Abstract

Adolescence is a pivotal stage of development marked by emotional volatility and intensified sibling rivalry, a phenomenon particularly prevalent in Indonesian families. Prior evidence highlights parenting style as a critical determinant of sibling rivalry, yet research in Indonesian contexts remains limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles—authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive—on the prevalence and severity of sibling rivalry among adolescents in Karawang. Utilizing a quantitative, causal-comparative design, 384 adolescents aged 11–17 completed validated scales assessing perceptions of parenting style and sibling rivalry. Multiple regression analysis revealed that authoritative parenting is significantly associated with reduced sibling rivalry, while both authoritarian and permissive parenting styles are linked to increased rivalry, with permissive parenting showing the strongest effect. Collectively, parenting styles accounted for 78.9% of the variance in sibling rivalry, emphasizing their central role in adolescent family dynamics. These findings affirm the universality of classic parenting theories and stress the urgent need for culturally adapted parental guidance programs in Indonesia. The study offers actionable recommendations for parents, educators, and policymakers seeking to foster harmonious sibling relationships and healthy adolescent development. Future research should investigate additional influencing factors, such as birth order, family stress, and socio-economic status, using longitudinal or mixed-method designs for a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Working moms as formal workers in Karawang Regency are the focus of this study, which has a target to measure work family conflict on work stress. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work family conflict on work stress in working moms. This research method uses a quantitative method, participants in this study were 151 respondents. The analysis used in this study is a simple regression analysis using SPSS 25 software. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between work family conflict and work stress in working moms.

Abstract

Pendapatan yang tergolong besar mendorong para pekerja untuk berperilaku konsumtif dengan berpenampilan mewah serta selalu mengikuti tren yang sedang terjadi. Perilaku konsumtif tersebut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pemborosan dengan tidak mempertimbangkan apa yang sebenarnya diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis dan fear of missing out terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pekerja di Kabupaten Karawang dengan jumlah sebanyak 112 orang. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas dan menggunakan teknik sampel convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga jenis skala, diantaranya: skala gaya hidup hedonis, skala FoMO, dan skala perilaku konsumtif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti ada pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis dan fear of missing out terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) menunjukkan hasil sebesar 0,896 atau 89,6% dimana gaya hidup hedonis berkontribusi sebesar 77,4% dan fear of missing out sebesar 12,2%. Dengan kata lain gaya hidup hedonis memiliki nilai sumbangan efektif lebih besar terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pekerja di Kabupaten Karawang.

Abstract

An organization is a system consisting of individuals who influence each other and work together to achieve certain goals. Organizational goals can be achieved if human resource management is done well, which in turn will increase organizational commitment and generate job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment in production employees at PT.X. This research method uses quantitative research methods with the research design used is associative causality. The population in this study consisted of 121 production employees in the Aluminum department. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with the total sampling method, so that the entire population consisting of 121 production employees was sampled in this study. The scale used to measure job satisfaction is the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). While the scale used to measure organizational commitment is the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ). Data analysis techniques in this study include classical assumption tests, (normality test, and linearity test), simple linear regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that there is an effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment in production employees at PT X. Job satisfaction contributes 64.5% to organizational commitment and 35.5% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Digital Well-Being Psychoeducation Program was implemented at SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat to enhance students’ understanding and awareness of healthy, balanced, and responsible technology use. The program involved 40 students from grades X and XI, aged 15 to 18 years old. The learning materials covered key topics including the digital world and its psychological impacts, strategies for managing screen time, digital literacy, and the development of essential psychological skills such as self-esteem and assertive communication. The sessions were designed to be interactive and reflective, integrating discussions, educational games, and contextual activities that resonated with students’ everyday digital experiences. Results from the pre-test and post-test demonstrated a notable increase in comprehension, with the proportion of students classified as having “good knowledge” rising from 27.5% to 62.5%. Beyond cognitive improvement, students’ reflective feedback indicated positive growth in digital awareness and self-regulation, such as better time management, more critical evaluation of online information, and improved balance between online and offline activities. As part of the program’s sustainability efforts, a follow-up initiative was developed through the creation of a Digital Well-Being school wall magazine and the use of the school’s official social media platforms to showcase student-produced educational content. These initiatives aim to nurture a lasting culture of digital wellness and literacy within the school community. Overall, the findings suggest that psychoeducation serves not only to strengthen digital literacy but also to foster a reflective, empathetic, and sustainable approach to digital well-being among adolescents.Keywords: Psychoeducation, Digital Well-Being, Digital Literacy, Adolescents ABSTRAKProgram Psikoedukasi Digital Well-Being dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai penggunaan teknologi yang sehat, seimbang, dan bertanggung jawab.
