Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kampung Kalipasir, Kota Lama Tangerang, Provinsi Banten, ialah memfasilitasi pemajuan kebudayaan bagi komunitas setempat dalam mengelola potensi aset pusaka warisan budaya benda dan tak benda, serta mengaktivasi situs bersejarah Masjid Jami Kalipasir yang selama ini masih pasif akibat kurangnya minat, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan teknis warga kampung. Selain itu, diharapkan juga adanya peningkatan pendampingan dan pelibatan masyarakat serta jejaring stakeholder lintas sektor dalam pelestarian kota dan pengembangan destinasi wisata sejarah di Kota Tangerang. Metode pelaksanaan program ini menggunakan prinsip dan konsep praktik spasial (spatial practice) dalam merekayasa aspek fisik dan sosial Kampung Kalipasir, melalui tiga rangkaian aktivitas utama, yaitu diseminasi pengetahuan sejarah dan pusaka Kampung Kalipasir, heritage trail dan tradisi performatif di sekitar situs berupa konstruksi replika perahu dan arakan perahu, serta aktivitas kuratorial dan pameran arsip warga. Kegiatan ini memiliki tema “Festival Sejarah, Budaya, dan Pusaka”, diharapkan menjadi preseden bagi kolaborasi aktif antara komunitas, akademisi, birokrat, hingga media untuk mendukung upaya revitalisasi dan pemanfaatan Cagar Budaya dan Warisan Budaya Tak Benda di Kampung Kalipasir. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa berpikir merancang (design thinking) berkolaborasi dengan ilmu teknik mampu berkontribusi dalam menyukseskan program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis sosial-budaya dan humaniora di situs bersejarah. The aim of community service activities in Kalipasir Village, Kota Lama Tangerang, Banten Province, is to facilitate cultural advancement for the local community in managing potential tangible and intangible cultural heritage assets, as well as activating the historic Kalipasir Jami Mosque site, which has so far remained passive due to lack of interest. , knowledge, and technical skills of village residents. The method of implementing this program uses the principles and concepts of spatial practice in engineering the physical and social aspects of Kalipasir Village through three main series of activities, namely the dissemination of historical knowledge and heritage of Kalipasir Village, heritage trails and performative traditions around the site in the form of boat replica construction, and boat parades, curatorial activities and exhibitions of citizen archives. This activity has the theme "Festival of History, Culture, and Heritage." it is hoped that it will become a precedent for active collaboration between the community, academics, bureaucrats, and the media to support efforts to revitalize and utilize Cultural Heritage and Intangible Cultural Heritage in Kalipasir Village. This activity shows that design thinking in collaboration with engineering can contribute to the success of social-cultural and humanities-based community service programs at historical sites.
