Abstract

The main problem in this research focuses on the distribution of levels in the Cognitive domain in the end-of-semester exam questions for class X Indonesian Language at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The final even semester test questions for the Indonesian Language subject are used as research data as analysis material to determine the distribution of levels in the Cognitive domain in the questions. This research uses learning evaluation theory according to the views of Slameto (2001) as a reference to determine the distribution of levels in the Cognitive domain in the questions. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique in this research uses a collection technique with research data documents which are analyzed and described to obtain research results. The results of this research show that of the 30 question numbers analyzed, it was found that 1 question was at cognitive level C1 (3%), C2 had 18 questions (60%), C3 had 3 questions (10%), C4 had 1 7 questions (24%), C5 amounted to 1 question item (3%) and C6 cognitive level was not distributed in the final semester assessment questions. Based on the analysis results obtained, it can be concluded that these questions are not suitable to be used as test questions and must be revised.

Abstract

This thesis written by Lidwina Mariana Topo with the title “The Ability to Convert Foklore Texts Into Drama Script by Class XI Language SMAN 1 Taebenu Baumata Kupang”. Supervisior by Dr. Marselus Robot, M.Si. and Dra. Karus M. Margareta, M.Pd. The main problem in this research is how is the ability of class XI Language SMAN 1 Taebenu Kupang Baumata Kupang students in converting folklore text into a drama script? The purpose of this research is to datermince the students’ ability in converting a folk tale text into a drama script. In this research, the reseacher conducted a performance test on students of class XI Language SMAN 1 Taebenu Baumata Kupang, as research subjects with a total of 19 research subjects.Reseachers will collect data which will then be analyzed based on the aspect of the assessment of drama script. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive, because the data collected will be analyzed as a category of words not numbers. The result showed: (1) Students skills in converting folklore texts into drama scripts There are 9 or 47% of students successful obtainingcompleteness when converting a drama script from a folk tale; (2) Then the average ability ofclass Language SMAN 1 Taebenu Baumata Kupang is 62,8. Thus, it can be concluded that theability to convert folklore texts into drama scripts in class Language SMAN 1 Taebenu Baumata Kupang is still in the poor category and still needs a lot of practice to be able to writw/convert, especially writing a drama script.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya referensi pembelajaran yang digunakan siswa Kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang dalam menulis pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang dengan menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis Canva. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 36 siswa SMA Negeri 5 Kupang kelas XB tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan tes yang semuanya dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil penilaian siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu masing-masing mencapai 75%, 90% dan 95% yang melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) dengan nilai 88; (2) guru sudah menunjukkan peningkatan dalam membuat bahan ajar terbuka interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva; dan (3) siswa memiliki respon positif ketika menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif karena lebih mudah dipahami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Hasil penilaian siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu 75%, 90%, 95% dan melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Sasaran Pembelajaran (KKTP) dengan nilai 88; (2) Telah terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis aplikasi Canva; (3) Siswa memberikan respon positif ketika menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif karena lebih mudah dipahami, menarik, serta dapat digunakan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis Canva mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to improve students' ability to learn and read through the use of the educational game media Wordwall in the XB class of SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. Initial observations show that the monotonous and non-interactive Indonesian language learning method causes students to be less interested and active. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was used, which consists of four phases: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The research was conducted in three cycles, and each cycle involved various efforts to improve the learning process. The research results showed that students improved their reading skills and their learning engagement after using Wordwall media. The results of observations and interviews show that students are more interested and involved in learning, and the formative assessment scores increase. Therefore, students at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang improve their reading and learning skills by using Wordwall media. Abstract

This research was conducted in class V SDI Oeba 1 to improve the learning outcomes of students' speaking skills through the application of the Project Based Learning model. This is because there is a problem that the learning outcomes of students' speaking skills are still low so a learning model is needed. This type of research is classroom action research with the research subjects consisting of 22 students. The data collection used observation techniques, test techniques, and documentation. The results showed that after learning by applying the Project Based Learning model, the average achievement of learning completeness of class V students amounted to 45,45% (10 people who were complete) in cycle I and 86,36% (19 people who were complete). It can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of speaking skills of fifth-grade students of SDI Oeba 1.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' ability to listen to stories in learning using the storytelling method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with stages namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. This research was located at SD Negeri Oebobo 2, Kupang City, with the research subjects being all 25 class V students at SD Negeri Oebobo 2, Kupang City. The data collection techniques used by researchers in conducting research include observation techniques, tests, and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that students' listening abilities through the use of the storytelling method have improved significantly. This can be proven by the average achievement of learning completeness for class V students, totaling 25 people, namely in cycle I the percentage of completeness was 72% (18 people completed), and in cycle II the percentage of completion was 100% (25 people completed). This increase in students' listening skills can be seen from the increase in the average score on the evaluation test. Another increase that occurred was in student activity in class which was assessed using the observation sheet provided by the researcher. Thus, from the results of the research above, researchers can conclude that using the storytelling method can improve students' listening skills

