Abstract

This research was conducted in Februari 2016 in mangrove forest area the Marine Station University of Riau, Dumai. The aim of study was to find out the distribution of bacteria Vibrio sp. from Sipetang which sampled from mangrove forest area the Marine Station University of Riau, Dumai. Determination of sampling point is done by using purposive sampling methods. Sampling points was set into three sampling points. The results of this research was the bacteria vibrio found in sipetang and sediment, therefore bacteria vibrio morphological and biochemical test. Distribution of vibrio bacteria were highest in sampling points III (1,154 x 109), while the lowest was in the sampling point II (5,25 x 105). Vibrio sp. bacteria contained in sipetang and sediment in mangrove forest areas in riau university Marine Station University of Riau, dumai, bacteria in this region might be Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio parahaemolyticus.   Keywords: Sipetang, Bacteria, Vibrio sp., Mangrove, Dumai.

Abstract

Informan penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu menetapkan responden dengan teknik acak berdasarkan homogenitas informan dan menurut kriteria tertentu. Untuk melengkapi data penelitian, maka ditetapkan informan penelitian terdiri dari dua unsur yaitu dari unsur pemerintah dan unsur masyarakat sebanyak 5 orang antara lain:Unsur pemerintah terdiri dari Camat Palangga dan Sekretaris Camat Palangga dan Unsur Staf terdiri dari 3 orang pegawai.Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Variabel pemberian motivasi memiliki dimensi sebagai berikut: motivasi langsung pegawai langsung mempersiapkan kelengkapan pekerjaan yang akan digunakan agar hasil kerja yang dicapai dapat maksimal dan motivasi tidak langsung Terlihat pada saat tiba di kantor, pegawai langsung mempersiapkan kelengkapan pekerjaan yang akan digunakan agar hasil kerja yang dicapai cukup maksimal.; Variabel Produktifitas Kerja memiliki dimensi sebagai berikut: Dimensi kualitas kerja terkadang melaksanakan pekerjaan yang tidak sesuai dengan yang diperintahkan sebab kurangnya kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh pegawai sehingga pekerjaan dilakukan dengan kurang optimal.Dimensi ketepatan waktu sudah memiliki ketepatan dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan kantor dengan pembenaan disiplin terhadap atasannya dan mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan.Dimensi inisiatif sebagian pegawai cukup mampu menyadari kesalahan yang dibuat seperti kesalahan dalam pengetikan, pemanfaatan waktu kerja yang kurang efisien dan memperbaiki kesalahan yang dibuat sehingga pekerjaan yang dilakukan mempunyai hasil yang optimal.Dimensi kemampuan tercermin dari kemampuan kerja, dimana pegawai mampu melaksanakan berbagai pekerjaan yang ada di desa dengan baik. Dimensi komunikasi menyatakan Camat Palangga mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik kepada masyarakat yang memiliki usia yang lebih tua ataupun yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT, this type of research is correlational is a peneltiian to determine the degree of correlation between the different variables. Population in this research is class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, which amounted to 18 people. Selection of samples using total sampling technique thus the sample in this research is class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi is 18 people. Analysis of data using correlation and regression analysis. Before testing the hypothesis to test hypotheses and analysis requirements for linearity test regression line by F test using significance level of 5%. Obtained Fhitung = 0.83> Ftabel = 4:41, and the regression equation is Y = 16.75 + 0.83x. Furthermore, to examine the mean correlation between variables X and Y then tested the significance of significance by using the formula t test. From the results of the calculation are known with a value of 0572 while the count r t = 2.79, while table = 1,746. Thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that "the presence of a significant relationship between LariI 60 Meter with Long Jump Ability Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi" acceptable.Keywords : Run 60 meters, Long Jump

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup rajungan yang diberi pakan buatan dengan  sumber protein yang berbeda (tepung ikan (TI), tepung kepala udang (TKU), dan tepung  keong bakau (TKB). Tiga jenis pakan buatan dengan perbedaan persentasi sumber protein yaitu 26% TI + 20% TKU + 20% (Perlakuan A); 20 % TI +26% TKU + 20% TKB (Perlakuan B) dan 20% TI +20% TKU + 26% TKB (Perlakuan C) diujikan pada 24 ekor rajungan (bobot awal ± 30-54 g) yang dipelihara pada kantung jaring apung. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 60 hari dengan frekuensi pemberian pakan sebanyak 2 kali sehari yaitu pada jam 5 sore dan jam 10 malam. Parameter yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, panjang dan lebar karapaks serta tingkat kelangsungan hidup rajungan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  nilai rata-rata pertumbuhan bobot mutlak  rajungan berkisar antara 5,91-17,11 g.  Pertumbuhan panjang karapaks rajungan  berkisar antara 0,37-0,52 cm dan lebar karapaks sebesar 0,32 cm. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup rajungan pada semua perlakuan adalah 100%.  Hasil analisa anova menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi sumber protein TI, TKU dan TKB dalam pakan bautan  memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik, tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap panjang dan lebar karapaks serta tingkat kelangsungan hidup rajungan.Kata kunci: Kombinasi sumber protein, pakan buatan, pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup rajungan

Abstract

Social Security employment is one of the government's programs to protect Indonesian workers because this is the mandate of Article 28H paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution, after which the government established Law No. 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System and Law No. 24 of 2004 concerning the Social Security Organizing Agency. The regulations mentioned are an active form of the state to protect its people, one of which is from the labor sector. The authors took a study based on some of these rules by taking the title of the analysis of social security participation in employment for micro and small businesses. The formulation of this research problem is 1) what employment social security programs have been followed by job providers in micro and small businesses 2) What factors are the obstacles for job providers in micro and small businesses in participating in the employment social security program. This research is exploratory with a qualitative approach with research objects in small and small businesses, the use of data using primary and secondary data sources. The large number of participants who do not know and participate in BPJS Employment is an obstacle to the lack of participation of BPJS Employment.

