Abstract

Partisipasi aktif dalam pemilu merupakan salah satu pilar penting dalam sebuah sistem demokrasi. Partisipasi ini tidak hanya sebatas pada kalangan dewasa, tetapi juga pada generasi muda khususnya siswa sekolah. Meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pemilu adalah sebuah tantangan yang perlu diatasi untuk membangun kesadaran politik dan membentuk warga negara yang bertanggung jawab. Sosialiasi pemilu di sekolah menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang potensial untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Melalui sosialiasi yang tepat, siswa menjadi lebih memahami arti penting pemilu, peran mereka sebagai pemilih, dan implikasi dari partisipasi politik. Selain itu, sosialisasi juga mampu membangun kesadaran politik siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman tentang sistem politik negara, serta membantu mereka mengenali calon dan program yang diusung oleh partai politik.

Abstract

Study This aim For develop And evaluate effectiveness module learning in increase ability speak in Language Indonesia on student class 9 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Country 3 Padangsidimpuan. Approach study use design development (RD) with models ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). the module designed For facilitate learning independent students and strengthen Skills speak. Research result show that use module learning in a way significant increase ability speak student. The results of data analysis from the pre-test and post-test show enhancement score ability speak significant students in a way statistics. Additionally, students respond positive to module this, with part big from they feel more motivated And believe self in speak Language Indonesia. Importance the role of the teacher in implementation module is also proven important in reach success learning. Teacher Which trained and involved active in learning can increase effectiveness module. By Because That, training Teacher become factor key in integration module in learning. In conclusion, use module developed learning with the ADDIE model is effective in increase ability speak student in Indonesian. this module No only help in understanding material, but also encouraging interest and motivation student in learning Indonesian . Study This give base for development more carry on in Indonesian language teaching and providing contribution in effort increase effectiveness learning speak. Abstract

This study aims to describe errors in the use of language based on the fifth edition of the EYD in scientific papers compiled by students of the Indonesian Tadris Study program at UIN SYAHADA, to describe errors in the use of EYD in student papers. The object of research is an analysis of errors in the use of EYD in student papers. The researcher found incorrect data in the first paper where there were the use of italics or foreign sentences where there were fourteen foreign sentences that were not italicized, while in the second paper there were seventeen foreign sentences that were not italicized. For errors in the use of capital letters, the second paper has eighteen errors, this is very different from the first paper where there are only two errors. For other errors such as the use of punctuation marks, the use of prepositions and spelling errors. This research includes descriptive qualitative. Data were collected by observing, documenting, and writing the intralingual condalingual method. The results show that the research paper found several EYD errors such as the use of spelling, capital words, prepositions, conjunctions, italics, and typing errors.Keywords: mistakes,Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD), university student papers

Abstract

One of the aims of this research is to (1) explain the types of syntactic errors that occur in single sentences in descriptive essays written by students who meet high academic standards, and (2) explain the types of syntactic errors that occur in compound sentences written by students. that meets high academic standards. This research is qualitative research. This research involved high class students whose mother tongue was Batak. The data used in this research are single and compound Indonesian sentences that violate language at the syntactic level in their free essays. The results showed that 13 out of 18 students, or 72 percent of the students, made mistakes in their essays. The results showed that high class students who spoke Batak as their mother tongue made syntactic errors in one single sentence. These syntactic errors are (1) sentences that are ungrammatical, (2) sentences that are not coherent, (3) sentences that are ineffective, and (4) sentences that are influenced by the Batak language. Syntactic errors in equivalent compound sentences are (1) equivalent compound sentences that are ungrammatical, (2) equivalent compound sentences that are not coherent, and (3)equivalent compound sentences that are ineffective, and (4) equivalent compound sentences. Keywords: syntax errors, Indonesian essays, Batak mother tongue.

Abstract

Phrase means a language unit that exists in one sentence function and consists of two or more terms. The research entitled "Analysis of the Use of Phrases in Short Story 'Kucing Yang Selalu Lapar' Karya Mas Kahfi" aims to identify the types of phrases, clauses, and sentences used in the short story. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to collect and describe the data, which consists of various types of phrases found in the story. The researchers followed a read and write technique, where they first read thestoryandthenrecordedtheresultsoftheiranalysis.Thisstudyisuniqueinthatitfocuses specifically on analyzing the use of phrases, unlike previous studies that have only examined syntax in general. The researchers identified several types of phrases in the stories, including verbal phrases, numeral phrases, adverbial phrases, noun phrases, adjective phrases, and adjective phrases.This study aims to analyze the use of phrases in the short story "The Cat Who Is Always Hungry" by Lena D. The analysis focuses on identifying the types, structures, and functions of phrases used in the text, including noun phrases, verb phrases, adjective phrases, adverbial phrases, and prepositional phrases. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the data were collected through careful reading and annotation of the short story. The results show that Lena D. extensively uses noun and verb phrases to vividly describe characters and actions, while adverbial and prepositional phrases serve to enhance spatial and temporal settings in the narrative. The use of varied phrase structures contributes significantly to the expressive style and thematic depth of the story, creating a captivating and immersive reading experience. This research highlights the importance of phrase analysis in understanding an author's linguistic creativity and storytelling techniques.Keywords : phrases, syntax, short story, the always hungry cat.

Abstract

Memberikan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakter anak SD dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di SDN 200515 Perumnas Pijorkoling. Penelitian ini fokus pada pentingnya media visual dalam pembelajaran, menggantikan metode ceramah tradisional dengan pendekatan berbasis visual untuk memudahkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan oleh guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian adalah siswa di SDN 200515 Perumnas Pijorkoling. Pendekatan kualitatif dalam penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang efektivitas penggunaan media visual dalam konteks pembelajaran di tingkat SD. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru menggunakan media aplikasi canva berbasis visual berhasil menarik perhatian siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan pendekatan ini, guru di SDN 200515 Perumnas Pijorkoling dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa strategi menggunakan media visual berhasil tidak hanya dalam menarik perhatian siswa tetapi juga memfasilitasi pemahaman mereka terhadap materi pelajaran.

Abstract

Writing review skills are essential competencies for students, particularly in fostering critical thinking and effective communication. This study aims to assess the impact of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) learning model on enhancing the review writing skills of eleventh-grade students at MA Swasta PPQ Al Washliyah Firdaus during the 2023/2024 academic year. The research focuses on the implementation of the SQ3R method and its effectiveness in improving writing skills. Employing a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design and a quantitative approach, this study involved 52 students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest writing assessments. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in students' writing performance after the implementation of the SQ3R model, with a posttest average score of 80.4 compared to a pretest average score of 74 using conventional methods. These findings suggest that the structured steps of the SQ3R model effectively support students in comprehending texts and producing well-organized reviews, thereby contributing to the development of their academic writing abilities.

Abstract

This research examines the pragmatic aspects of language use on social media by teenagers, focusing on how they convey meaning and intent through online messages. The main aim of this study is to understand the patterns of pragmatic language use and the factors influencing the choice of communication strategies among teenagers on social media. The methodology employed is a literature review with qualitative analysis of various previous studies discussing pragmatics, adolescent communication, and social media. The findings indicate that teenagers tend to employ pragmatic strategies such as irony, sarcasm, and indirect markers to deliver messages effectively and maintain social relationships. The use of these strategies is influenced by cultural factors, social context, and the closeness of relationships between users. These results underscore the importance of understanding pragmatic aspects when studying teenage communication on social media, as well as its implications for developing digital literacy and effective communication skills. Keywords: Pragmatics, Language, Social Media, Teenagers
