Abstract

The COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine has been extensively implemented through large-scale programs in numerous countries as a preventive measure against the resurgence of COVID-19 cases. In line with this vaccination effort, the Indonesian government has successfully inoculated over 74% of its population. Nevertheless, a significant decline in the duration of vaccine-induced immunity has raised concerns regarding the necessity of additional inoculations, such as booster shots. Prior to proceeding with further inoculation measures, it is imperative for the government to assess the existing level of herd immunity, specifically determining whether it has reached the desired threshold of 70%. To shed light on this matter, our objective is to ascertain the herd immunity level following the initial and subsequent vaccination programs, while also proposing an optimal timeframe for conducting additional inoculations. This study utilizes COVID-19 data from Jakarta and employs the SEIRV model, which integrates time-dependent parameters and incorporates an additional compartment to represent the vaccinated population. By formulating a dynamic generator based on the cumulative cases function, we are able to comprehensively evaluate the analytical and numerical aspects of all state dynamics. Simulation results reveal that the number of individuals protected by the vaccine increases following the vaccination program; however, this number subsequently declines due to the waning effect of the vaccine. Our estimates indicate that the vaccination program in Jakarta has achieved herd immunity levels exceeding 70% from October 2021 to February 2022, thus underscoring the necessity of rolling out further inoculations no later than February 2022.

Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus Dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti. Faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai gejala-gejala penyakit DBD serta cara menanggulanginya[1]. Pada penelitian ini, model epidemik yang digunakan adalah model SIR dengan asumsi bahwa penyemprotan (fogging), pendistribusian bubuk temephos dan sosialisasi 3M Plus, serta meningkatkan kegiatan fogging pada pemberantasan sarang nyamuk sebelum masa penularan (SMP) dapat digunakan sebagai upaya pencegahan kontak antara populasi manusia rentan dengan nyamuk yang terinfeksi, pengobatan dilakukan dengan individu yang terinfeksi, dan isolasi dilakukan bagi individu terinfeksi agar tidak terjadi kontak dengan nyamuk yang rentan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model matematika dalam menggambarkan penyebaran penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), menyusun kembali model dengan menghitung titik kesetimbangan dan bilangan reproduksi dasar, menentukan startegi kendali optimal untuk pengendalian penyakit DBD, serta melakukan simaluasi numerik[2]. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan model SIR-SI yang memodelkan dinamika penyebaran DBD. Dari model tersebeut, ditemukan dua titik kesetimbangan, yaitu titik kesetimbangan bebas penyakit  dan titik kesetimbangan endemik . Selain itu, bilangan reproduksi dasar  dihitung menggunakan metode Next Generation matrix, dengan hasil .

Abstract

Data Provinsi Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan pada tahun 2020 menginformasikan bahwa penyakit yang disebabkan oleh Dengue erat kaitannya dengan kondisi lingkungan dan perilaku masyarakat yang masih kurang dalam melakukan 4M plus yaitu menguras tempat penampungan air, mengubur barang bekas, menutup tempat penampungan air supaya tidak dijadikan tempat perindukan nyamuk, serta memantau jentik secara rutin. Selain itu faktor aquatik juga sangat penting dipahami sehingga dapat melakukan pencegahan terhadap jentik secara dini. Hal ini dapat mencegah pertumbuhan nyamuk penyebab DBD dengan cepat. Faktor-faktor ini menjadi penyebab penyakit DBD bersifat endemik baik di daerah perkotaan maupun pedesaan. Salah satu daerah Kabupaten Banjar yang banyak terjadi DBD adalah di Desa Pematang Panjang, Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk, Kabupaten Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Upaya pencegahan berbasis lingkungan diperlukan untuk memutus rantai perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes aegypti sebagai vektor utama penyakit ini. Program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Pematang Panjang dilaksanakan dengan memperkenalkan konsep LAMTIMUK (Kolam Anti Nyamuk) dan MANTIMUK (Tanaman Anti Nyamuk) kepada warga, guru, dan siswa SDN Pematang Panjang. Kegiatan menghadirkan narasumber akademisi yang berkompeten, yaitu Andriyanti Pasaribu, M.Pd., Dr. Pardi Affandi, S.Si., M.Sc., dan Dr. Anang Kadarsah, S.Si., M.Si. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan DBD berbasis lingkungan serta tumbuhnya kesadaran untuk menerapkan tanaman pengusir nyamuk dan kolam ikan pemakan jentik di sekitar rumah.

Abstract

The community service partners are housewives in Cindai Alus Village, Banjar Regency, who, in addition to their domestic roles, are also actively managing home-based microenterprises, particularly in the production of traditional Banjar snacks. This condition presents challenges, as most of them still have toddlers who require full attention, often disrupting the continuity of production. The program was implemented to enhance the ability of homemakers to manage their time, balance family roles with productivity, and reintroduce the traditional bapukung method, which functions to soothe children, support better sleep, and promote child development. The approach included socialization, training, and hands-on practice in utilizing sasirangan fabric as a material for the bapukung cradle, while also providing economic value through the development of handicraft skills. The results of the program indicate an increased understanding of daily time management, improved skills in producing sasirangan fabric products, and greater awareness of the benefits of bapukung in reducing interruptions during production activities. By applying this method, homemakers can allocate their time more effectively, thereby improving business productivity. This program concludes that strengthening the capacity of homemakers through traditional and innovative approaches can encourage economic welfare while simultaneously preserving local wisdom.

Abstract

The transition into a higher education environment often triggers academic pressure demanding optimal adaptive performance and a balance between study and personal life. Amidst modernization challenges, the local wisdom value of Bapukung holds strategic potential as an often-overlooked internal resource for self-management. This study aims to construct a predictive structural model to explain the mediating mechanism of dynamic strategic capabilities in the relationship between cultural affiliation and student performance outcomes. Data were collected via a survey of 81 first-year female students in South Kalimantan and analyzed using the Regularized Structural Equation Modeling method with the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator penalty. This statistical approach was applied to perform simultaneous variable selection to generate precise parameter estimates within a limited sample size. Analysis results indicate that cultural affiliation significantly builds the capabilities of sensing, seizing, and reconfiguring resources. A crucial finding from the model selection is a unique role specialization: the reconfiguring capability dominantly determines adaptive performance, while the seizing capability exclusively determines study-life balance. This study concludes that local culture serves as a vital foundation for developing modern self-management competencies, in which mental flexibility is the key to academic achievement and decisiveness is the determinant of life well-being.
