Abstract

Kanker sering dianggap sebagai penyakit mematikan dan banyak orang takut sehingga salah satu dampak yang timbul sebagai akibat dari diagnosis kanker adalah kecemasan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kecemasan yaitu komunikasi terapeutik dari seorang perawat dan efikasi diri pasien kemoterapi kanker paru. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dan efikasi diri dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien kemoterapi kanker paru di Poli Paru Rumah Sakit Dr. Saiful Anwar Kota Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel mengunakan teknik purposive sampling . Sampel penelitian yaitu pasien kemoterapi kanker paru sebanyak 40 responden. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik Spearmen Rho didapatkan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,648 dengan p value sebesar 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara komunikasi terapeutik dengan kecemasan dan memiliki hubungan dengan kategori kuat. Sedangkan antara efikasi diri dengan kecemasan didapatkan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,817 dengan p value sebesar 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan efikasi diri dengan kecemasan memiliki hubungan dengan kategori sangat kuat. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu semakin efektif tingkat komunikasi teraupetik perawat kepada pasien, maka semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan pasien kemoterapi kanker paru dan semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka akan semakin menurunkan tingkat kecemasan.

Abstract

Introduction: Hysterectomy surgery can cause various kinds of anxiety for patients. Family support can help patients deal with the stress and anxiety of hysterectomy surgery. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and anxiety levels in preoperative hysterectomy patients at the Central Surgical Installation of RSUD dr Saiful Anwar Malang. Methods: Research method descriptive analytic with cross-sectional approach l. The population and sample of this study were 33 respondents with total sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire on family support and preoperative anxiety levels using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Results: The results showed that most respondents (84.8%) had family support, and 42.4% had anxiety levels in the mild and moderate categories in preoperative hysterectomy patients. Analysis with the Spearman Rank test with α = 0.05 obtained p value = 0.030 or p < 0.05 showed that there was a relationship between family support and anxiety levels in preoperative hysterectomy patients at the Central Surgical Installation of RSUD dr Saiful Anwar Malang with. Conclusion: Family support affects the anxiety of pre-hysterectomy patients because family support can help patients deal with the stress and anxiety caused by hysterectomy surgery. The better the family support, the lower the anxiety levels of patients after preoperative hysterectomy.

Abstract

Long-term hemodialysis lowers a patient's zest for life, which may have an impact on how well they follow their dietary guidelines. Dietary noncompliance is a major issue, particularly for people receiving hemodialysis. The client's quality of life may be negatively impacted by non-compliance, and rising medical expenses may have an adverse effect on hemodialysis patient compliance. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how family social support and fluid intake compliance relate to each other in patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis at Dr. Saiful Anwar Regional Hospital in Malang. Quantitative descriptive research is the kind that this study is doing. 110 patients with chronic kidney failure who received hemodialysis in the Malahayati ward at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang, were included in the study's population as of March 2023. Purposive sampling was utilized in the sampling process to yield 52 respondents. A questionnaire is used in this study as the measurement method. The Spearman Rank correlation test is the data test that is employed. According to the Spearman Rank correlation test results, there is a connection between patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang and their compliance with fluid consumption (p value <0.05). It is intended that Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital will enhance its offerings and educate families about the support networks available to patients as they receive hemodialysis treatment and manage their fluid intake.
