Abstract

This study seeks to map research related to cash waqf in Indonesia published by Dimensions indexed journals from 2008 to 2023. NVivo 12 Plus was used to conduct a thematic review and frequency was used to evaluate 208 publications in the scientific literature. The results found that the number of publications fluctuated from year to year related to cash waqf research in Indonesia, indicating that this topic is an interesting topic and should continue to be developed. In addition, various focuses of discussion and cluster analysis that describe the research path in cash waqf research in Indonesia include Cash Waqf Institution in Indonesia, Cash Waqf in Indonesia and Cash Waqf Model in Indonesia. This research can be used as a starting point for experts to build graphic visualizations of cash waqf research patterns in Indonesia in published scientific research.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the productivity of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia using the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) method with the research period 2010-2019. The research objects used are 23 Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. The data of this study comes from the annual financial statements of each bank from the period 2010-2019. The input variables in this study are employee costs, administrative costs and third-party funds. And for the output variable is financing and operating income. The results of this study explain that during the period 2010-2019, the productivity level of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia has a fluctuating trend from year to year. Based on the average TFPCH score, it is concluded that the productivity of Islamic banks shows no increase in productivity or constant and technological change has not contributed optimally to the increase in productivity of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. Furthermore, analyzing individually on Islamic Banks in Indonesia and Malaysia, it is found that there are 8 Islamic Banks with increased productivity, one Islamic bank in Malaysia and seven Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results also highlighted that the productivity level of Islamic banks in Indonesia is relatively better than Islamic banks in Malaysia. Then, the Malmquist Index quadrant analysis found that Islamic Banks in Indonesia and Malaysia dominate in quadrant 3 with a total of 12 Islamic Banks, followed by quadrant 4 with a total of 7 Islamic banks, and quadrant 1 with a total of 4 Islamic banks.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of research on the topic of "Fintech Innovation" and research plans that can be carried out based on journals published on the theme. This research uses an qualitative method with a bibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Fintech Innovation" which comes from the Dimension database with a total of 3094 journal articles. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the bibliometric map of "Fintech Innovation" research development in the world. The results of the study found that in bibliometric author mapping the authors who published the most research with the theme "Fintech Innovation" were Rabbani, Mustafa Raza; Wonglimpiyarat, Jarunee; Peng, Kuan-Jung; and Mohammed, Qmichchou. Furthermore, based on bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 4 clusters with the most used words including sharia bank, financial inclusion, application, factor, adoption, country, effect, challenge, financial institution, regulation, and performance. Then, the research path topics related to Fintech Innovation are Collaboration Between Fintech Startups and Traditional Banks, Mechanisms of Green Innovation in the Fintech Sector, Value and Complexity in Fintech Application Use, and Islamic Fintech's Role in Pandemic-Era Financial Solutions.

Abstract

Mosques play an important role in the social structure of Muslim communities. Mosque functions are not only limited to religious functions, but also play an important role in addressing various social problems faced by the community as well as environmental issues, such as raising awareness and knowledge related to environmental cleanliness, energy resources, and waste management, where these roles are integrated with Islamic principles. The purpose of this study is to see the development of research on the topic of "Mosque and Environment" and research plans that can be carried out based on journals published on the theme. This research uses a qualitative method with a bibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data derived from the Scopus database with a total of 539 journal articles and the keywords used in data retrieval are "Mosque and Environment". Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the bibliometric map of research development "Mosque and Environment". The results of the study found that in bibliometric author mapping, the authors who published the most research on the theme "Mosque and Environment" were Yüksel A.; Arici M.; Krajčík M.; Mortada H.A.; Baleha M.; Kuppinger P.; Oparin, D.; Sert F.Y.; Karaman Ö. Y.; and Barik R.K.Furthermore, based on bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 4 clusters with dominating words, namely building, system, strategy, use, mosque, person, culture, and element. Furthermore, the topics of research lines related to Mosque and Environment are Energy consumption strategies in mosque buildings, Effects of mosque-based environmental knowledge programs, Societal relations and mosque environmental impact, and Muslim community responses to mosque environmental issues.

Abstract

This bibliometric research was conducted to provide a more in-depth picture of the "Islamic Empowerment Model" by analyzing a number of relevant articles that have been published in the Dimensions database. A total of 233 imlia publication documents in the period 2022-2023 became the object of this research. Using bibliometric analysis methods with the help of Biblioshiny-R software, this study seeks to reveal publication trends over time, identify the most prolific authors in this field, explore journals that have a significant impact in related literature, and reveal the main themes that consistently appear in these scientific works. The results show that the number of publications has increased significantly since 2016, reaching a maximum of 52 publications in 2021 and 2022. 2011 was the year with the highest average number of citations throughout the observation period. The Journal of Social Science Research, is the top publishing journal. There are several authors associated with this journal, such as Huda N, Alhifni A, and Ahwarumi B. The next important finding is that there are 3 research clusters including, Islamic empowerment models through Islamic financial instruments, women's empowerment models in Islam, and Islamic empowerment models through pesantren education. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for various parties, including researchers who want to better understand the development of Islamic empowerment literature, practitioners involved in this field, and academics who want to explore this topic in more depth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the tourism sector on economic growth in 53 OIC member countries. This study uses 4 independent variables namely population, open trade, inflation, and international tourism receipts. The data used is annual panel data from 2010 to 2021, obtained from SESRIC OIC. The analysis method applied in this study is static panel data regression. The results showed that all independent variables, such as population, open trade, inflation, and international tourism receipts, have a significant influence both simultaneously and partially on the economic growth variable (GDP). The tourism sector stimulates other industries through direct, indirect, and induced impacts, contributes to job creation, and causes positive economies of scale. In addition, investments in the tourism sector can positively impact tourism performance indicators such as travel and tourism GDP, international tourism receipts, and international tourist arrivals.

This study attempts to map research related to zakat management in Indonesia published by Scopus indexed journals from 2006 to 2023. NVivo 12 Plus was used to conduct thematic review and frequency was used to evaluate 145 publications in scientific literature. The results found that there is a fluctuating number of publications from year to year related to zakat management research in Indonesia which indicates that this topic is an interesting topic and should continue to be developed. In addition, various focuses of discussion and cluster analysis that describe the research path in zakat management research in Indonesia include Social Justice and Zakat Management in Indonesia, Social Finance and Zakat Management in Indonesia, Effective Zakat Management in Indonesia, and Financial Institutions and Zakat Management in Indonesia. This research can be used as a starting point for experts to build a graphic visualization of zakat management research patterns in Indonesia in published scientific research.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of research on the topic of "Waqf Accounting" and research plans that can be done based on journals published on the theme. This research uses a qualitative method with a bibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Waqf Accounting" which comes from the Scopus database with a total of 40 journal articles. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the bibliometric map of "Waqf Accounting" research development in the world. The results of the study found that in bibliometric author mapping the author who published the most research with the theme "Waqf Accounting" was Gürsoy Ç. Furthermore, based on bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 4 clusters that can be a research path with topics related to Management of Waqf Assets and Waqf Accounting, Waqf Accounting Awareness, Business Impact and Waqf Accounting, and Challenges in Waqf Accounting Reporting. Furthermore, the most used words are waqf institution, accountability, Islamic accounting, waqf accounting, reporting, and technology.

Abstract

This research can be used as a starting point for experts to build graphic visualizations of halal fashion research patterns in Indonesia in published scientific research.
