Abstract

Real Work Lectures are a comprehensive application in the field of scientific disciplines of the theories they have into a real form of community service. This year, Mataram University is holding a Real Work Lecture program based on the Village Community Empowerment (PMD) method which is aimed at developing a spirit of empathy and concern for problems that occur in society, making the nation's life intelligent, and realizing community welfare. Lantan Village is a village that has potential, one of which is in the tourism sector. However, development activities and utilization of this potential have not been carried out optimally by the community. Therefore, KKN PMD aims to overcome existing problems in villages, especially in utilizing village potential in the tourism sector. The method used in implementing this activity is the participatory method and focus group discussion (FGD) which is applied in (1) structuring tourist locations, (2) organizing village administration, (3) teaching activities and providing literacy corners and (4) lighting installation activities. travel and socialization. The result of this activity is that the camping ground tourist location in Sumberan hamlet is quite well organized. Apart from that, through village administration activities we can provide good services to the community, help improve students' reading and numeracy skills, provide lighting facilities for the Gubuk Makam hamlet community so they feel safe and form community awareness regarding the management of existing village potential. The results of these activities show that these activities can help overcome problems in society related to the development of existing potential.

Abstract

Finding out the different kinds of cohesive devices and how frequently they occur is the goal of this study. The research used qualitative research as a research design. The participants of the study are 6 students in of the senior high school in Karawang who are selected based on the recommendation of the English teacher to collect data. The instruments used in this study were document analysis. The data were then analyzed in accordance to Halliday and Hasan (1976) which cater grammatical cohesion (reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunction), and lexical cohesion (reiteration and collocation). The researcher discovered that lexical cohesiveness is subordinated to grammatical cohesion. Ellipsis and collocation are the only two aspects of the four that belong to grammatical coherence and the two that belong to lexical cohesion that are absent from the students' narrative texts. With 39 appearances, conjunction is a dominant word in student narrative texts. While the reference in the second position requires 20 appearances, the replacement plays the final three appearances. Conversely, lexical cohesiveness makes a total of six occasions. The most common appearances are repetitions, with six and There are no collocations in the pupils' narrative text.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price, service, and safety on the level of satisfaction of FMIPA students at Mulawarman University in using online motorcycle taxi services (Gojek). This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). A sample of 100 students was obtained through accidental sampling. The variables studied include price, service, safety, and customer satisfaction, each measured by several indicators. The analysis results indicate that the three independent variables (price, service, and safety) have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with safety being the most dominant factor. The R-square value of 0.669 indicates that the model explains 66.9% of the variability in student satisfaction. Validity and reliability tests show that all constructs meet the model's validity criteria. This study suggests that online ride-hailing service providers should prioritize safety aspects, accompanied by improvements in service quality and reasonable price adjustments to enhance user satisfaction.
