Abstract

Dalam upaya mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat, dosen Universitas Nusa Mandiri melakukan pengabdian masyarakat melalui pelatihan pembuatan web dengan menggunakan Wordpress dan pemanfaatan layanan hosting bagi UKKT RW 05 Tegal Parang. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup penyampaian konsep dasar pembuatan website dengan fokus pada penggunaan Wordpress sebagai platform yang user-friendly dan efisien. Peserta pelatihan diberikan panduan dalam membuat konten, mengelola tata letak, dan memahami penggunaan hosting untuk mengonlinekan website. Adapun kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara praktek langsung dan interaktif, yang mana pengurus UKKT Tegal Parang langsung mempraktekan materi yang diberikan Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat serta juga dapat melakukan diskusi secara langsung dengan Tim PM dari Universitas Nusa Mandiri. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada peserta terkait teknologi informasi, khususnya dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan website. Dengan demikian, diharapkan Karang Taruna RW 05 Tegal Parang dapat memanfaatkan teknologi ini untuk meningkatkan kegitan mereka, mempromosikan kegiatan, dan memberikan informasi yang lebih efektif kepada masyarakat lokal. Hal ini diharapkan akan membawa dampak positif dalam peningkatan kemampuan teknologi informasi di komunitas tersebut.

Abstract

The development of a rice leaf disease detection information system using the Agile method aims to provide an innovative solution for fast and accurate plant disease identification. The system can detect four major rice leaf disease classes: bacterial blight, brownspot, blast, and healthy conditions. The development process follows an iterative approach, starting from understanding user needs to system implementation and testing. Black-box testing was applied to ensure that all features, such as image upload and disease classification, function according to specifications. Evaluation results indicate that the system achieves high accuracy in disease detection based on the utilized dataset. However, dataset limitations and testing scenarios pose challenges for generalizing results to real-field conditions. Hence, intensive evaluation and dataset updates are crucial for future development. With its user-friendly interface, the system is expected to support farmers in improving productivity and efficiency in rice disease detection.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assist the company in determining the best product to use based on production results so that it can increase customer satisfaction in using and consuming products sold using the preference selection index method. The application of the preference selection index method in determining the best product will result in a comparison of the values of all product data produced in the 1st quarter period. So that the developed decision support system can determine the best product according to predetermined criteria. The calculation of determining the best product using the preference selection index shows that the results of calculating the final value of the 1st best product get a final score of 0.9495 obtained for the Original Banana Chips product, the 2nd best product gets a final score of 0.8969 obtained for the Banana Chips product Balado Hijau and the 3rd best product with a final score of 0.8783 was obtained for the Milk Banana Chips product.

Abstract

Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) at Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays a crucial role in connecting graduates with the workforce. However, the current manual process of disseminating job vacancies and handling applications leads to suboptimal information distribution and inefficient data management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based job recruitment system to improve the efficiency of information dissemination and the job application process for students and alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen. The system is developed using the Waterfall model, which includes the phases of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show that the developed system successfully delivers real-time job vacancy information, accelerates the application process, and improves the accuracy of matching candidates with available jobs. Testing conducted using the Black-Box Testing method confirms that the system functions as expected, ensuring proper input validation, secure access control, and high data integrity. It is expected that this system will enhance the employability of SMK graduates and make the recruitment process more efficient and effective.

Abstract

Accurate classification of beef and pork images is crucial for developing reliable automated food inspection systems, particularly due to their visual similarity in color, texture, and muscle fiber patterns. This study aims to comparatively evaluate the performance of multiple deep learning models for binary meat image classification using RGB digital images. Four Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, namelyInceptionV3, VGG16, ResNet50, and Xception were assessed under identical preprocessing pipelines and hyperparameter settings to ensure a fair comparison. The dataset underwent cropping, resizing to 224×224 pixels, normalization, and augmentation to enhance variability and improve generalization performance. Model effectiveness was measured using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score on unseen test data. Experimental results show that InceptionV3 achieved the most balanced classification performance, with a test accuracy of 72% and an F1-score of 0.7. Although Xception obtained higher training accuracy, it exhibited overfitting during testing, while VGG16 and ResNet50 demonstrated comparatively lower classification capability. These findings indicate that InceptionV3 provides a more stable and generalizable architecture for beef and pork image classification. The study highlights the importance of cross-architecture evaluation in developing robust CNN-based systems for automated meat classification.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design of the Taekwondo Valentino Club website using a Design Thinking approach. The research was conducted within a community-based sports club characterized by non-technical users and a relatively informal organizational structure. The methodology followed the five stages of Design Thinking—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—with data collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The study involved 41 respondents, including club administrators, coaches, and members. The evaluation results show an average SUS score of 83, placing it in the Excellent category. Overall, users did not exhibit negative perceptions regarding system complexity, consistency, or practicality. Task-based observation further indicated that the majority of respondents completed all usage scenarios without requiring additional technical assistance. The findings demonstrate that the Design Thinking approach is effective in producing an intuitive and easy-to-use UI/UX design that aligns with the needs of community sports club users. This study contributes to UI/UX research by highlighting interface requirement patterns specific to community-based sports organizations and supports ongoing efforts to digitize community sports club management.
