Abstract

Abstract: Income plays an important role in determining household expenditure, including family food consumption patterns. In Sei Rotan Village, wet-rice farmers face both internal and external challenges. The gap in access to modern technology in the agricultural sector is not only a technical issue, but also a social and economic issue that requires serious attention. This activity is expected to add insight into the interactive platform among participants, allowing the exchange of experiences and information among farmers, as well as facilitating discussions on important issues in local agriculture. The method used in community empowerment through Community Service activities by supervisors is in line with the Real Work Lecture by Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi students. The success of this community service activity cannot be separated from the solid collaboration between supervisors, students, partners, and all members of the Sei Rotan Village community. Through this community service activity, the community can increase income from the agricultural sector and have an impact on improving the welfare of farmer groups. Keyword: income increase, agricultural digitallization

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan ada atau tidaknya pengaruh latar belakang ekonomi keluarga dan biaya pendidikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMAN 1 Linggabayu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai RHitung yaitu 0,537. Selanjutnya nilai ini dikonsultasikan dengan daftar tabel kritik product moment dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 78 orang (N=78) dengan derajat kesalahan 5% maka RTabel = 0,227. Sesuai dengan ketentuan maka nilai RHitung lebih besar dari nilai RTabel (0,537 lebih dari 0,227). Dapat diartikan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini dapat diterima kebenarannya (Ha diterima). Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara latar belakang ekonomi keluarga dan biaya pendidikan terhadap motivasi belajar para peserta didik di kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Linggabayu.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of digital technology, which is currently increasing rapidly, provides many conveniences that provide new opportunities in various aspects, especially in world marketing. One of the uses of technology that can be used by businesses to market their products is the use of social media. This study aims to determine the effect of using social media using content marketing and personal selling on purchase intentions at Roti Romi Medan. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research and the nature of this research is explanatory research. The sampling technique in this study is a non-probability sampling technique. Sampling was done by accidental sampling, namely as many as 99 respondents. Data were analyzed with SPSS. The results of the study prove that content marketing and personal selling both partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the number of visitors to Karo Regency and the number of tourist attractions impact Regional Original Income (PAD) in Karo Regency during the 2018–2023 period. The secondary data used in this study was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Karo Regency Tourism Office. To determine the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable, both partially and simultaneously, descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression were employed. The results indicate that the number of tourist attractions and the number of tourists have a significant simultaneous effect on PAD, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.85, meaning that these two variables account for 85% of the variation in PAD. The number of tourist attractions has a significant partial effect on PAD, whereas the number of tourists does not. In addition to providing theoretical insights into the relationship between tourism and PAD, this study offers practical benefits in the form of strategic recommendations for tourism management in Karo Regency. However, the study is limited to data collected within a specific period and does not include additional variables such as hotel occupancy rates or tourist spending. Future research is expected to incorporate more variables and a broader dataset to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the topic.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize accessibility to increase tourist attractions in the Florida Baths of Namukur Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data is collected through interviews, documentation, and observations from tour guides, business actors, and local communities. The results show that inadequate road conditions, lack of direction signs, and limited transportation are the main obstacles. However, the natural beauty and the support of the local community is a significant strength. Increased accessibility is expected to increase the number of visitors and local income. SWOT analysis identifies the need for facility improvement and more aggressive promotion. In conclusion, investment in infrastructure and road facilities, along with community involvement and effective marketing strategies is very important for the sustainable development of tourism in the Florida Baths, while maintaining environmental and social sustainability)

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran informasi laporan keuangan terhadap pengelolaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Klambir V. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya pemahaman pelaku UMKM dalam menyusun dan memanfaatkan laporan keuangan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan usaha. Padahal, laporan keuangan memiliki peran penting dalam mengetahui kondisi keuangan, kinerja usaha, serta sebagai alat perencanaan dan pengendalian. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap pentingnya laporan keuangan dalam pengelolaan usaha. Selain itu, pelaku UMKM mulai mampu menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis, seperti perencanaan usaha, pengendalian biaya, dan evaluasi kinerja

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of socioeconomic factors on the welfare of guava farmers (Psidium guajava) in Sei Semayang Village,Dusun Xvii Sempat Arih Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The variables analyzed include income, labor, and education level. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that income and education level have a positive and significant effect on farmers’ welfare, while labor does not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all variables significantly influence welfare, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.423, indicating that 42.3% of the variation in welfare can be explained by the model. These findings suggest that improving income and education plays a crucial role in enhancing the welfare of guava farmers.

