Abstract

This study aims to determine the symbolic thinking ability of chidren aged 4-5 years which includes the ability to count the number of objects from 1 to 10, recognize the concept of numbers, recognize number symbols, and recognize letter symbols. The problem in this study was that when learning observations took place, parents asked children to count the number objects from 1 to 10, recognized the concept of numbers, recognized number symbols, and recognize letter symbols and the child could already count and recognized number symbols. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. The type of research used was the type of experimental research conducted with four meetings using coastal media. The subjects in this study were 11 children in Wali Urban Village, aged 4-5 years. Data collection was carried out by observation. The data analysis technique used in this study was the qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study showed that the symbolic thinking abilty of children aged 4-5 years using coastal media developed as expected.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the development of children's rough motoric through Boi creative game in Batubanawa Village, Mawasangka Timur District, Central Buton regency. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative, where descriptive qualitative research was research that studies the existing problems and working procedures that apply. The results of this research were that the development of children's rough motoric experienced the development; 8 of 9 children who played the game developed very well. This proves that Boi creation games can improve rough motoric skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran kearifan lokal sarung tenun khas Buton dan pakaian adat Buton Alana Bulua dan dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang berlokasi di kota Baubau dan kabupaten Buton. Teknik observasi dilakukan untuk mengamati secara langsung sarung tenun Butondanpakaian adat Alana Bulua, serta bagaimana kegiatan anak terkaitnya dalam upaya agar anak usia dini memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan untuk tugas perkembangannya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran pakaian adat Buton Alana Bulua dan sarung tenun khas Buton anak usia dini merupakan suatu bentuk inovasi pengintegrasian kearifan lokal suatu daerah ke dalam pendidikan anak usia dinidalam mengembangkan aspek perkembangan kognitif, sosial emosional, nilai moral dan agama, fisik, bahasa dan seni. Selain itu, anak dapat menghargai bahan alam seperti tanaman sebagai inspirasi bentuk, tema maupun corak dalam berkreatifitas untuk suatu karya seni.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planting of Islamic values through a scientific approach in early childhood.  This research was descriptive with qualitative research belongs to the type of case studies conducted in Raudatul Aisyiyah Athfal Wale Wolio Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi. Aspects that are studied are internalizing the values of islam to cultivate gratitude as a creature of God's creation and care for the environment, through the stages of scientific approaches, namely: to observe, ask yourself, menalar, try, and communicate. Researchers acted as a means of collecting the data, and using the tools in the form of guidelines for observation and interview guidelines are summarized in the form of the note field and tools documentation. The results showed that the cultivation of the values of islam through a scientific approach in early childhood can be done by providing knowledge and experience in early childhood, beginning with shows the power of the Almighty God who created living things, cultivate a sense of gratitude for existence and benefits of the creatures of his creation, as well as how to treat the creature creation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of implementing Baubau Mayor Regulation Number:   1 of 2014 regarding equitable access to early childhood education. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative evaluation, that is, research in which one of them describes or takes pictures of policy implementation. The results of the study indicate that the Mayor of Baubau Regulation Number 81 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Early Childhood Education in the city of Baubau is a policy that has been carried out for a long time and has an impact on increasing and equalizing the number of units, teachers, students as a form of community participation in PAUD services. There are also supporting and inhibiting factors that use a reference in improving the rearrangement of the policy.Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan  dampak implementasi Peraturan Walikota Baubau  Nomor:81 Tahun 2014 terkait pemerataan akses pendidikan anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah evaluasi bersifat kualitatif deskriptif,  yaitu penelitian yang salah satunya  menggambarkan atau memotret  tentang implemenetasi kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peraturan Walikota Baubau Nomor 81 Tahun 2014 tentang Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di kota Baubau merupakan kebijakan yang telah lama dilakukan dan berdampak pada peningkatan dan pemerataan pada  jumlah satuan, guru, peserta didik sebagai wujud  partisipasi masyarakat pada pelayanan PAUD. Terdapat pula faktor-faktor  pendukung dan penghambat yang dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam perbaikan penyusunan kembali  kebijakan tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of Buton culture in developing curriculum policies in the PAUD unit in Baubau City. In this study, the method used is qualitative, located in the city of Baubau. The technique of extracting data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results show that Baubau City is a historical place rich in Buton cultural heritage and has become a tool for harmonization and harmony of diversity that has existed for hundreds of years. Buton culture is not tangible and intangible, so this potential must be preserved, developed, and integrated in a systematic and structured manner, namely through learning activities in the PAUD unit in its development in the PAUD unit, the Buton culture is creatively integrated into appropriate learning themes. . It is hoped that early childhood will have the potential of the Buton cultural character so that the Baubau City Government as a regional policyholder needs to formulate policies as a reference for developing a local curriculum based on Butonnese culture in PAUD units throughout the city of BaubauPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi budaya Buton dalam pengembangan kebijakan kurikulum di satuan PAUD Kota Baubau. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang lokasinya di  kota Baubau. Teknik penggalian data yang dilakukan adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kota Baubau adalah tempat bersejarah yang kaya akan warisan budaya Buton dan menjadi alat  harmonisasi serta kerukunan keberagaman yang telah ada sejak ratusan tahun yang lalu.  Budaya Buton ini tada yang bersifat tangible dan intangible  menjadi potensi ini harus dilestarikan, dikembangkan, dan diintegrasikan  secara sistematis dan terstruktur yaitu melalui kegiatan pembelajaran di satuan PAUD  dalam pengembangannya di satuan PAUD, budaya Buton tersebut diintegrasikan secara kreatif  ke dalam teman-tema pembelajaran yang sesuai.Diharapkan anak usia dini  kelak memiliki karakter budaya Buton yang petensial tersebut. Sehingga Pemerintah Kota Baubau sebagai pemegang kebijakan daerah  perlu untuk menyusun kebijakan sebagai acuan pengembangan kurikulum lokal berbasis budaya Buton di satuan PAUD se kota Baubau.

