Abstract

Advances in digital technology have encouraged the utilization of artificial intelligence, especially machine learning, in various sectors, including property price analysis. However, there are still many people who do not understand the basic concepts of this technology, so structured and applicable education is needed. To answer this challenge, an activity entitled “Utilization of Machine Learning for Property Price Segmentation and Prediction” was held which aimed to introduce and train participants in the application of machine learning to predict property prices. This activity consists of two main parts, namely webinars and workshops. The webinar focused on introducing the concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and AI Project Cycle as the main method in analyzing house prices. Meanwhile, the workshop provided hands-on training to participants in building prediction models using Google Colab. This activity was carried out through a series of stages, starting from socialization, preparation of materials, pre-test to measure initial understanding, educational and practical sessions, to evaluation through post-test and filling in participant feedback. A total of 39 participants from various backgrounds participated in this activity. The evaluation showed that 38.7% of participants were satisfied, while 51.6% were very satisfied with the program. In addition, the post-test results showed a significant increase in understanding compared to the pre-test results. Based on these results, this activity proved to be successful in providing new insights into the application of machine learning in property price prediction and equipping participants with practical skills that can be applied in the real world.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has a crucial role in decision making. To increase public understanding, especially students, about Data Science, a webinar and online workshop titled “Python and Data Science: Building a Foundation with Practical Projects” through the Zoom Meeting Conference platform. This activity aims to provide a basic understanding of the concepts, benefits, and applications of Data Science in various industrial fields. Participants are invited to learn the use of Python in data analysis, and are given case study projects related to sales data analysis to apply the knowledge they have gained. This webinar and workshop activity was held on January 23, 2025, at 09.00 WIB which was attended by 40 participants from various institutions. The evaluation results show that participants expressed their satisfaction as indicated by the percentage of positive values in the feedback of 40% satisfied and 37% very satisfied with this activity.  In addition, there was an increase in participants' understanding of Data Science, with the Pre-Test average score increasing from 7.87% to 8.21% on the Post-Test.

Abstract

Tanaman Hias kerap kali digunakan sebagai penghias rumah, kantor, dan sebagainya karena keindahannya. Namun banyak orang yang memiliki tanaman hias merasa kesulitan untuk merawatnya dengan baik karena minimnya pengetahuan tentang kondisi kesehatan tanaman hias dan cara merawatnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan membuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis android bernama Florys. Tujuannya adalah untuk membantu pemilik tanaman hias merawat tanamannya agar lebih sehat yang dapat dianalisis melalui foto atau hasil pemindaian tanaman, serta memberikan saran perawatannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah AI Project Cycle. Dimulai dengan pengumpulan dataset beranotasi dari platform Kaggle dan Roboflow, pelatihan model deteksi serta evaluasi performa model dengan menggunakan metrik precision, recall, dan mean Average Precision. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model YOLOv8 mampu mendeteksi berbagai jenis penyakit tanaman hias dengan tingkat precision mencapai 73%, menunjukkan akurasi deteksi yang cukup tinggi. Model telah diuji dengan dua skenario yaitu untuk deteksi tanaman hias dalam kondisi sakit dan sehat. Pada pengujian deteksi tanaman sakit, model menghasilkan keluaran yang konsisten dengan tingkat kepercayaan tinggi, yang divalidasi dengan rata-rata hasil prediksi dikalikan faktor pengujian sebesar 0.5. Sedangkan untuk deteksi tanaman sehat, model menunjukkan hasil yang konsisten pula dengan faktor pengujian sebesar 0.8. Kedua pengujian ini membuktikan bahwa model memiliki kapabilitas dalam mengidentifikasi kondisi tanaman dengan akurat dan dapat memberikan rekomendasi perawatan yang tepat kepada pengguna.

Abstract

A webinar and workshop titled "Introduction to Digital Forensics" was held online on July 12, 2025, to improve public understanding of digital data security. Twenty participants attended the event, which included both a pre-test and a post-test. Results showed an increase in participant understanding, with scores on volatile data increasing from 73.7% to 88.2%, on non-volatile data from 72.2% to 82.4%, and on the definition of digital forensics from 84.2% to 88.2%. Furthermore, participant satisfaction was high, with 60% scoring excellent and 30% scoring good. This event was deemed successful in providing a basic understanding of digital forensics and raising awareness of the importance of data protection in the digital age.

Abstract

The "Design Faster, Code Smarter: Web Design With SASS" webinar and workshop, held on July 16, 2025, successfully educated participants on modern web design using SASS. This activity was implemented to address the challenges of managing traditional CSS code, which tends to be repetitive, difficult to maintain, and prone to errors in large-scale projects. SASS was chosen as the solution due to its dynamic, structured, and modular approach to writing CSS, offering features such as variables, functions, and mixins that significantly improve development efficiency. This community service activity employed a descriptive quantitative method, utilizing a survey approach through pre- and post-test questionnaires, as well as feedback forms, to measure participants' understanding. The 21 participants were students from the Informatics Engineering program at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. A pre-test assessed initial knowledge, followed by a post-test and feedback questionnaire after the workshop. The workshop also provided hands-on coding experience, guiding participants in creating landing pages using Visual Studio Code and Figma designs. The post-test and feedback results revealed high participant satisfaction and a significant increase in understanding of SASS concepts. The percentage of correct answers to post-test questions ranged from 78.9% to 89.5%. Furthermore, 89.5% of participants stated that the material was clear (21.1% strongly agreed, 68.4% agreed), and 89.5% were satisfied with the overall event (21.1% felt very good, 68.4% good). This initiative successfully demonstrated that hands-on training effectively improves skills in modern web development and underscores the importance of continuing education programs to further enhance participants' SASS skills.

