Abstract

The implant is a hormonal contraceptive method in the form of a rod with a length of 4 cm which contains the hormone progesterone, the hormone will be released slowly which will work effectively as a contraceptive for 3-5 years, then from the start of use to 1 week it is recommended to use additional contraceptives such as condoms. Just like other hormonal contraceptives, implants can also affect the acceptor's menstrual cycle and can cause weight gain during use, the main side effects are spotting bleeding and amenorhea. (BKKBN, 2015). The implementation of this community service was carried out in the work area of Pasar Simpang Health Center in Simpang, Tanggamus Regency Lampung and was attended by 13 respondents of women of childbearing age. The methods used in this health counseling are lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. In this activity, pre and post tests were also conducted on respondents' understanding of contraceptives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian standar mutu buku teks Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) untuk siswa kelas VIII berdasarkan empat aspek utama, seperti standar materi, penyajian, desain, dan grafis sebagaimana diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 22 Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan menggunakan metode analisis dokumen dan dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer, dan dianalisis dengan teknik triangulasi penyidik, yang memastikan keabsahan data melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Buku teks IPS kelas VIII sangat sesuai dengan standar mutu dari sisi materi; (2) Penyajian isi buku juga sangat sesuai dengan ketentuan standar mutu; (3) Pada aspek desain, terdapat ketidaksesuaian, terutama pada penomoran halaman isi yang tidak selaras dengan daftar isi; dan (4) Dari segi grafika, buku menunjukkan kesesuaian yang sangat baik dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran umum mengenai kualitas buku teks IPS kelas VIII serta menjadi masukan dalam pengembangan buku ajar yang sesuai dengan standar mutu buku.

Abstract

Community service thru the Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to enhance the role of students in supporting community development and empowerment. This article aims to describe the implementation and contribution of the KKN activities in Sungai Kepayang Village, Senyerang District, in the fields of education, religion, health, environment, and community social affairs. The methods used in this service activity are observation and direct participation of students in various work programs designed based on the needs of the village community. The activities carried out include religious teaching such as teaching Quran recitation, Yasinan, and Habshi activities; educational activities such as study guidance, teaching and learning activities (KBM) in schools, and the creation of prayer and intention guides for kindergarten/early childhood education; health and sports activities such as Posyandu and gymnastics; and social and environmental activities in the form of mutual cooperation, anti-bullying seminars, online sports and game tournaments, the creation of public facility signs, herbal gardens, biodegradable waste education boards, and village boundary markers. The results of the activity show an increase in community participation, the strengthening of religious and social values, and an increase in community awareness of health, education, and environmental cleanliness. Thus, the implementation of KKN in Sungai Kepayang Village has a positive impact in supporting village development and strengthening the role of students as agents of change in society.
