Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the Quantum Learning Model on the Ability to Understand Reading Content in Indonesia Language Learning for Grade V Student of SDN 1 PAREMAS, Jerowaru District. The research used was a quantitative method with an experimental research theme. The research used a pre-experiental design with a one-grouppretest-posttest type. The population that became the subject of this study were all students at SDN 1 PAREMAS. Based on the data obtained, it was known that the pretest csore on the result obtained was 129 and the posttest score was 162. The result of the pretest normality test for the ability to understand the content of students’ readings were obtained by a count of 0.840 with an it table value of 0.0220, so that the count <it table. While the value of the posttest normality test result obtained by a count of 0.899. with an it table value of 0.220, so that tce count<it table. This shows that the data from the pretest and posttest result for the ability to understand the content of students’ readings were normality distribused.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kotaraja and to identify the extent of its influence on their critical thinking skills in the Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) subject. IPAS, or Natural and Social Sciences, is a field of study that examines living and non-living things in the universe and explores human life as individuals and social beings interacting with their environment. IPAS learning provides students with opportunities to engage directly with their surroundings. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest method. The research subjects consisted of 24 students. Data were collected through observation sheets, test instruments in the form of a series of questions, and worksheets designed to assess students’ critical thinking skills before and after the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Data analysis was carried out using Descriptive Statistics, Normality Test, and Hypothesis Test (Paired Sample t-test). The results showed an increase in students’ pretest and posttest scores after applying the PjBL model. This was supported by the results of the paired sample t-test, which indicated a posttest score of -26.125 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores.Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has a significant and positive effect on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students. This learning model can be used as an effective teaching strategy to encourage students to be more active in expressing their opinions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials using Hayzine Flipbook based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) and examine its effectiveness in improving student understanding. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which included the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used in this study were using media expert and material expert validation sheets, educator questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The validation results by media experts with a score of 55 in the range of 51 < X ≤ 63 so that it can be categorized as “good” and for material experts with a score of 60 in the range of 51 < X ≤ 63 so that it can also be categorized as “good”. The results of the educator response questionnaire with a score of 38 in the range of 34 < ???? ≤ 42 so that it can be categorized as “practical”, while the results of the overall student responses got a score of 59.7 with an average of 4.26 so that it is in the range of X> 42.0 with the category “very practical”. The field trials conducted showed that this teaching material is effective in improving students' understanding of concepts. Students also gave a positive response to the use of this teaching material because it is more interesting and interactive than conventional teaching materials. Thus, the development of teaching materials using PBL-based Hayzine Flipbook can be used as an alternative in learning to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) berbantuan teks cerita terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Gelanggang Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A sebanyak 20 orang siswa. Variabel penelitian ini menggunakan variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Variabel bebasnya yaitu metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review), sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu keterampilan membaca pemahaman. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes cerita untuk mengetahui keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa menggunakan metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review). Sebelum data dianalisis, instrumen diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Setelah data terkumpul, kemudian dilakukan analisis hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil tes pada pretest mencapai rata-rata 65, berada pada kategori cukup. Kemudian pada hasil tes posttest rata-rata meningkat menjadi 74,85 dengan kategori baik. Untuk uji normalitas data menggunakan chi-kuadrat, sedangkan teknik uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji t-tes. Untuk hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,987 > 1,729. Hal ini berarti bahwa hipotesis yang diterima yaitu ada pengaruh signifikan pada penggunaan metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Gelanggang TP. 2021/2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat saat implementasi proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) pada kurikulum merdeka di SDN 1 Dasan Borok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dari penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, guru kelas VI, 2 siswa kelas VI. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi atau pengecekan data dari berbagai sumber. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di SDN 1 Dasan Borok telah dilaksanakan dengan mengangkat tema kearifan lokal topik sumpeng ambon, namun belum berjalan optimal. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Pelaksanaan didukung oleh peran kepala sekolah dan ketersediaan bahan sederhana, tetapi terkendala oleh keterbatasan waktu dan sarana.