Abstract

This study is entitied “Ability of Class VIIA Students of SMP Negeri 5 Kota Kupang in Writing Procedur Texts Based on Video Observation Results”. This study aims to analyze and describe the ability of class VIIA students of SMP Negeri 5 Kota Kupang in writing procedur texts based on video observation results. The theory used in this study is the Theory of Writing. The method used in this study is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this study using the observation technique. Based on the data and resarch result s that have been obtained, it can be concluded that class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 5 Kota Kupang are be able to write procedur texts based on the results of video observation “How to Make Soap from Aloe Vera”. The achievement can be seen from the scores obtained by student, namely students who are able to number 22 people with a percentage of 78.6% and students who are not able to number 6 people with a percentage of 21.4%.

Writing Ability of Descriptive Text of Class VII A Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang. The problem raised in this study is How is the Writing Ability of Descriptive Text of Class VII A Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang?. The purpose of this study is to describe the Writing Ability of Descriptive Text of Class VII A Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang. The theory used is constructivism and writing theory. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this study is the test technique. The data analysis technique in this study is reading students' descriptive texts, identifying descriptive texts according to the structure and language rules, analyzing student data by scoring, and concluding the results of the data analysis. The results of the study showed that, class VII A students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang were able to write descriptive texts well based on the structure and language rules of descriptive texts. Text structure with a percentage of students who completed 78.6% and a percentage of students who did not complete 21.4%. Language rules with a percentage of students who completed 64.9% and a percentage of students who did not complete 35.1%. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang are categorized as capable of writing descriptive texts. This shows that there are students who produce descriptive texts very well and there are also students who do not produce descriptive texts well. This shows the level of ability of students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang in writing descriptive texts in accordance with the structure and language rules of descriptive texts are able to achieve the KKTP score standard of 75.

Abstract

The focus of this research is "How is the role of teachers in developing dialogue skills for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang through the use of role-playing methods. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the role of teachers in developing dialogue skills of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang through the use of role-playing methods. The theory used is Information Processing Theory, because what is measured in this study is the role of a teacher in developing dialogue skills with students. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. In this study, the researcher selected material dialogue skills using a role-playing method in accordance with of the Independent Curriculum found Revition Edition grade VII in the odd semester phase D 7.3.1 Conveying ideas, thoughts, views, directions, or messages for the purpose of proposing, solving problems, and providing solutions orally in the form of monologues and dialogues logically, ,critical, and creatively. The Role-Playing method is a method used in language learning, especially learning dialogue skills. Based on the results of the analysis conducted on only teachers Indonesia Language and 24 students in grades VII-C of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang, the role of teachers in developing dialogue skills of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Kupang through the use of role-playing methods can be said to be ineffective. These results can be seen from the percentage success rate of 64.58% of students who are unable to dialogue using the role-playing method, namely the achievement of scores ranging from 70-100. Students who are said to have completed or exceeded the KKM amounted to 8 people with a percentage of 33.33%, while students who did not complete amounted to 16 people with a percentage of 66.66%.

Abstract

This study is entitled “The Ability to Write Slogans Among Eighth Grade K Students of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang”. The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of eighth grade K students at SMP Negeri 10 Kupang in writing slogans. The theoretical framework used in this study includes writing theory and constructivist learning theory. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, testing/evaluation, and documentation study. Based on the research conducted on February 24, 2025, involving 27 students from class VIII-K of SMP Negeri 10 Kupang, it was found that the majority of students were able to write slogans well. Of the total, 25 students (92.6%) achieved scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP), which is ≥75, while only 2 students (7.4%) did not meet the criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that the slogan writing ability of class VIII-K students is categorized as very good, as most students met or exceeded the school’s minimum passing score (≥75). These results indicate that, in general, class VIII-K students are highly capable of writing slogans that align with the assessment criteria, including diction usage, sentence structure, and relevance to the theme.
