Abstract

Inflation in Indonesia tends to be stable at around 5 percent over the last 6 years from various aspects of the economy, one of which is import activities where Indonesia is a world consumer. This is due to production limitations which influence fluctuations in prices of products and services. Based on this, the aim of this research is to find out how the government's actions regarding import control policies influence the inflation rate in Indonesia. The methodology used is quantitative with associative descriptive analysis, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques (time series data), and uses secondary data in the form of import value, import weight and inflation for the 2017-2022 period. The results of this research also show that the value of imports has a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia in 2017-2022, this is because if a country carries out import activities it will have an impact on increased foreign currency exchange which can then have an impact on inflation. Meanwhile, the weight of imports does not have a significant influence on inflation in Indonesia in 2017-2022, this is because if the price of imported goods rises, the majority of people are reluctant to buy goods abroad because the costs of obtaining them are also high. Then this had an effect on reducing inflation in Indonesia. However, in this condition, these two variables simultaneously have a significant influence on inflation, because the two variables are interconnected, where the higher the import value, the closer the two indicators are. If the value of imports increases, it can have an impact on reducing the volume of goods to be imported and vice versa, which will then affect inflation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap ide bunuh diri pada dewasa awal di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dewasa awal di Kabupaten Karawang dengan jumlah 102 responden berusia 18 – 25 tahun. Teknik menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling. Untuk mengukur variabel ide bunuh diri peneliti menggunakan revised suicidei Ideationi scale (R-SIS) yang berjumlah 10 item dan skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur regulasi emosi adalah emotion regulation questionnare (ERQ) yang terdiri dari 10 item. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji hipotesis regresi linear sederhana, serta uji tambahan yaitu uji koefisien determinasi dan uji kategorisasi. Hasil uji hipotesis regresi linier sederhana didapatkan nilai 0.000 0.05 artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, sehingga data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap ide bunuh diri pada dewasa awal di Kabupaten Karawang. Adapun hasil uji koefisien determinasi dengan nilai R square adalah 0.354 atau 35.4% dan sisanya sebesar 64.6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Abstract   This study investigates the nonverbal communication practices experienced by Indonesian internship students in Japanese companies during the 2023–2024 period, with internship durations ranging from six months to one year. The research aims to identify the types of nonverbal communication employed, the contextual circumstances under which they occur, and the challenges faced by interns in adapting to a cross-cultural work environment. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, this study draws on participant observation and in-depth interviews with selected internship participants. The findings indicate that interns encountered significant challenges in interpreting and adjusting to Japanese nonverbal norms, particularly in facial expressions, body gestures, and the use of personal space. The study identified 19 common nonverbal gestures and 4 gestures categorized as informal or slang. These results underscore the critical role of nonverbal communication in intercultural interactions and highlight its implications for the development of intercultural competence and the success of students in international work settings.   Keywords: Nonverbal Communication, Types of Nonverbal Communication, Gestures   Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praktik komunikasi nonverbal yang dialami oleh mahasiswa magang asal Indonesia di perusahaan-perusahaan Jepang pada periode 2023–2024, dengan durasi magang antara enam bulan hingga satu tahun. Fokus penelitian mencakup identifikasi jenis komunikasi nonverbal yang digunakan, situasi-situasi yang melatarbelakanginya, serta tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kerja lintas budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam terhadap sejumlah mahasiswa magang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dalam memahami dan menyesuaikan diri terhadap norma komunikasi nonverbal di Jepang, khususnya dalam hal ekspresi wajah, gestur tubuh, dan penggunaan ruang pribadi. Penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi 19 jenis komunikasi nonverbal yang bersifat umum dan 4 gestur nonverbal yang bersifat informal atau slang. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap komunikasi nonverbal dalam konteks antarbudaya serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan kompetensi interkultural dan kesiapan kerja global mahasiswa.   Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Nonverbal, Jenis Komunikasi Nonverbal, Gestur

