Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of transformational leadership style in Islamic educational institutions. In the context of Islamic educational institutions, the application of this leadership style is expected to improve the quality of education, build a positive work culture, and encourage the holistic development of the potential of students and staff. This research aims to explore the importance of the role of transformational leadership in Islamic educational institutions and its impact on various aspects of operations and learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with this type of literature study research using data collection techniques using several literature studies such as books, scientific journals, and supporting documentation. The results of this research show that transformational leadership is critical in facing contemporary challenges and ensuring that Islamic educational institutions do not only focus on academic achievement but also on developing student character through Islamic values. There are many phenomena that researchers have found in several Islamic educational institutions, for example: many teachers resign every year, they lack motivation and awareness of their duties as teachers or carry out their duties only because of rewards or punishments, and a lack of trust and loyalty towards school institutions. By implementing this transformational leadership style, it provides several positive impacts, the role of the principal is a model, encouraging subordinate performance, harmonizing the work environment, empowering employees, acting based on a value system, continuously improving their abilities, and having the ability to overcome complex situations. So with this research, it is hoped that the results of this research will be that this transformational leadership style can be applied to Islamic educational institutions, that have not yet used this leadership style, especially institutions that have a large number of students, both private and state because the results show that the transformational leadership style is very effectively applied to educational institutions today.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which the concepts, theories, and practices of educational supervision can be developed in a pluralistic society, particularly in the context of Indonesian education. Educational supervision in this context refers to instructional supervision, which is more focused on supporting and facilitating teachers to enhance the quality of instruction in achieving specific goals according to the concept of educational supervision. In Indonesia, the theory and practice of educational supervision face various challenges, given that general education is also conducted by religious-based educational institutions, particularly Islam, which oversees numerous Islamic schools, madrasahs, and pesantren. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach that critiques the implementation of the concepts, theories, and practices of educational science, particularly related to instructional or teaching supervision. The findings indicate that educational supervision in Islamic educational institutions has not yet been effective and efficient, as there remains a gap between the ideal and the reality in the field. Educational theories and the legal aspects of education enshrined in education laws have not been fully implemented properly. The study concludes that the education system must first emphasize the implementation of educational processes such as improving and equalizing the quality of teachers, enhancing learning facilities, libraries, and laboratories. A paradigm shift is necessary, changing the focus from solely academic (hard skills) to also include soft skills and non-academic aspects. The teaching and learning process should be designed to be more engaging, focusing on the improvement of the affective (attitudes) and psychomotor (skills) domains, rather than being limited to the cognitive (knowledge) domain alone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penjaminan mutu terpadu terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan reputasi melalui akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penjaminan mutu terpadu berkontribusi signifikan terhadap akreditasi yang lebih baik, peningkatan kepuasan mahasiswa, serta hasil akademis yang positif. Selain itu, penerapan standar kualitas yang jelas dapat membangun citra positif dan meningkatkan kepercayaan publik. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa akreditasi yang transparan dan responsif terhadap umpan balik dari pemangku kepentingan memperkuat reputasi institusi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi penjaminan mutu dalam strategi pendidikan untuk memperkuat identitas dan daya saing di era globalisasi. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk penerapan praktik terbaik dalam penjaminan mutu pendidikan, sehingga institusi dapat mencapai keunggulan dan relevansi yang lebih besar di masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and implement a holistic and sustainable education strategy to improve the quality of learning, student achievement and school competitiveness in facing global challenges. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to explore the factors that influence the quality of education at SMPN 3 Rogojampi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis involving teachers, students, principals, parents and the community. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, involving reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. Triangulation of sources, methods and time was used to ensure data validity. This research aims to provide a comprehensive picture and strategic recommendations for improving education quality. The results of this study show that improving teachers' competencies, synergy between schools, parents and communities and the integration of character education in the curriculum are the main factors in improving the quality of education at SMPN 3 Rogojampi. Training and workshops for teachers improve the quality of learning with innovative and interesting methods that encourage student motivation. Active collaboration between the school, parents and the community strengthens support for student development. The integration of character education instills moral values that help students not only succeed academically, but also form resilient characters. All these efforts create a conducive and effective learning environment.

Abstract

Education is one means of maintaining the survival of a nation. Quality education produces people who have superior skills and abilities who are able to advance the country. To achieve a goal, implementation is very important. Everyone needs to put their thinking into practice to achieve their goals. Change scan be handled and the legitimacy and function of the organization guaranteed by incorporating this information. Formal education in schools seeks to create unique human beings by encouraging the intellectual growth of students, thereby increasing the general level of intelligence in the country. The aim of this article is to change and provide principles for every teacher to educate students so that students grow more and can know their direction during the learning process. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative design, this method is used to create a picture or describe the implementation of school guiding principles in managing change for students. to collect detailed actual information that describes existing symptoms, identifies existing problems or looks at prevailing conditions and practices. from the results of this research is that teachers To be able to treat children appropriately and help them develop better behavior in the future, teachers must be aware of their initial abilities. Teachers must be able to encourage students to be able to think critically and creatively. the relationship between students' critical thinking and cognitive development. Teachers must adapt learning methods to the different characters of each child and their different abilities. Education can build a person's character and personality to be better in life and relationships as a member of society