Abstract

Maksud dan manfaat dari Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan para guru di Taman Kanak-kanak Nur Ikhsan Baubau tentang booklet sebagai media pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak Usia Dini, untuk menginspirasi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar anak dan memberikan informasi. tentang semakin pentingnya pengajaran bahasa Inggris untuk Anak Usia Dini. Booklet dengan berbagai keunggulan ini menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak Usia Dini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, di mana tahap pertama oleh siswa membuat sejumlah booklet beserta isi materi bahasa inggris yang disesuaikan dengan materi pelajaran anak usia dini dan tahap kedua adalah pengenalan. booklet yang dilakukan oleh dosen kepada guru di Taman Kanak-kanak Nur Ikhsan. Selama kegiatan ini para guru memberikan respon yang sangat baik dan diperkenalkan dengan booklet ini sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang bisa mereka gunakan di masa depan. Situasi interaktif antara dosen dan guru selama kegiatan menggugah motivasi guru untuk mengajarkan bahasa Inggris kepada siswa lebih optimal mengingat pada masa-masa sebelumnya pembelajaran bahasa Inggris tidak berjalan sesuai harapan.

Abstract

This paper aims to introduce the essential aspects that teachers should know in teaching children to read in English. The age level of the children referred to in this paper are children aged 5 to 7 years. The aspects include the characteristics of children, the importance of teaching children to read in English, decoding and phonemic awareness. The aspects were selected from the results of the analysis of previous related literature that are still considered important for discussion so as to provide new treasures for teachers in particular. With this paper, it is hoped that it can enrich information about teaching young chidren to read in English and increase the teacher's insight about teaching young children to read in English so that teaching reading can take place effectively.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk berbagi wawasan dalam mengenalkan dan membiasakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, khususnya tata cara mencuci tangan pakai sabun yang benar, mengosok gigi, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, membersihkan lingkungan saat bermain untuk menghindari penularan bakteri. Menjaga kebersihan adalah salah satu strategi paling efisien untuk memerangi penyebaran virus; Kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui stimuasi langsung kepada anak-anak di TK Dana. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada minat anak dalam keahlian PHBS setelah dilakukan stimulasi melalui praktik langsung tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.
