Abstract

One of the reasons for the increase in child abuse in recent years is the actions of those closest to the child, including one or both of their parents. Parents who commit such violence are triggered by several factors, including lack of insight into married life and not getting satisfaction in their marriage. This study aims to describe how premarital counseling can promote marriage satisfaction and anticipating potential child abuse. This study uses literature research with a descriptive approach. This research concerns with systematic and scientific collection of library sources which include books, scientific journals, and related research findings, then analyzed descriptively so as to achieve the research objectives. The results of the discussion show that in premarital counseling, the materials are provided comprehensively which includes the Law on Domestic Violence. Child Protection Law, Munakahat Law, Implementation of Family Functions in Child Protection, Caring for Love in the Family and Conflict Management in the Family as recommended by the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance Regulation Number 542 of 2013. By understanding comprehensively and applying such recommended points, prospective partner can achieve their marriage satisfaction and minimize potential child abuse.

Abstract

This paper departs from an initial research survey conducted at several primary schools in Tanah Datar Regency where class teachers were less able to function as guidance and counseling teachers in addition to being class teachers. This is due to a lack of teacher knowledge related to guidance and counseling services in primary schools. Furthermore, lecturers at the university also do not teach the tools of guidance and counseling services. This research aims to identify the problems of class teachers in dealing with guidance and counseling services and developing RPS guideline and counseling in the PGMI IAIN Batusangkar department. The research was conducted using research and development methods and used the four-D model, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The instruments used are open numbers and validation sheets. The research findings are that the RPS BK design for the PGMI IAIN Batusangkar department was declared to have met the valid criteria with a percentage of 77.5%, and based on limited trials with 5th semester PGMI students, the percentage was 76% in the valid category.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal dalam mengenalkan kosakata bahasa Inggris kepada anak-anak melalui metode bernyanyi di Rumah Tahfizh Markazul Qur'an Kenagariani Panyalaian. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan. Subjek pelatihan adalah siswa rumah tahfizh. Langkah-langkah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi perencanaan program, kolaborasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa metode ini membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan bahasa Inggris anak-anak mereka dengan cara yang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif. Metode bernyanyi mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan memotivasi siswa untuk berpartisipasi lebih aktif. Kesimpulannya, penerapan metode bernyanyi dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk menambah kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa.

Abstract

Tantangan konselor di antaranya adalah melakukan inovasi layanan konseling sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi serta tuntutan kebutuhan konseli. Salah satu strategi untuk inovasi dalam pelayanan konseling adalah melalui pelayanan konseling berbasis riset. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan konselor sekolah dalam mengelola layanan konseling berbasis riset. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan pengebdian ini adalah pembelajaran terbimbing dan project-based learning (PjBL). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil pengabdian adalah kuesioner. Data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dan kegiatan pengabdian ini dirasakan sangat menarik dan bermanfaat untuk inovasi layanan serta peningkatan kinerja konselor, seluruh peserta menyatakan terbantu dalam mengidentifikasi masalah, peserta terbantu dalam memilih pendekatan atau Teknik layanan konseling yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan tujuan layanan konseling. Sebagian kecil peserta masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan manajemen referensi dalam menulis, mereka lebih suka menulis dan mengutip secara manual. Peserta memiliki pengalaman dalam merancang RPL berbasis riset, berpengalaman memilih metode penelitian dan pendekatan konseling yang mendukung tujuan riset, berpengalaman dalam merancang instrumen evaluasi dan berpengalaman menulis artikel hasil pelayanan konseling berbasis riset.

Abstract

Toxic positivity, the pressure to always think positively and deny negative emotions, is now emerging even in elementary school-aged children. This phenomenon may hinder emotional health and communication openness. This study aims to develop a classical guidance module grounded in religious moderation to reduce toxic positivity among elementary students. This study uses a 4-D model development research approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). However, this research only reached the development stage. The study was conducted at SDN 01 Lima Kaum, Tanah Datar, with a sample of 39 students from the fifth and sixth grades, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews and were subsequently analysed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that 51% of students experienced toxic positivity in the high to very high category. The developed module was validated by experts, achieving a validity score of 76% (categorised as "valid"). It was subsequently revised in response to validator input on language simplification, the addition of contextual examples, and the integration of religious moderation values. These findings demonstrate the urgency of early intervention grounded in moderate religious values to foster healthy emotional literacy in children. Consequently, this module guides classroom teachers to achieve balance and address negative emotions to support students' mental health.