Abstract

The phenomenon of adolescent moral decline in the midst of globalization and digitalization poses a significant challenge for Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, particularly tahfidz-based madrasahs. This condition demands the presence of strong Islamic leadership that not only manages administratively but also inspires and nurtures a religious culture within the school environment. This study aims to explore the implementation of Islamic leadership in realizing a religious school culture at Madrasah Aliyah Tahfidz Al Qur'an Al Islami, Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation analysis of religious programs and institutional policies. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation and credibility checks were employed to ensure data validity. The results of this study indicate that the religious school culture at Madrasah Aliyah Tahfidz Al Qur'an Al Islami is strongly shaped through worship habit programs, the principle of deliberation in leadership, and the internalization of Qur'anic values in the curriculum and daily activities. Theoretically, these findings reinforce organizational culture theory and transformational leadership theory, which emphasize the importance of consistency in values, role modeling, and collective participation in shaping individual character. This study also affirms the concept of hidden curriculum and continuous spiritual values-based character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of the development of Islamic Religious Education learning programs at SMP NU, focusing on the approaches applied in curriculum planning, teacher competency development, and the implementation of applicable religious activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to analyze the management of the development of Islamic Religious Education learning programs at SMP NU Al-Islami Pesanggaran. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out by identifying the main themes, such as curriculum planning and teacher competency development. Data validity was maintained through source triangulation and member checks. The results of this study confirm that adaptive and relevant curriculum planning is very important to meet student needs and developments. The curriculum must consider student characteristics and integrate character values in learning. The development of Islamic Religious Education teacher competencies is also a major factor in improving the quality of education, especially through routine training and the application of interactive methods. Continuous evaluation and supervision, including principal supervision and analysis of learning outcomes, play a role in improving the effectiveness of teaching. These findings are in line with constructivism theory and clinical supervision which emphasize active, reflective, and collaboration-based learning. Thus, an adaptive curriculum approach, improving teacher competency, and ongoing evaluation are effective strategies in improving the quality of education as a whole.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the role of marketing management implemented by this madrasah is able to create value for customers and increase their loyalty. Achieving this goal is crucial as educational institutions, particularly faith-based madrasahs, not only compete in academic quality, but also in offering uniqueness and spiritual values that become the main attraction for the local community. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore the role of marketing management in shaping customer value and loyalty. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation analysis. Thematic analysis techniques were chosen to identify key themes, providing an in-depth understanding of the marketing of faith-based education in this madrasah. The results confirm that customer loyalty is formed through responsive educational services, academic and non-academic achievements, and social activities. Responsiveness creates satisfaction, achievement increases trust, and community service strengthens a positive image. The synergy of these three factors strengthens the bond between the madrasah, students, parents and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate in depth the implementation of the quality management system in an effort to improve school accreditation while encouraging academic transformation. to what extent the implemented quality management system has been effective in optimizing the quality of education in the madrasah, especially in meeting higher national accreditation standards. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method to evaluate the implementation of the quality management system in improving accreditation and academic transformation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation study. In-depth interviews provided insights into stakeholders' experiences, while observations enabled understanding of hands-on processes. Documentation helped analyze important documents, such as accreditation reports and strategic planning. Through a combination of these techniques, this study produced comprehensive findings for recommendations on improving the quality management system in schools. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Quality Management System at MA Al-Amiriyyah Banyuwangi still faces significant challenges. Firstly, although the policy is in place, its implementation has not been consistent, especially in assessment and evaluation. Secondly, stakeholder involvement is still limited, so more intense collaboration between internal and external parties is needed. Finally, the utilization of evaluation data to improve the quality of education is not yet optimal. To achieve higher accreditation and better academic transformation, it is necessary to improve the consistent implementation of the Quality Management System, wider stakeholder involvement, and more systematic utilization of evaluation data.

Abstract

Pendidikan memungkinkan generasi untuk menjalani hidup dan mencapai tujuan mereka secara lebih efektif dan efisien. Pendidikan tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa, tetapi juga memberikan nilai-nilai. Pendidikan berfungsi sebagai platform media sosial untuk penyebaran budaya lokal dan transmisi pengetahuan kepada siswa. Meningkatkan tingkat partisipasi pendidikan dan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis di Indonesia. Sebagai elemen penting dari sistem pendidikan nasional. Namun demikian, siswa sering mengalami kurangnya kepercayaan diri dalam mematuhi sistem pendidikan formal yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan selama proses pendidikan. yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang analisis kurikulum sekolah dasar dari perspektif lingkungan sekolah dan sumber referensi. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan tinjauan pustaka, yang juga disebut sebagai penelitian kepustakaan. Melakukan tinjauan pustaka sesuai dengan teori yang telah dibahas di bidang manajemen pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan kebijakan harus dimodifikasi untuk memperhitungkan berbagai faktor yang memfasilitasi implementasi kebijakan yang efektif. Sebelumnya, pendidikan Islam hanya dianggap sebagai materi. Namun, persepsi publik telah berkembang, dan sekarang dianggap sebagai suatu institusi, suatu budaya dan aktivitas, dan suatu sistem.
