This The purpose of this study is to find out how adolescent social behavior is related to fatherless status. The absence of a father figure in a child's life, both physically and emotionally, is referred to as fatherless status. Social behavior is the way a person interacts well with others such as cooperating, empathizing, and communicating. This study used a correlational quantitative method with 118 respondents from Ibs Nur Shofin Junior High School. This study used the Father-Love Absence Scale (FLAS) instrument used to measure fatherless status and the Social Skills Improvement System-Rating Scale (SSIS-RS) used to measure adolescent social behavior. Assumption tests including normality and linearity were conducted, and the results showed that the assumptions were met for the Pearson correlation test to be used. The results showed a significant moderate negative relationship between social behavior and fatherless status (r = -0.416, p < 0.01). That is, the higher the level of fatherlessness, the lower the social behavior exhibited by adolescents. This study confirms the important role fathers play in supporting adolescents' social development and may serve as a basis for social and educational interventions.

Background: The increasing use of social media among adolescents raises concerns about its impact on learning concentration. Students widely use TikTok because it offers engaging, easily accessible short videos. Aim: This study analyzes the relationship between TikTok use and learning concentration among early adolescents. Method: The study used a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional design. The study population comprised N = 193 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah, with a sample of N = 138 selected via cluster sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Social Media Engagement Scale for Adolescents (SMES-A) with 11 items and a learning concentration scale with 28 items. Data analysis used product-moment correlation and simple linear regression. Results and Discussion: The results showed a correlation coefficient of -0.030 with a p-value of 0.725 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant relationship between the intensity of TikTok use and students' learning concentration. The regression results also showed that social media use accounted for only 0.1% of the variation in learning concentration. Conclusion: This finding indicates that social media use is not the main factor influencing students' learning concentration, as it is also influenced by other factors, such as learning motivation, interest in the subject, and the learning environment.

Background: Early childhood parenting represents a crucial phase in family development that requires a high level of emotional involvement from parents. During this period, parents face various parenting demands related to meeting children’s physical needs as well as supporting their emotional and social development. Such conditions may increase the risk of parenting stress, particularly when parents experience difficulties regulating their emotions or lack adequate support from their social environment. Aim: Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of emotion regulation on parenting stress among parents of young children and to examine the moderating role of social support in this relationship. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey parents of students at RA Muslimat NU 07 as research participants. Data were collected using three standardized psychological instruments: the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) to measure parents’ emotion regulation, the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA) to assess the level of parenting stress, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure perceived social support. Data analysis was conducted using simple regression to examine the direct effects of emotion regulation and social support on parenting stress. Result and Disscussions: The results indicate that emotion regulation and social support do not have a significant simultaneous effect on parenting stress (F = 0.357; p = 0.701; R² = 0.011). Partially, emotion regulation (p = 0.866) and social support (p = 0.486) also do not show a significant effect on parenting stress. Furthermore, the moderation test reveals that the interaction between emotion regulation and social support is not significant (p = 0.387), indicating that social support does not function as a moderating variable in this relationship. Conclusion: These findings suggest that emotion regulation and social support are not the main determinants of parenting stress among parents of young children in this study, indicating that other factors may play a more dominant role in influencing parenting stress beyond the variables examined.

To improve the mental well-being of adolescents is that there is no intention to seek psychological help. This study aims to explore the relationship between public stigma, self-stigma, and the intention to seek psychological help among adolescents who are educated in Madrasas. The method used in this study is quantitative with a cross-section design. This study involved 580 participants, who were invited using convenience and snowball sampling methods. The instruments used were cultural orientation, self-public, social-network stigma, attitudes towards seeking help, intention to seek counseling, and demographic questions. The main findings suggest that adolescents who experience high levels of public stigma tend to have higher levels of self-stigma, which further influences their intention to seek help (psychologically). In addition, cultural orientation also shapes perceptions and attitudes toward seeking counseling help. The findings of this study highlight the urgent need for targeted interventions to reduce public stigma against mental health problems, which can be provided by educational institutions, mental health organizations, as well as governments to create an environment that supports the mental well-being of adolescents.

