The results of this research show that transformational leadership is critical in facing contemporary challenges and ensuring that Islamic educational institutions do not only focus on academic achievement but also on developing student character through Islamic values. There are many phenomena that researchers have found in several Islamic educational institutions, for example: many teachers resign every year, they lack motivation and awareness of their duties as teachers or carry out their duties only because of rewards or punishments, and a lack of trust and loyalty towards school institutions. By implementing this transformational leadership style, it provides several positive impacts, the role of the principal is a model, encouraging subordinate performance, harmonizing the work environment, empowering employees, acting based on a value system, continuously improving their abilities, and having the ability to overcome complex situations. So with this research, it is hoped that the results of this research will be that this transformational leadership style can be applied to Islamic educational institutions, that have not yet used this leadership style, especially institutions that have a large number of students, both private and state because the results show that the transformational leadership style is very effectively applied to educational institutions today.

Abstract

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Power Equalizing Model in educational financial management to improve the efficiency and transparency of fund allocation. By integrating key elements such as stakeholder participation, technology utilization, and innovative economic strategies, this model aims to create a more equitable and accountable system. The study employed a qualitative approach through interviews with educators, educational managers, and technology developers to identify the benefits and challenges of applying the model. Findings indicate that the Power Equalizing Model enhances transparency and accountability in managing education funds. However, issues such as stakeholder coordination and adaptation to technological tools remain obstacles to optimal implementation. The research concludes that integrating participatory and technological innovations is essential to achieving more effective and fair educational financial governance. These insights are expected to contribute to developing more inclusive and sustainable education financial management practices in the future.

Abstract

The transformation of learning through the integration of classical and digital methods is a necessity in responding to the challenges of 21st century education. This study aims to examine the implementation and impact of the blended learning model in the FIP UNESA Education Management Study Program, as well as formulate an ideal integrated learning model. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data was analyzed thematically by linking the findings with education management theory and learning technology. The results show that the use of technology such as LMS, collaborative applications, and interactive media has increased the accessibility and flexibility of student learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, lecturer readiness, and digital literacy gap are still obstacles. The research recommends an interaction-based blended learning model supported by infrastructure support, lecturer capacity building, and varied and relevant digital content, to ensure the quality and sustainability of learning in higher education environments.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates how the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) and transdisciplinary collaboration supports the curriculum restructuring process at the Department of Educational Management, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), in achieving international accreditation standards set by ACQUIN. The abstract clearly and succinctly outlines the process of curriculum reform, emphasizing the systematic stages and quality framework applied. Method: A qualitative descriptive method was applied to explore the institutional strategies and processes involved in curriculum reform. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving internal and external stakeholders, including lecturers, students, international academics, and partner institutions. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, focusing on the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Results: The curriculum restructuring process followed three systematic stages: internal review, external review, and sanctioning meetings. Each stage was guided by the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) cycle, ensuring that quality assurance, reflection, and continuous improvement were embedded throughout the process. Multi-stakeholder participation was central to every stage, promoting alignment with international standards and responsiveness to both institutional and global needs. Transdisciplinary collaboration particularly with academics from Malaysia and Thailand, as well as local NGOs enhanced curriculum content, learning outcomes, and pedagogical design, ensuring both contextual relevance and international compatibility. Novelty: This study proposes a quality-based curriculum management model that integrates TQM principles with transdisciplinary collaboration. Unlike conventional curriculum reforms, this model positions quality assurance mechanisms and global collaboration as the core drivers of sustainable change. The findings provide both practical and theoretical insights for higher education institutions seeking international recognition, demonstrating that structured, quality-driven curriculum restructuring can strengthen institutional competitiveness and educational relevance in the global landscape.
