Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk peserta didik SMA kelas XI pada materi asam basa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall yang meliputi (1) research and information collecting (2) planning, (3) develop preliminary form of the product, (4)preliminary field testing, (5)main product revision, (6)main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, (9) final product revision, (10) dissemination and distribution. Penerapan LKPD dilakukan di SMAN 3 Banda Aceh dan SMA Inshafuddin Banda Aceh yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Kelayakan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari dua kelayakan yaitu secara teoritis dan empiris. Kelayakan secara teoritis melalui validasi ahli dan kelayakan empiris melalui uji keterbacaan terhadap bahan ajar LKPD. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli yang mencakup aspek materi, konstruksi/penyajian, dan bahasa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aspek kelayakan materi sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat valid, konstruksi/penyajian sebesar 98% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan aspek bahasa sebesar 70% dengan kategori valid, dengan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 86,67% dengan kategori sangat valid. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan secara teoritis dan empiris dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas bagi peserta didik SMA kelas XI pada materi asam basa.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the feasibility of the steps for developing integrated science teaching materials with verses from the Qur'an using a problem based learning model. This research was conducted with expert validation, as well as teachers and students at several schools in Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques were obtained from the validation results of experts, teachers and student responses, which were obtained from a questionnaire instrument in the form of a Likert scale. Based on the results obtained, expert validation obtained an average value for the material indicator of 3.49 in the very good category, for the readability indicator an average value of 3.61 was obtained in the very good category and for the presentation indicator an average value of 3.79 was obtained. also in the very good category. Meanwhile, for teacher validation, the material indicator obtained an average value of 3.89, this means it can be categorised as very good, while for the readability indicator, an average value of 3.85 was obtained in the very good category, and for the presentation indicator, an average value of 3 was obtained. 92 is also in the very good category, and the student response value is 89.6, meaning that students have a very positive response regarding this teaching material. So this shows that the use of integrated teaching materials with Al-Qur'an verses with models is very good for use in science learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang menarik merupakan pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong peserta didik belajar aktif dan mandiri. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berkembang saat ini, salah satunya adalah dengan memanfaatkan media audio visual berbasis discovery learning sebagai strategi untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tanggapan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran yang cocok untuk berbagai proses pembelajaran yang pernah dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem organ. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Pertanyaan yang diberikan pada kuisioner ini berkaitan dengan pendapat peserta didik tentang media audio visual yang berbasis discovery learning. Penelitian dilakukan di MTsN Tungkop Kecamatan Darussalam, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik yang berjumlah 273 peserta didik di kelas VII. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampling purposive, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu sebanyak dua kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik 78 orang. Hasil pembagaian kuisioner telah dianalisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan media audio visual yang digunakan pada materi organ dan organisme mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik rata-rata sebesar 97,90%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual berbasis discovery learning mempengaruhi minat dan motivasi peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) berbasis multiple intellengences dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan visual-spasial pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Sawang. Metode penelitian ini berupa kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara pusposive serta pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kecerdasan visual-spasial setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis multiple intellengences. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t untuk memperoleh nilai N-gain kecerdasan visual-spasial antara kedua kelas. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen dengan perolehan t-hitung>t-tabel (5.82>2.010) yang artinya terjadi perbedaan kecerdasan visual-spasial yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. N-gain rata-rata kecerdasan visual-spasial kedua kelas termasuk dalam kategori sedang, eksperimen sebesar 0.637 (63.7%) dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0.487 (48.7%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan LKS berbasis multiple intellegences dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan visual-spasial siswa.

