Abstract

This paper aims to analyse the characteristics and originality of the traditions in the book Musnad Al-Shafi’i, a monumental work compiled by Imam Al-Shafi’i (d. 204 AH), which focuses on collecting the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that serve as the basis for the formation of Islamic legal methodology, especially in the Shafi’i school of thought. Imam Al-Shafi’i is famous as a scholar of Fiqh not as a scholar of hadith, even though his teacher Imam Malik was a scholar of hadith, then Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal as his student was famous as a scholar of hadith. This study uses a descriptive-analytical approach by examining the quality and authenticity of the traditions contained in the Musnad, as well as analysing its contribution to the development of hadith science and Islamic fiqh. The Musnad of Al-Shafi’i contains a variety of traditions that have distinctive characteristics in terms of sanad and matan, and contains many traditions that are often the main reference in the process of interpreting the law. The method that the author uses with the data analysis of the book in the Musnad of Al-Shafi’i in which hadith scholars differ in opinion about the book originating from the imam Al-Shafi’i, approximately 500 traditions that are only from him, the rest are only much debated narrations from Al-Shafi’i through his students. As a result, there are many versions of the Musnad of Al-Shafi’i that need to be researched again, so it opens up the possibility for further research, both the history of the rijal al-hadis who quoted from Imam Al-Shafi’i.[Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan orisinalitas hadis dalam kitab Musnad Al-Syafi’i, sebuah karya monumental yang disusun oleh Imam Al-Syafi’i (w. 204 H), yang berfokus pada pengumpulan hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad saw. yang dijadikan landasan dalam pembentukan metodologi hukum Islam, khususnya dalam mazhab Syafi’i. Imam Al-Syafi’i terkenal sebagai ulama Fiqh tidak sebagai ulama hadis, padahal guru beliau Imam Malik ialah ulama hadis, kemudian Imam Ahmad bin Hambal sebagai murid beliau terkenal sebagai ulama hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan menelaah kualitas dan keotentikan hadis-hadis yang terkandung dalam Musnad tersebut, serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap perkembangan ilmu hadis dan fiqh Islam. Kitab Musnad Al-Syafi’i mengandung berbagai hadis yang memiliki ciri khas dalam hal sanad dan matan, serta memuat banyak hadis yang sering kali menjadi rujukan utama dalam proses istinbath hukum. Metode yang penulis gunakan dengan analisis data Kitab pada Musnad Al-Syafi’i yang ulama hadis berbeda pendapat tentang kitab tersebut berasal dari imam Al-Syafi’i, lebih kurang 500 hadis yang hanya dari beliau, selebihnya hanya riwayat yang banyak diperdebatkan dari Al-Syafi’i lewat murid beliau. Adapun hasilnya Banyaknya versi dari Musnad Al-Syafi’i yang perlu diteliti lagi, sehingga membuka kemungkinan untuk penelitian yang lebih lanjut, baik riwayatnya dari rijal al-hadis yang menukil dari Imam Al-Syafi’i.]

Abstract

The Association of Mosque Youth or popularly called IRMAS today seems to be fading its existence, amidst the dominance of the temptation of Gadgets, teenagers are no longer active in the Mosque but are busy with their respective gadgets. Applications are increasingly being made adaptive and increasingly easy to access so that the mosque becomes deserted by young people who are the successors of religion and nation. This study seeks to find out the conditions of the cadres of the Mosque Youth Association as cadres of da'wah at the Babussalam Mosque, Puncak Kemuning Village, Lubuk Linggau City. The research method used in this study is Qualitative Descriptive. Researchers conducted direct observations and interviews with the Head of the Mosque, IRMAS Mentors, IRMAS Members and the Community who witnessed the existence of IRMAS Babussalam in the midst of society. The findings of this study are that coaching for IRMAS Babussalam cadres is carried out Proactively by the Mentors and Head of the Mosque. Cadres are required to be disciplined in organizing and fostering religion at the Babussalam Mosque. The results of the study concluded that with good coaching and support, IRMAS cadres can be maximized as da'wah cadres who play a vital role in society.