Abstract

Rendahnya kapasitas ekonomi hijau dan minimnya orientasi kewirausahaan sosial menjadi kendala utama keberlanjutan usaha mikro pada komunitas binaan di Kota Medan, di tengah tekanan degradasi lingkungan dan ketimpangan ekonomi perkotaan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat kapasitas ekonomi hijau dan kewirausahaan sosial mitra melalui pendekatan pendampingan partisipatif selama enam bulan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi asesmen kebutuhan, sosialisasi dan diskusi kelompok terfokus, pelatihan tematik, pendampingan teknis lapangan, monitoring-evaluasi, serta diseminasi hasil kepada 42 mitra yang tersebar pada empat klaster usaha, yaitu kuliner, kerajinan dan daur ulang, urban farming, serta jasa kreatif digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata omzet bulanan pada seluruh klaster usaha selama periode pendampingan, serta peningkatan skor kompetensi mitra pada enam dimensi utama, yaitu pemahaman ekonomi hijau, literasi keuangan, literasi digital dan pemasaran, kewirausahaan sosial, pengelolaan limbah, serta jejaring dan kemitraan. Diagram laba-laba (radar chart) memperlihatkan lonjakan skor tertinggi pada dimensi pemahaman ekonomi hijau dan pengelolaan limbah/daur ulang, sejalan dengan penguatan praktik ekonomi sirkular berbasis rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan terstruktur berbasis kolaborasi akademisi, komunitas, dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat mampu mendorong transisi usaha mikro perkotaan menuju model bisnis yang lebih hijau dan berdampak sosial. Program disarankan dilanjutkan dengan skema pendampingan lanjutan serta fasilitasi akses pembiayaan hijau bagi keberlanjutan jangka panjang.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kakao merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Sebagian besar masyarakat Desa Jandi Meriah Kecamatan Tiganderket Kabupaten Karo menggantungkan mata pencahariannya pada usaha tani kakao. Pendapatan petani dipengaruhi oleh produktivitas kakao, harga jual, luas lahan, biaya produksi, dan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut terhadap pendapatan petani kakao. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 57 petani kakao yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas kakao, harga jual, luas lahan, biaya produksi, dan tenaga kerja secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani kakao. Produktivitas kakao merupakan variabel yang paling dominan memengaruhi pendapatan petani. Kesimpulan: Produktivitas kakao, harga jual, luas lahan, biaya produksi, dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh1positif dan1signifikan terhadap pendapatan2petani kakao di Desa Jandi Meriah Kecamatan Tiganderket Kabupaten Karo.

Abstract

The analysis of the welfare of rice farming in Klambir V Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency aims to analyze the factors that affect farm welfare, namely land area, production, price, education, labor, capital, government policy and technology. The population of the research were 470 rice farmers, while tha sample were 216 rice farmers as the respondents The data were processed using factor test analysis and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires, the data were processed using SPSS software Version 23.0 for Windows. Based on the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), it was found that from the 8 variables analyzed with the factor analysis model consisted of 2 factors, namely production factors and capital factors. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that production and capital have a significant effect on the welfare of farming in Klambir V Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. Farmers need guidance from the public or private sectors regarding marketing their harvested crops and utilizing technology to enhance both the quantity and quality of their production. To become independent, farmers should also establish farmer groups or cooperatives that can assist in getting financing loans, marketing their produce, and sharing information amongst farmers.