Abstract

In initial observations in class IV at SDN 3 Langsa, it was found that there were still many students who had difficulty understanding the matter and their changes material and they needed supporting digital teaching materials. Hence, this article aims to develop an interactive LKPD with the help of Live worksheets on the matter and their changes material. The development of the LKPD is carried out through four stages of the Thiagarajan or 4D model. At the define stage, reasons were found related to the need to develop interactive LKPD assisted by Live worksheets which provide learning assistance in the form of attractive visuals, experiment-based, and the use of digital technology. At the design stage, an interactive LKPD was designed with the help of Live worksheets on matter and their changes material in softcopy form. At the develop stage, validation is carried out with material experts, digital teaching materials experts and linguistic experts. In the first validation, an average score of 72.59% was obtained in the valid category and the product had to be improved according to the validator's suggestions, while the average score in the second validation was 92.42% in the very valid category so that the interactive LKPD was assisted by Live worksheets on matter and their changes material are well worth sharing. At the disseminate stage, the product is implemented and distributed in class IV of state elementary schools. This article also suggests that educators use LKPD according to the characteristics of the students and the characteristics of the subject so that effective and enjoyable learning can be carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is for investigating whether constructive character-based problem solving can enhance students learning in physics subject. This study utilized quasi experiment by research design was equivalent control group design. The sample of this study was 28 students of grade IX which were divided into two groups. The first group was experimental class with 14 students who receive constructive character-based problem-solving learning. The second group was experimental class with 14 students who receive conventional learning with constructive character. The results obtained that based on students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class, the percentage value is 88.4% higher than the control class which is only 56.9%. Meanwhile for the constructivist character in the experimental class is also higher by 80% and in the control class by 68.5%. For the value of hypothesis test which has been conducted is obtained the tcount value is 2.247 > ttable 1.67. This means that problem solving learning based on constructivist characters has an impact on students learning outcomes in physics subject. With the result that it can be concluded that problem solving learning based on constructivist character is more effective to be implemented for enhancing students learning outcomes in physic subject.

Abstract

The inquiry-based learning model has been widely recognized for itseffectiveness in enhancing students' science generic skills, particularly in thecontext of chemistry education. This study explores the impact of applying theinquiry learning model on the development of students' generic science skills,specifically in the topic of electrolyte solutions. The research aims to assesshow inquiry-based teaching methods can improve students' abilities inproblem-solving, critical thinking, and practical application of scientificconcepts. The study involved a quasi-experimental design with pre-test andpost-test assessments to measure the students' progress. The results indicate asignificant improvement in the students' generic science skills, suggesting thatthe inquiry model fosters active engagement, deeper understanding, andenhanced scientific inquiry abilities. These findings highlight the potential ofinquiry-based learning as a strategy for improving chemistry education,particularly in topics that require conceptual and practical mastery such aselectrolyte solutions.

Abstract

Comics are one of the teaching materials developed as a tool in the learning process according to a particular topic or material. Therefore, as prospective teachers, students must be able to design and develop teaching materials in the form of comics and apply them in learning in elementary school according to the expected learning objectives. This study aims to see the effectiveness of students in making learning comics as innovative learning media. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation. The research sample was 4th-semester Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students. The results of the content validity test, language, presentation, and graphics were in the valid category. Presentation and discussion skills, as well as student activities based on the results of observations, were stated to be good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of inquiry-based learning student worksheets (LKS) in improving students' critical thinking skills on buffer solutions. One student from a class of 27 in grade XI at SMAN 1 Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia, was selected as the sample for this research, which employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through validated multiple-choice tests. The results indicate that inquiry-based LKS enhances students' critical thinking skills in four key aspects: questioning and answering, observing and evaluating observation reports, making decisions and considering outcomes, and drawing inductions and evaluating inductive conclusions. However, students exhibited relatively weak skills in formulating questions. Inquiry-based learning enables students to actively participate in the learning process, conduct experiments, and solve problems independently. Previous research has shown that inquiry-based learning is effective in developing critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to enhance the understanding of elementary school students at SDN Lamklat, Aceh Besar, regarding fundamental football techniques, including dribbling, kicking, and passing. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach was employed, conducted in two cycles comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The study involved 25 fourth-grade students as participants. Data were collected through skill tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the mastery of basic football techniques. In the first cycle, 65% of students achieved satisfactory mastery with an average class score of 70. By the second cycle, 85% of students reached satisfactory mastery, with an average class score of 85. Practice- and game-based learning effectively boosted students' motivation and skills. Therefore, teaching fundamental football techniques using more interactive and contextual methods positively impacts student abilities. Similar methods are recommended to enhance skills in other sports disciplines.