Abstract

Pengembangan model supervisi akademik menggunakan platform Madrasah Smart Digital adalah suatu model supervisi akademik dengan menggunakan aplikasi berbasis internet. Tujuannya adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik menggunakan platform Madrasah Smart Digital. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Supervisi akademik yang dilakukan pengawas madrasah saat ini ditemukan tantangan yaitu komunikasi guru dan pengawas hanya terbatas pada kunjungan pengawas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan Model supervisi akademik menggunakan platform Madrasah Smart Digital belum optimal. Hal ini disebabkan perbedaan kurikulum yang diterapkan di madrasah dan di aplikasi Madrasah Smart Digital. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Penggunaan platform Madrasah Smart Digital dinilai efektif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi TIK guru; (2) Model supervisi akademik menggunakan platform Madrasah Smart Digital menjadi rekomendasi bagi pengawas madrasah dalam melakukan supervisi akademik dan sebagai media komunikasi dan pembinaan guru berbasis online; (3) model supervisi akademik menggunakan platform Madrasah Smart Digital membutuhkan dukungan koneksi internet dan gawai yang memadai sehingga dibutuhkan support untuk madrasah yang masih memiliki sarana pendukung yang terbatas.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced food technology has resulted in various new food product innovations, one example of which is edible film. Edible films can be made from polysaccharides such as kappa carrageenan with the addition of sorbitol and glucose plasticizers to improve their physical characteristics. This research aims to determine the effect of adding glucose on the physical properties of edible film from kappa carrageenan and sorbitol plasticizer. The research carried out was experimental using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. Treatment consisted of glucose concentrations of 0%, 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5%. Data analysis used ANOVA, then continued with the DMRT test. The research results prove that glucose has a significant effect (p<0.05) on the physical characteristics of edible film. Optimal results were found at a glucose concentration of 0.5%, with a thickness value of 0.0972 mm, water vapor transmission rate of 3.319 g/m2/day, tensile strength of 3.2648 MPa, and elongation of 22.34%.

Abstract

Turmeric as a natural dye contains curcuminoids which are beneficial for the body and have the potential to be applied in food stuffs such as in amplang. Milkfish amplang (Chanos chanos) is a snack made from typical Indonesian fish which is quite popular in society. This study used experimental laboratory research methods which aimed to determine the effect of adding the amount of turmeric (Curcuma domestica) on the level of consumer acceptance of the chemical and organoleptic characteristics of milkfish amplang. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely the addition of turmeric to the production of milkfish amplang consisting of four treatments and three repetitions. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the treatments (p<0.05), the highest nutritional value was found in milkfish amplang with the addition of 0.5 g of turmeric with an average value of water content (2.64%), ash content (1.75%), protein content (10.54%), fat content (7.51%), and carbohydrate content (77.53%). Organoleptic test results showed that the best treatment was the addition of 0.5 g turmeric with average values for color (8.60), smell (8.40), taste (8.53), and texture (8.80).

Abstract

Seaweed has been identified to increase endurance, anti-cancer, prevent premature aging, maintain skin smoothness. The potential for developing kombucha tea is very large in Indonesia, because until now there is no industry that produces and sells kombucha tea widely. Kombucha is an herbal product in the form of a drink which is the result of a symbiosis of bacteria and yeast containing a number of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and organic acids. Kombucha tea is also beneficial for health, namely as an antioxidant, antibacterial, improving intestinal microflora, increasing body resistance and lowering blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sugar concentration on the physical and chemical characteristics of Gracilaria verrucosa seaweed kombucha tea. The study was carried out using a one factorial completely randomized design. The treatment of sugar concentration was 9%, 10%, 11% and 12%. The results showed that with the addition of the higher sugar concentration, the higher the viscosity and alcohol content, while the pH value and vitamin C content were inversely proportional to the added sugar concentration.The optimal treatment was found at a sugar concentration of 9% because it had viscosity and pH values that were not much different from P0 as comparison data, and had the highest vitamin C content and the lowest alcohol content.

Abstract

Fish meatballs are processed fishery products that use minced fish meat or surimi of at least 40% mixed with flour, and other ingredients if needed, which undergo formation and cooking. In general, fish meat used is for example snapper, grouper and mackerel. This study aims to determine the detection of Salmonella sp. bacteria, fish balls sold in several traditional markets in the city of Surabaya and the calculation of Total Plate Count of processed fish balls circulating in several traditional markets in Surabaya. The research method used is a direct survey for sampling. The sampling location of fish balls was done intentionally or purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data to determine the Total Plate Count of Salmonella sp. bacteria in fish balls in several traditional markets in Surabaya, which is displayedin tabular form. The results showed that the detection of Salmonella sp. bacteria was positive in two samples out of a total of 10 samples. The results of the Total Plate Count (TPC) test for Salmonella sp. in the two different samples in the same area of West Surabaya, it was 2x105 CFU/gr for the first sample and 1x103 CFU/gr for the second sample.