Abstract

This article discusses the philosophical approach in the interdisciplinary study of multicultural Islamic Education. Islam as a universal religion emphasizes human values, equal rights, and recognition of cultural diversity. In understanding multicultural Islam, philosophical approaches are an important instrument to explore the essence, essence, and wisdom of religious teachings. An interdisciplinary approach allows for the integration of various disciplines to provide a more comprehensive understanding of social, cultural, and religious issues. This research highlights how philosophical approaches are applied in Islamic studies through metaphysical, epistemological and axiological analyses. Using this perspective, Islam is not only understood in normative aspects but also in an applicative context that is relevant to the challenges of the times. The study also emphasizes the importance of multicultural Islamic education in building tolerance and harmony in a pluralistic society. The research uses qualitative methods through literature analysis. This research is analytical-descriptive, aiming to explore philosophical concepts, theories, and principles related to Islamic religious education in a multicultural context. Through this approach, research not only explains the concept, but also analyzes and interprets the meanings contained in it. This study concludes that a deeper understanding of Islam can be an alternative solution in dealing with social and cultural complexity. Multicultural Islamic education must continue to be developed as an effort to moderate religion to create an inclusive and peaceful society.

Abstract

Ulama Nusantara memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan keilmuan Islam, baik di tingkat lokal maupun global. Salah satu tokoh yang menonjol adalah Sayyid Muhsin bin Ali al-Musawa, ulama asal Palembang yang hidup pada awal abad ke-20 dan berkiprah dalam jejaring keilmuan di Haramain. Meskipun wafat pada usia yang relatif muda, ia meninggalkan jejak intelektual dan institusional yang signifikan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan untuk mengungkap kembali kontribusi ulama Nusantara yang selama ini kurang mendapatkan perhatian dalam kajian sejarah intelektual Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menelusuri pemikiran dan pergerakan Sayyid Muhsin bin Ali al-Musawa dalam bidang ushul fiqh, fiqh, dan hadis, serta kontribusinya dalam pendirian lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan melalui telaah literatur primer dan sekunder berupa kitab, artikel, dan kajian akademik yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam bidang ushul fiqh, Sayyid Muhsin menulis Madkhal al-Wushul ila ‘Ilm al-Ushul yang menegaskan kepakarannya dalam teori hukum Islam. Dalam bidang fiqh, ia menyusun al-Nafhah al-Hasiniyah yang berfokus pada ilmu faraidh. Sementara itu, kontribusinya di bidang hadis tampak dari otoritas sanad yang dimilikinya, sehingga dipercaya mengajar kitab-kitab hadis utama di Masjidil Haram. Selain itu, perannya dalam mendirikan Madrasah Dar al-‘Ulum al-Diniyyah di Makkah menjadi bukti nyata komitmennya dalam membangun institusi pendidikan bagi pelajar Nusantara. Dengan demikian, pemikiran dan pergerakan Sayyid Muhsin tidak hanya memperkuat tradisi intelektual ulama Nusantara, tetapi juga memberikan pengaruh besar dalam jejaring keilmuan Islam internasional.

Abstract

This research is a thematic application of hadith fiqhi regarding the law of hoarding goods from the perspective of the Prophet’s hadith. The first step is to determine the equivalent meaning or meaning of words in Arabic. Then, the hadiths that are considered good or credible are in accordance with the science of hadith. Furthermore, conformity with the Qurân and other traditions that are appropriate in meaning. Then, look at the whole meaning of the hadith and the causes that arise from the hadith (asbâb al-wurud). As for the results of the hadiths, what is collected is that it is forbidden to hoard goods when it is related to staple goods due to the consequences of the crisis and the bigger is the emergence of other diseases due to curses from Allah. However, scholars differ on the level of hoarding goods that are carried out in relation to a lot of goods so that they can stay long in the hadith fiqhi
