Abstract

Diarrhea is Reason death biggest third on toddlers in the world after pneumoniae and disease default . Death rate caused toddlers _ Because diarrhea reached 1.5 million per year . Incident the biggest happened at 2 years First life and decline along with growth children ( Ministry of Health RI, 2017) . Many factors are related with incident diarrhea in toddlers 1-3- years . Research This aim For know related factors _ with incident diarrhea in toddlers aged 1-3- years in the health center Mount Labu, Kayu Aro Barat District , 2022. Type study is study qualitative with approach cross sectional . Data collection has done on the month February 2023 - March 2023 . Population in research This as much 262 people and samples numbered 70 people, engineering taking sample with formula Lemeshow . Data analyzed in a manner univariate with distribution frequency on each one variables and analysis bivariate with using the chi-square test . Statistical test results showing there is connection level knowledge ( p value=0.000), nutritional status ( p value=0.000 ), age wedding early ( p value = 0.000) then can taken conclusion that there is connection level knowledge, status nutrition , age wedding early with incident diarrhea in toddlers aged 1-3 years in the health center Mount Labu, Kayu Aro Barat District , 2022. Recommended to officer health For give counseling health and facilitation Mother in get iformation about disease diarrhea.

Abstract

Sectio caesarea delivery has an impact on a higher level of pain in the operated abdomen compared to normal delivery. One therapy that can be given is lavender aromatherapy. This aromatherapy contains ingredients that can increase alpha waves in the brain, thus making the mother feel relaxed. The purpose of the study was to see the effectiveness of giving lavender aromatherapy to the intensity of post sectio caesarea pain in the Midwifery Room of Bhayangkara Hospital Padang in 2022. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a One-Group Pre-Test-Post- Test approach which was carried out from June-August 2022. The population of all post sectio caesarea mothers was 57 people with a purposive sampling technique of 16 people. Collecting data using observation sheets. The data were computerized with univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of = 0.05. The results obtained that the average post sectio caesarea pain before being given lavender aromatherapy was 5.63 and reduced after being given lavender aromatherapy was 3.38. The results of the bivariate analysis showed the effectiveness of giving lavender aromatherapy to the intensity of post sectio caesarea pain (p = 0.000) The results of the study concluded that there was an effectiveness of giving lavender aromatherapy to the intensity of post sectio caesarea pain, it is hoped that nurses would apply lavender aromatherapy for caesarean post section patients as an alternative in pain management and apply other therapies as companion therapy to reduce postoperative pain intensity.

Abstract

The World Health Organization states that the highest complications in pregnancy and childbirth are bleeding with a case number of 32.1%, followed by preeclampsia 26.7% and premature rupture of membranes with an incidence rate of 24.98. The study aimed to determine the factors associated with the incidence of preeclampsia at the Mentawai Islands District General Hospital.This type of research is analytic with a case-control design with a retrospective approach. The population is all mothers giving birth at the Mentawai Islands Hospital in 2022, totaling 279 people. Samples were taken by matching and systematic random sampling of 30 respondents, the data used were secondary data taken from medical records using a checklist. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariate with the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that 15 people had preeclampsia, 8 respondents (53.3%) had a history of hypertension, 5 respondents (33.3%) suffered from obesity, and 4 respondents (26.7%) had diabetes mellitus.the Mentawai Islands District General Hospital, a p-value of 0.020 was obtained, for the relationship between obesity and the incidence of preeclampsia at the Mentawai Islands District General Hospital, a p-value was obtained of 0.014, The Mentawai Islands District General Hospital obtained a p-value of 0.032. In conclusion, there is a relationship between a history of hypertension, obesity, diabetes mellitus, and the incidence of preeclampsia at the Mentawai Islands District General Hospital. Suggestions, it is hoped that health workers can detect preeclampsia early in pregnant women to reduce the incidence of preeclampsia in Indonesia, especially in the Mentawai Islands.