Abstract

The latest developments in web technology require mastery in the development of well-planned and secure APIs as a foundation for integrating various digital systems. However, many new developers have difficulty in understanding the basic principles and practices of creating web-based APIs. To fulfil this need, the service team organised an event entitled "Laravel API Masterclass: Authentication, Role-based Access, and CRUD Testing" which aims to introduce the basics of API development using the Laravel framework to participants with various backgrounds. This activity was organised in the form of Webinars and Workshops, which included the delivery of theoretical material on API concepts, Laravel project structure, and role-based authentication and access control, followed by hands-on practical sessions from setting up to testing APIs using Postman. Through this programme, participants are expected to build a strong foundation for creating APIs that meet industry standards and are ready to be applied in small to medium-sized web application development.

Abstract

In the modern era, having a digital portfolio is an important requirement for students and aspiring professionals in the field of technology. To support this, LinkedIn profile management and project publication to GitHub are strategies that can be applied. The activity themed "Boost Your Digital Portfolio: From LinkedIn Profile to GitHub Repository" was held to equip participants with this understanding and skills. The activity consisted of two sessions: a webinar that discussed the preparation of LinkedIn profiles and the use of GitHub as a medium for project publication, and a workshop that focused on developing a template-based portfolio website and publication to the GitHub repository. Evaluation was conducted through a feedback questionnaire. The results showed that 47.9% of participants were satisfied and 48.1% were very satisfied. This shows that the majority of participants gave a positive response to the material, resource persons, and the overall implementation of the activity.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini membutuhkan pendekatan yang adaptif terhadap karakteristik individu anak. Metode Montessori, yang menekankan kemandirian, eksplorasi sensorik, dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, telah terbukti efektif secara holistik, namun implementasinya perlu disesuaikan dengan profil masing-masing anak. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi berbasis Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) untuk menentukan pendekatan Montessori yang paling sesuai. Sistem memanfaatkan basis kasus historis yang mencakup atribut seperti usia, minat sensorik, tingkat kemandirian, dan fokus belajar. Melalui perhitungan angka similaritas, sistem merekomendasikan model pembelajaran Montessori seperti Practical Situation, Reading & Writing, Initial Sensory, dan Arithmetic. Evaluasi menggunakan metode Confusion Matrix yang menunjukkan angka akurasi mencapai 86,7%. Hasil ini mengindikasikan efektivitas metode CBR dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan pendidikan Montessori yang lebih personal dan berbasis data.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi selain menimbulkan dampak positif, juga menimbulkan dampak negatif. Kejahatan siber adalah salah satu ancaman yang menimbulkan banyak kerugian khususnya mengenai data diri seseorang. Untuk itu, perlu adanya pemahaman terkait keamanan siber oleh khalayak umum. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan mengadakan webinar dan workshop mengenai keamanan siber. Penulis dan tim mengadakan kegiatan pengenalan mengenai keamanan siber dengan mengambil judul “Introduction To Web Security : Detecting XSS With Dalfox And Parampsider”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pemaparan materi dengan Webinar dan dilanjutkan dengan Workshop. Dilakukan evaluasi kepuasan peserta melalui kuisioner yang menunjukkan respon positif terhadap pemateri dan materi yang disampaikan. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berjalan sukses, dibuktikan dengan partisipasi dari 45 peserta dari berbagai instansi. Peserta juga mengisi Pre-Test dan Post-Test yang menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik terhadap materi. Feedback yang didapatkan dari peserta adalah 70,5% merasa puas dan 29,5% merasa sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Teknologi yang berkembang pesat memiliki dampak positif dan negatif, tergantung pada penggunaannya. Di satu sisi, teknologi memudahkan aktivitas individu atau kelompok, sementara di sisi lain, penyalahgunaannya dapat menyebabkan kejahatan dunia maya (cybercrime). Hal ini mendorong peningkatan sistem keamanan sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya cybercrime. Dalam konteks ini, teknologi informasi memegang peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi global. Selain itu, meningkatnya penggunaan sistem operasi virtual menuntut pendekatan forensik digital yang lebih canggih, terutama dalam pengumpulan bukti seperti citra dan file memori. Program ini memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan melalui webinar dan workshop kepada 56 mahasiswa yang tertarik pada keamanan siber, dengan fokus pada teknik akuisisi bukti digital. Edukasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap integritas bukti dan metode yang tepat dalam forensik digital, dengan hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman sebesar 30% pada materi yang diajarkan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 88.64%, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 77.95%. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendidikan berkelanjutan dalam forensik digital untuk menghadapi tantangan yang berkembang dalam dunia maya.
