Abstract

Soil is a very important element in the success of a development project and is part of the foundation used. Therefore, stable soil is needed to obtain the required soil bearing capacity. Such as clay has the characteristics of low bearing capacity and large shrinkage. This study aims to determine the increase in the value of the shear strength of clay with the stabilization of PET plastic waste. The purpose of this study is to see the value of the shear strength of clay with variations in the amount of plastic waste 0%, 3.5%, 4%, and 4.5%.  Method used is SNI 3420:2016 for the shear strength test. As a result, the addition of shredded plastic waste can increase the value of the shear strength of the soil.The value of shear strength increased at the percentage of plastic addition of 3.5% of 0.5663 kg/cm2 in the original soil test, the value of shear strength was 0.5271 kg/cm2, an increase of 7.43%. The conclusion is that there is an increase in the value of the shear strength of the soil stabilized by plastic waste at a variation of 3.5% of plastic waste, an increase of 7.43%.

Abstract

Asphalt Starbit PG 70 is a polymer (elastomer) based modified asphalt. The advantages of Asphalt Starbit PG 70 are resistant to water and weather, thus affecting the construction of highway infrastructure. Construction of highways in peat water areas, where the characteristics of peat water are that it contains high levels of organic matter and iron and has a low pH < 4 – 5, causing performance disturbances and causing pavement damage. The study aimed to analyze the wear value of Starbit asphalt due to peat water immersion for 30 minutes, 24 hours, and 48 hours. The research method is wear testing based on the 2018 Revision 2 Bina Marga Specifications. The results of soaking in peat water for 48 hours experienced an increase in weight loss of 7.37% due to having a high level of acidity which contains lignin compounds in organic matter. Meets the specifications of Highways 2018 Revision 2, namely for a weight loss value of ≤ 20%.

Abstract

Abstrak Peningkatan pembangunan jalan meningkat sangat signifikan pada saat sekarang. Pembangunan jalan juga sering dilaksanakan di atas tanah dengan daya dukung rendah. Tanah Lempung merupakan salah satu jenis tanah yang memiliki daya dukung rendah. Kuat dukung tanah lempung dapat ditingkatkan agar dapat dipakai untuk subgrade jalan yaitu dengan melakukan stabilisasi tanah. Stabilisasi dengan penambahan pasir pada tanah lempung dapat menaikkan nilai California Bearing Ratio (CBR). Persentase penambahan pasir yaitu 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20%. Sampel tanah lempung diambil dari daerah Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru. Pasir yang digunakan dari quarry kampar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat peningkatan nilai CBR tanah dengan penambahan pasir pada tanah lempung. Metode penelitian menggunakan standar SNI 03-1744-2008 untuk pengujian CBR laboratorium. Hasil penelitian nilai CBR tanah asli adalah 3,72%. Nilai ini tidak memenuhi syarat dari Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga Tahun 2018 (Revisi 2) nilainya 6%. Nilai CBR meningkat menjadi 17,72% pada penambahan pasir sebesar 20%. Kesimpulannya penambahan pasir pada tanah lempung dapat meningkatkan nilai CBR tanah tersebut, yaitu menjadi 17,72% pada persentase 20% pasir. Semakin bertambah peresentase penambahan pasir nilai CBR tanah lempung semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Lapisan perkerasan jalan yang menjadi bagian konstruksi paling penting penting adalah subgrade atau tanah dasar, fungsinya untuk mendukung beban yang ada di atasnya. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan nilai daya dukung tanah dasar adalah dengan perbaikan fisik tanah yaitu dengan mengganti tanah tersebut dengan tanah timbun. Tanah timbunan sebagai pengganti tanah dasar memiliki karakteristik yang harus sesuai dengan Spesifikasi Bina Marga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah timbun sebagai pengganti subgrade jalan. Metode pengujian yaitu pengujian laboratorium. Sampel tanah timbun diambil dari Bekasab, Duri. Hasil penelitian untuk karakteristik tanah timbun yaitu untuk sifat fisis tanah tergolong klasifikasi CL yaitu lempung tak organik. Sifat mekanis tanah timbun diperoleh nilai CBR sebesar 16,80%. Kesimpulannya karakteristik tanah timbun untuk pengganti subgrade tidak diperbolehkan plastisitas tinggi dan untuk sifat mekanis nilai CBR berdasarkan Spesifikasi Bina Marga Tahun 2018 Revisi 2 > 6%.

Abstract

Kampung Baru Village is one of the villages in Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City. Has a Posyandu Mekar Kuntum Smell Fragrant. Posyandu functions are explained by partners for continuous monitoring of public health. Currently, posyandu still has simple facilities and infrastructure. To encourage people to feel comfortable when they are there, it is necessary to add facilities and infrastructure, namely by installing ceilings and dividing curtains. The purpose of this community service is to assist partners in making planning designs and cost budget plans (RAB) for ceiling renovations and curtain installation. The method used is the counseling method. The output of this activity is a planning drawing and the type of ceiling and curtain used and the RAB for installing the ceiling and curtain. The installed ceiling is a type of gypsum with a volume of 45 m2. For blinds that are installed made of soft and not transparent. Assisting with the installation of the posyandu ceiling and curtain.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in road construction is the low CBR value of the subgrade. Advances in stabilization technology for soil improvement by mixing clay with a mixture of gypsum powder which has elements of the compound Calcium Oxide (Cao), Potassium (Ca), Water (H₂O), Hydrogen (H), and Sulfur (S), so it is necessary to conduct further research and testing in the laboratory with the aim of obtaining the California bearing ratio value on variations in gypsum powder mixing. The research method used is an experimental method in the laboratory with reference to the 2018 Bina Marga General Specifications. With mixing variations of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% gypsum waste. The soil used in this research was taken from Jalan Badak area, Sail, Tenayan Raya sub-district, Pekanbaru City, Riau which was then tested in the laboratory by testing the specific gravity, soil density and california bearing ratio. The results of laboratory testing, it can be concluded that the addition of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% gypsum has increased the CBR value, namely with a CBR value of 1.70% to 12.50%. The CBR value has met the Binamarga specification, 2018 which is 6%. So from the results of the equation obtained, it shows a positive relationship, namely the optimum moisture content (OMC) value increases with the increase in the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value.