Bullying behavior among junior high school students is a serious issue that can negatively affect the psychological development of both victims and perpetrators. However, studies specifically examining the role of emotion regulation as a moderator in the relationship between empathy and bullying behavior among junior high school students remain limited. Therefore, this study aimed to examine emotion regulation as a moderator of the relationship between empathy and bullying behavior among junior high school students. This study employed a quantitative approach with a moderation regression design. The participants were 223 students from SMP Ma’arif 1 Metro, selected using a total sampling technique. The research instruments included the Empathy Scale (Indonesian version of EmQue-CA, α = 0.96), the Emotion Regulation Scale (α = 0.865), and the Bullying Behavior Scale (α = 0.88). Data analysis was conducted using moderated regression analysis in SPSS version 21. The findings revealed that empathy did not have a significant effect on bullying behavior (p = 0.285 > 0.05). However, emotion regulation significantly moderated the relationship between empathy and bullying behavior (p = 0.000 < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.888 indicated that empathy and emotion regulation contributed 88.8% to bullying behavior. These findings demonstrate that emotion regulation serves as a moderating variable, strengthening the relationship between empathy and bullying behavior among junior high school students. The practical implication of this study is the importance of integrating empathy and emotion regulation development programs into school bullying prevention efforts.

This study examines the correlation between empathy and bullying behavior among students at SMP Ma’arif 1 Metro. Bullying in school environments has become an increasing concern due to its negative impact on students’ psychological well-being. Previous studies suggest that empathy plays a crucial role in shaping social behavior; however, empirical findings regarding its relationship with bullying remain inconsistent. Employing a quantitative approach, this study involved a population of 321 students, with a sample of 178 students selected for analysis. Data were collected using validated instruments, including a 10-item empathy scale and a 15-item bullying behavior scale. Due to non-normal data distribution (p = 0.019), the analysis was conducted using Spearman's rank correlation. The findings reveal that both empathy and bullying behavior are at a moderate level, and there is a significant but weak positive correlation between the two variables (rₛ = 0.268, p < 0.05). This result indicates a complex relationship between empathy and bullying behavior, suggesting that other psychological or social factors may influence this association. These findings highlight the importance of considering multiple factors in developing interventions to reduce bullying, rather than focusing solely on enhancing empathy

Aggressive behavior among students in Islamic boarding schools influenced by seniority culture has become a serious problem requiring systematic intervention. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling using a behavioral approach with modeling technique in reducing aggressive behavior among students at Walisongo Islamic Boarding School. A quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed. Twenty male students from Sunan Kalijogo dormitory identified as having aggressive behavior tendencies were selected through purposive sampling based on the Buss Aggression Scale screening. The sample was divided into an experimental group (n = 10) and a control group (n = 10). The experimental group received four behavioral group counseling sessions using modeling technique, each lasting 45 minutes, while the control group received no treatment. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 with Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's Test for homogeneity, paired-sample t-test, and independent-sample t-test with Welch's correction. Results showed a significant decrease in aggressive behavior scores after the intervention (t(19) = -19.965, p < 0.001), with a pretest mean of 60.45 (SD = 7.13) and posttest mean of 96.75 (SD = 3.14). These findings confirm that behavioral group counseling with modeling technique is effective in reducing aggressive behavior among students influenced by seniority culture.

Toxic relationships often have a profound psychological impact, especially on adult women who have experienced failed engagements. This condition can affect life satisfaction and self-esteem, and hinder the process of emotional recovery following a relationship. The purpose of this study was to understand the impact of toxic relationships on the life satisfaction and self-esteem of adult women who have experienced failed engagements. The approach used was phenomenology with in-depth interviews with three adult women who had gone through this experience. The results showed that toxic relationships negatively impacted life satisfaction and self-esteem as evidenced by emotional deterioration and barriers to self-development and decreased self-esteem caused by feelings of disrespect and loss of direction in life. The findings highlight the importance of understanding the emotional impact of toxic relationships and the need for social support to aid in the recovery process after relationship failure. This research may provide guidance for the development of interventions that support women's recovery after experiencing toxic relationships.
