Abstract

Cerita pendek (cerpen) adalah cerita kisahan pendek yang kurang dari 10.000 kata, memberikan kesan tunggal yang dominan, dan memusatkan diri pada satu tokoh dalam satu situasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ekspresi pengarang yang terdapat dalam cerpen yang berjudul ”Senyum Karyamin”. Cerpen ini adalah salah satu cerpen dari ketiga belas cerpen dari kumpulan cerpen yang berjudul “Senyum Karyamin” karya Ahmad Tohari. Model pendekatan yang dipilih adalah pendekatan ekspresif menurut Abrams. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pembacaan pertama, yaitu heuristik. Teknik heuristik digunakan untuk membaca cerpen dan mengumpulkan penggalan-penggalan dengan tanpa melibatkan konteks. Untuk menganalisis data, pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pembacaan kedua, yaitu hermeneutik. Teknik pembacaan ini digunakan untuk memahami ekspresi pengarang yang disampaikan dengan didasarkan pada kaidah dan kode sastra, sosial, dan budaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekspresi pengarang berupa senang, sabar, khawatir, peduli, bimbang, dan marah. Hal tersebut digambarkan melalui tokoh, kejadian, dialog, dan perilaku tokoh di dalam cerpen “Senyum Karyamin”. Selain itu, beberapa ekspresi yang disampaikan pun memiliki kaitan dengan yang dialami, dirasakan, atau yang dipikirkan oleh pengarang seperti dengan latar pendidikannya, keluarganya, dan persepsinya.

Abstract

The Gadod Weaving Industry in Majalengka, a cultural heritage of high value, faces challenges due to low brand awareness and customer engagement caused by a traditional business model that has not undergone digital transformation. This research aims to optimize a business model based on local resources through collaboration between culture and digital technology to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study on Gadod Weaving artisans in Nunuk Baru Village. The research findings present a business model design for Tenun Gadod based on local resources, emphasizing community collaboration, cultural storytelling, and digital marketing. The digital campaign "Gadod Weaving for the World" showed significant improvements: content reach exceeded 32,000 impressions with 65.2% new audience, an interaction rate of 1.83% (exceeding the national average), a +211% increase in website active users, and a +306% increase in online interaction activity. The main outcomes of this research include the BMC-VPC business model, branding strategy, training for local content creators, and digital collaboration with regional media. The implementation of the R.A.I.S.E method has proven effective in integrating research, business strategy, and culture-based digital promotion. The research results demonstrate that cultural storytelling and cross-sector collaboration can increase the economic value and image of Tenun Gadod as a highly competitive local product. This strategy has the potential to be replicated in other traditional weaving industries, supporting cultural preservation while strengthening the creative economy in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the author's expression during the Aceh conflict period as found in the short story “Dia Dulu Bukan GAM” by Fazil Abdullah. The approach used is an expressive approach based on Abrams' theory. The data source in this study is the short story “Dia Dulu Bukan GAM” by Fazil Abdullah. The data in this study includes phrases and sentences found in the narrative of the story as well as the behaviors/feelings of the characters as depicted by the author in the short story. Data collection was carried out using the semiotic reading method. The steps that can be taken in analyzing literary works using Abrams' expressive approach are (1) understanding and carefully reading the literary work and analyzing a number of the author's thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and experiences that are present directly or indirectly in the work, (2) presenting the author's thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and experiences and relating the data obtained to the author's biography, and finally (3) draw conclusions. The results of the analysis found that the author's expressions reflected in the work include feelings, idealism, experiences, and social situations occurring around the author

Abstract

Teachers are fundamentally required to have pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. One of their continuing professional competencies is to conduct academic publications. This study aims to explore academic publications in journals conducted by Indonesian language subject teachers at the high school level in Three Regions of Cirebon and the factors affecting them. The data were obtained by interviewing 138 out of 152 teachers because some school principals did not allow the interview and no permission letter from the National Unity and Political Agency, especially in Cirebon City. The interview results show that 35% of teachers have never published in Academic journals. This condition is partly due to the following factors: a) time, b) the purpose of the journal, c) lack of confidence, d) difficulty in researching online, e) age approaching retirement, f) technology stuttering, g) not accustomed to writing, h) lack of motivation, i) need approval from the supervisor, j) lack of knowledge on how to create an article, k) there is no demand and l) availability of funds. Therefore, there needs to be efforts from several parties, especially the school community. For example, the Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) activities can also be utilized to introduce and familiarize teachers with Academic publications. School principals provide facilities for teachers to be able to conduct academic publications. AbstrakGuru pada dasarnya dituntut memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional. Salah satu kompetensi profesional berkelanjutan mereka adalah melakukan publikasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui publikasi akademik pada jurnal yang dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA di Wilayah III Cirebon dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Data diperoleh dengan mewawancarai 138 dari 152 guru karena beberapa kepala sekolah tidak mengizinkan wawancara dan tidak ada surat izin dari Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik khususnya di Kota Cirebon. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa 35% guru belum pernah mempublikasikan di jurnal Akademik. Kondisi ini antara lain disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor berikut: a) waktu, b) tujuan jurnal, c) kurang percaya diri, d) kesulitan melakukan riset online, e) usia mendekati pensiun, f) gagap teknologi, g) belum terbiasa untuk menulis, h) kurangnya motivasi, i) perlu persetujuan dosen pembimbing, j) kurangnya pengetahuan tentang cara membuat artikel, k) tidak ada permintaan dan l) ketersediaan dana. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya dari beberapa pihak khususnya warga sekolah. Misalnya saja kegiatan Konferensi Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengenalkan dan membiasakan guru terhadap publikasi Akademik.