Abstract

Natural rubber asphalt modification is the result of the mixing of asphalt with natural rubber plus chemical additives of vulcanization (sulfur) that are mixed into one in a hot state. The addition of natural rubber makes the asphalt more elastic and able to withstand loads from heavier vehicles, more heat-resistant, and more adhesive to aggregates that make the road surface more resistant to cracks and holes. The research aims to analyze indirect tensile strength values in asphalt-modified natural rubber. The research method is a laboratory experimental study referring to SNI 6753:2015, with immersion variations of  ½ hour, 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours. The results of the study were indirect tensile strength values at congestion for 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours in a row of 459,752 KPa, 427,571 KPa, 379,771 KPa, and 379,971 KPa. The resulting tensile strength ratio for each variation is 100%, 92.98%, 82.59%, and 75.52%. The study concluded that the tensile strength ratio at submersion for ½ hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours meets the requirements of the AASTHO T-283 specification.

Abstract

Tanah lempung merupakan jenis tanah berbutir halus dengan diameter kurang dari 0,002 mm yang terdiri dari beberapa unsur seperti silikon, oksigen, dan aluminum yang banyak dijumpai di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Bersifat plastis dalam selang kadar air sedang sampai luas. Kemajuan teknologi stabilisasi untuk perbaikan tanah dengan mencampurkan tanah lempung dengan campuran abu sabut kelapa yang memiliki unsur zat kimia ialah (SiO₂), (Al₂O3), Fe₂O3 dan kapur yang memiliki unsur senyawa zat Kalsium Oksida (CaO), Ca(HO)₂, (SiO₂), dan (MgO), (Fe₂O3) sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian dan pengujian lebih lanjut di laboratorium dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan nilai kuat tekan bebas pada variasi pencampuran abu sabut kelapa dan kapur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental di laboratorium. Dengan variasi pencampuran 5%, 7%, 9% dan 11% abu sabut kelapa dan 5% kapur. Hasil penelitian penambahan abut sabut kelapa 5%, 7%, 9%, 11% dan 5% kapur mengalami peningkatan nilai kuat tekan bebas (qu), nilai yang di peroleh 1,19 kg/cm² menjadi 5,44 kg/cm². Kesimpulannya terjadi penigkatan kuat tekan bebas dengan penambahan abu sabut kelapa. Saran perlu dilakukan pengujian CBR dengan variasi yang sama.

Abstract

Limbah fly ash digunakan sebagai bahan pengikat pada campuran mortar geopolimer yang direaksikan dengan alkali activator dan katalisator serta serat kawat bendrat sebagai bahan tambah pada campuran mortar geopolimer tersebut. Dengan menambahkan serat kawat bendrat pada mortar geopolimer menjadikan kuat terhadap retakan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis nilai kuat tekan pada mortar geopolimer dengan penambahan serat kawat bendrat . Metode penelitian merupakan studi eksperimental di laboratorium dengan perbandingan agregat dan pengikat yaitu 65%:35%, perbandingan SS:SH yaitu 2:1 molaritas alkali 12M dan variasi serat kawat yaitu 0%, 0,25% , 0,50%, 0, 75% dan 1 % terhadap berat fly ash . Pada penelitian ini benda uji yang digunakan berupa kubus dengan ukuran 50 ´ 50 ´ 50 mm. Pengujian untuk kuat tekan mortar dilakukan pada umur mortar 28 hari dengan perawatan suhu ruang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai tertinggi pada pengujian kuat tekan pada variasi 0% yang kuat tekan rata-ratanya 113,53 kg/cm 2 dan nilai terendah terdapat pada variasi 1% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,98 kg/cm 2 . Kesimpulan dari penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa kuat tekan rata-rata mortar geopolimer dengan tertinggi sebesar 113,53 kg/cm² tergolong pada mortar tipe S dimana pada tipe S memiliki kuat tekan ? 52,5 Kg/cm² dan dapat digunakan pada pasangan terbuka di atas tanah. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian dengan variasi yang berbeda

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has unique tourism potential areas. Semut Island is an ecotourism that is still beautiful with the development of a local community-based tourism sector. Access to tourist attraction locations is still unknown to many people around Pekanbaru City. For this reason, a map of tourist attraction locations is needed to make it easier for visitors to access tourist locations. Before a tourist map is created, it is necessary to identify potential tourist attractions in Semut Island. This activity aims to help partners identify the potential of the Semut Island tourist attraction. The method used is the discussion and mentoring method. As a result, partners were able to identify the potential of the Semut Island tourist attraction and were able to form a grand design for the Semut Island tourist attraction.
