Abstract

This research is motivated by student discipline where students commit disciplinary violations at school. This research aims and focuses on revealing the relationship between identity crisis and student discipline at SMK Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This type of research is quantitative research with correlation methods. The population in this study were all students at SMK Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur for the 2023-2024 academic year. The sample in this research was 96 students using the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire (Questionnaire). Data analysis uses the Percentage Test with formula C, Normality Test, Linearity Test and Correlation Test. The research results show that: the level of identity crisis for students at SMK Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur is in the high category with a percentage of 73%. The level of student discipline at SMK Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur is in the high category with a percentage of 75%. The Pearson correlation value obtained is interpreted using correlation guidelines, where the calculated r (0.662) is in the range (0.40-0.70) which is interpreted as being in the medium category. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between identity crisis and student discipline. From the research results, it is recommended that future researchers be able to use other research methods to strengthen the validity of the research and that future researchers can improve this research by reducing errors in research.

Abstract

Kepribadian merupakan bagian dari latar belakang dan sikap seseorang terhadap perilakunya. Kepribadian tipologis Hipokrates-Galenik adalah salah satu dari Socrates dan Galen lebih dari 400 SM dari tipe kepribadian yang teridentifikasi. Ahli Hippocrates-Galen  mengungkapkan bahwa ada empat landasan yang terbagi dari empat temperamen.  Jenis tempramen ini berasal dari zat-zat cair yang terdapat dalam tubuh manusia dimana mempunyai ciri khas serta karakteristik tersendiri yaitu  koleris (empedu kuning), melankolis (empedu hitam), berdarah (darah merah), plegmatis (lendir).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan self esteem pada mahasiswa dalam masa studinya yang berfokus pada prestasi akademik yaitu hasil dari pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi yang disebut indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan hubungan antara indeks prestasi kumulatif dengan self esteem  mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi yang menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis korelasi product moment. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 292 mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling Universitas Jambi angkatan 2020, 2021 dan 2022 dengan sampel sebanyak 169 mahasiswa yang ditentukan dari teknik penarikan sampel dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dengan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat ipk mahasiswa berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan dengan persentase 80% dan self esteem pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 65%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara ipk dengan self esteem  dengan nilai korelasi 0,306 yang artinya hubungan jelas tetapi kecil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi atau sering disebut dengan penelitian asosiatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Adapun untuk penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang siswa kelas XI TPM 1 dan 2 Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 SMK Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Dan instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket konformitas teman sebaya dan perilaku agresif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya memiliki persentase sebesar 61,72% sedangkan perilaku agresif sebesar 60,86%. Selanjutnya hasil dari uji hipotesis menunjukkan analisis korelasi Product Moment kedua variabel tersebut adalah r=0.465.sig. 0.000 < 0.05 Ha diterima Ho ditolak berarti ada hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Jambi, dilihat dari kriteria penafsiran korelasi 0.465 termasuk ke dalam korelasi 0.41-0.70 yang artinya korelasi sedang: hubungan memadai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Peneliti memberikan saran untuk Guru BK dapat membuat program tentang layanan konseling dalam rangka mengedukasi siswa terkait konformitas teman sebaya serta perilaku agresif.

Abstract

Family is the first and main forum that greatly influences the determination of a family's future. Overall, the family environment is a place and container for the growth and development of children (family members), where the family has a big factor in forming a child's soul and character, therefore it is necessary to create a positive environmental atmosphere by instilling the principles of moral values in life. a child in the family environment carried out by every family member, especially parents. Parents have a very important role in shaping a child's character. As the main role models in children's lives, parents can set good or bad examples in their daily behavior and attitudes. Abstract

This writing uses the literature search method by twenty-one electronic databases, namely Google Scholar and Google Book. Research from journals published between 2009-2022. Understanding students' personality types can help identify in solving student problems because each student has its own personality. This writing aims to know and understand students' personalities based on the Hippocrates-Galenus theory. By knowing the characteristics and personality types of each student, individual planning is carried out to help students solve problems.

Abstract

We really need to know that authoritarian parenting is a picture of parenting that disappoints parents so that children become obedient. authoritarian caregivers greatly influence children's social behavior, as the results of research conducted by Meike et al. that authoritarian parenting style has a bad effect, which means that the higher the authoritarian caregiver pattern set by parents for children, the lower the child's social behavior. This article was written using a literature study method that which sources come from various articles that match the title and what problems are discussed. The purpose of authoritarian parenting is to make them obedient by suppressing control by their parents. The guarantor uses authoritarian parenting, which is tough, inflexible, and will be taught to improve both in their environment, meaning that we can conclude that authoritarian parenting to the child's personality is very important for adapting children to the environment around them.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the relationship between gender stereotype perceptions and students' self-presentation at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. This research is limited only to gender stereotyped views of students' daily life at school. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The sample in this research was students in classes X and The instruments used were gender stereotype questionnaires and student self-presentation questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Percentage Test with formula C, statistical assumption test, and Correlation Test. The research results show that: 1) the level of perception of gender stereotypes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi is in the high category with a percentage of 78%. 2) students' self-presentation at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi is in the high category with a percentage of 74%. 3) The research results also show that the correlation results are known to be positive at 0.414 > r table 0.138 with a sig result of 0.000 < 0.05. The Pearson correlation value obtained is interpreted using correlation guidelines, where the calculated r (0.414) is in the range (0.40 – 0.70) which is interpreted as falling into the category of having an adequate relationship. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship in the positive direction between perceptions of gender stereotypes and students' self-presentation.

Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan faktor penting bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan keberhasilan belajar. Peningkatan minat belajar siswa dipengaruhi berbagai macam faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor peran guru bimbingan konseling dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui tekhnik home room. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif dari layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis teknik home room terhadap minat belajar siswa . Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan variasi pre-experimental one group pre-test-post-test. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa diperoleh sampel sebanyak 10 siswa (Satu kelompok ekperimen). Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket dengan jumlah item sebanyak 19 item. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji persentase dan wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa sebelum (pre-test) diberikan treatment sebesar 58,3% dan setelah diberikan treatment (post-test) sebesar 89,5%. Hasil Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan minat belajar siswa setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis teknik home room. Berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan Wilcoxon signed rank pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh Pvalue = 0,005. Pvalue

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of preliminary data found by researchers which showed that there were still many students who had low prosocial behavior. Students lack initiative to help others. If this is not addressed, it can lead to an increasingly indifferent attitude towards other people, which can later result in them growing into people who have highly individual characteristics and do not like to help selflessly. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of spiritual intelligence on the prosocial behavior of students at SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi. With a research population of 262 students in grades VII and VIII. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research using an ex post facto research approach. The analysis used to determine the influence of each variable uses a simple linear regression analysis technique. Subjects in this study were selected using a simple random sampling technique, data collection tools using a questionnaire. The results of the research show that there is a positive influence between spiritual intelligence on students' prosocial behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. With a correlation value of 0.508 and a regression of 0.258, which means that the influence of the independent variable (spiritual intelligence) on the dependent variable (prosocial behavior) is 25.8%. Thus, by using regression interpretation criteria, the R square value (0.258) is in the range of 0.17-0.49, which means that spiritual intelligence has a fairly strong influence on prosocial behavior.