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership of village heads in shaping organizational culture and enhancing staff commitment in Tulungagung Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive influence on both organizational culture and staff commitment, particularly in the aspects of inspirational motivation and a collaborative work environment. However, the dimensions of high-performance expectations and result orientation have not yet been optimally developed. Organizational culture has a direct influence on commitment, although its role as a mediating variable is not yet fully realized or maximized. The commitment of village officials tends to be normative and is based on compliance with existing work structures. In conclusion, transformational leadership that is not only charismatic but also strategic in setting performance targets and fostering a result-oriented work culture is essential for improving the effectiveness of village governance, particularly in the Tulungagung Regency. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan transformasional kepala desa dalam membentuk budaya organisasi dan meningkatkan komitmen perangkat di Kabupaten Tulungagung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap budaya organisasi dan komitmen perangkat, khususnya dalam aspek motivasi inspirasional dan lingkungan kerja yang kolaboratif. Namun, dimensi harapan kinerja tinggi dan orientasi hasil masih belum berkembang secara optimal. Budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap komitmen, meskipun perannya sebagai variabel mediasi belum sepenuhnya terwujud atau maksimal. Komitmen perangkat desa cenderung bersifat normatif dan didasarkan pada kepatuhan terhadap struktur kerja yang ada. Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan transformasional yang tidak hanya karismatik, tetapi juga strategis dalam menetapkan target kinerja dan membangun budaya kerja yang berorientasi pada hasil sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas tata kelola pemerintahan desa khususnya pada wilayah Kabupaten Tulungagung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis Pengaruh Employee Engagement, Perceived Oprganizational Support, Dan Self Efficacy Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. King Beton Nusantara. PT. King Beton Nusantara merupakan perusahaan konstruksi yang berdiri sejak tahun 2017. PT. King Beton Nusantara terletak di Jln. Sritanjung No. 04 Gladag, Kecamatan Rogojampi, kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebar angket kuesioner, dengan Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik analisis regresi linier berganda, uji hipotesis dan koefisien determinasi. Penyebaran angket kuesioner disebarkan kepada 73 responden yang merupakan karyawan. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan menggunakan SPSS v.25 for windows. Hasil uji hipotesis t (t hitung > t tabel), t tabel (1,995), employee engagement X1 (t hitung 7,198), dan self efficacy X3 (t hitung 5,669), secara parsial berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Karyawan PT. King Beton Nusantara, tetapi pada perceived organizational support X3 menunjukan hasil uji hipotesis t (t hitung < t tabel), t tabel (-1,669) yang menyatakan variabel ini tidak memiliki perpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Karyawan PT. King Beton Nusantara. Hasil uji F (F hitung> F tabel 108.419 > 2,737) sehingga secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Karyawan PT. King Beton Nusantara.

Abstract

This study reimagines classroom literacy practices in Indonesian multilingual contexts by examining how translanguaging, dynamic alternation between languages to build meaning, can function as a pedagogical strategy that bridges the gap between students’ home literacies and the monolingual practices of formal schooling. Employing a qualitative multiple case study with light classroom ethnography, the research was conducted in five secondary schools in Garut, West Java. Data were collected through classroom observations involving reading, text discussions, and writing activities; semi-structured interviews with teachers and students; and analysis of instructional documents. Discourse analysis was used to identify the forms and functions of translanguaging in classroom interaction, while thematic analysis explored participants’ perceptions and experiences. The findings reveal that translanguaging naturally emerges in various classroom interactions, particularly during group discussions and concept explanations, enhancing students’ conceptual understanding, encouraging active participation, and bridging home–school literacy practices. Teachers and students flexibly used Sundanese, Indonesian, and English to construct more inclusive meanings, yet curricular policies that emphasize formal Indonesian remain a key constraint. This study offers new empirical evidence of translanguaging in Indonesian secondary literacy classrooms and proposes a conceptual model grounded in local practices, contributing to educational, linguistic, and applied language studies by highlighting the need for pedagogies that are linguistically responsive and socially contextualized.

Abstract

Instagram stands out as a prominent platform, offering companies a valuable space to promote their offerings to a vast and diverse audience. To capture consumer interest, Instagram advertisements now incorporate innovative interactive features and ephemeral effects, enhancing their appeal and engagement. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of interactivity and ephemerality of instagram advertisements in shaping perceived value and behavioral intention. A quantitative research approach was employed in this study. Data from 239 participants were gathered through an online survey and analyzed utilizing SmartPLS 3.2.9 software employing Structural Equation Modeling. The findings indicate that the interactivity and ephemerality of Instagram Stories advertisements significantly influence three types of perceived value such as utilitarian, hedonic, and social value among female consumers of the fashion brand HeyLocal. Furthermore, these perceived values motivate positive behavioral intentions such as the intention towards social media activities, online search, and brand purchase. In contrast to social value, it was found that utilitarian and hedonic value do not directly impact brand purchase. In addition, our research revealed that consumers' purchase decisions can be reinforced through their engagement in social media activities and online information search.
