Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income women rice farmers use jajar legowo method in Empat Balai village and it's efficiency. The research was conducted in Empat Balai village of Kuok district Kampar  regency. Sampling was done deliberately (purposive sampling) that women farmers are using jajar legowo method with the total sample as many as 71 women farmers. The results showed the total fixed cost (TFC) for 71 respondents amounted to Rp 37.289.017 planting season with an average of Rp 525,197 planting season, while the total variable cost (TVC) was Rp 102.142.164 planting season or with average variable cost amounting to Rp 1.703.964 planting seasons for each respondent and total cost (TC) production effort women farmers rice method using jajar legowo method in Empat Balai village was Rp 139,431,169 mt, with an average of Rp 1,963,819 mt. Amount of income received women rice farmers using the jajar legowo method was Rp 255,272,331 mt, with an average of Rp 3.595385 mt.  And the value of R/C ratio business women farmers rice method using jajar legowo in Empat Balai village was 1.83 > R/C or 1 with an average R/C ratio of 3.56 and the average R/C ratio of the smallest 106, meaning farming is done efficiently

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Strategi promosi pasar Van der Capellen dalam meningkat pengunjung. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimana Strategi promosi pasar Van der Capellen dan apa yang menjadi faktor pendukung serta penghambat strategi Pasar Van der Capellen. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Pengelolaan data yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  Strategi promosi Pasar Van der Capellen menggunakan periklanan (Advertising) yang memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media promosi dan kerjasama dengan Dinas-dinas terkait Faktor penghambat promosi Pasar Van der Capellen berasal dari dalam diri masing-masing pengurus pasar Van der Capellen karena belum terjalinnya kerjasama yang baik antara pengurus serta adanya komentar-komentar negatif mengenai postingan yang di upload di media sosial instagram dan faktor pendukung Promosi Pasar Van der Capellen adanya kerjasama dari Dinas terkait serta pihak lain seperti Emersia Hotel, Wartawan, agen Travel and Tour maupun Photografer terhadap promosi Pasar Van der Capellen sehingga Promosi Pasar Van der Capellen tetap terjalankan.

Abstract

Food-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting household economic growth, including in Sialang Village, Bangkinang Subdistrict. One of the local businesses, “Keripik Cabe dan Mie Kuning Bu Inun,” produces cassava chips using traditional frying methods, which result in high oil absorption, inconsistent quality, short shelf life, and low production efficiency. Limited knowledge of food processing technology, sanitation, and food safety standards further hinders business development. This community service program aims to address these challenges through the application of low-oil frying technology, training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), production assistance, and periodic evaluation. The implementation method includes field observation, technical training, technology demonstration, production mentoring, and monitoring. The results show significant improvements in product quality, indicated by lower oil content, crispier texture, brighter color, and longer shelf life. Efficiency in oil usage and process stability also increased. Moreover, the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in sanitation, food safety, and production management improved considerably. Overall, the program successfully enhanced the competitiveness of the MSME, strengthened production sustainability, and provided positive economic impacts. This initiative can serve as a replicable model for other food MSMEs facing similar challenges.

Abstract

The Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS) is one of the government's efforts to improve community access to safe drinking water, especially in rural areas. This study aims to evaluate the adequacy of the PAMSIMAS water supply managed by the Tambiliok Jaya Community Group (Pokmas) in Muara Jalai Village and assess the accuracy of its distribution to the surrounding community. Initial conditions before the program was implemented indicated that some residents only received low-quality water, namely cloudy, brownish-yellow, and oily. The PAMSIMAS program has been operating since 2022, so an evaluation of its performance is necessary after more than two years of implementation. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through field observations and interviews with beneficiaries. The analysis results indicate that the current PAMSIMAS water supply has met the community's daily needs and is considered sufficient and stable over time. Furthermore, service distribution is considered well-targeted because the main beneficiaries are residents who previously experienced water quality problems. These results indicate that the existence of the Tambiliok Jaya Community Group (Pokmas) PAMSIMAS has had a positive impact on better access to safe drinking water for the Muara Jalai Village communit.
