Abstract

Educational goals will be achieved with quality learning. To improve the quality of learning requires efforts to achieve it. There are various subjects that can improve the quality of education at every level of formal education, namely mathematics. Mathematics is a subject that is related to arithmetic and concrete or abstract thinking. The purpose of this writing is to analyze the application of problem-based learning models to increase the motivation to learn mathematics in fifth grade elementary school students. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. The results obtained for the motivation of students in SDN 34/I Teratai, especially the VC class can be classified as having a low level of motivation in mathematics. This low motivation can be caused by the low motivation to study in class VC SDN 34/I Teratai. The conclusion from this research is to increase the learning motivation of students, an effort is needed, for example, by using a learning model that is appropriate to the learning material. The material for netting cubes and blocks can be done by applying the PBL learning model which is based on problems and students are asked to solve these problems with the assistance of the teacher as a facilitator.

Abstract

The research aims to explain the suitability of teaching materials. This type of research and development (RD) uses the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The data in the research consists of qualitative and quantitative data. The research was carried out at SDN 10/IV Jambi City. Research data collection instruments include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the feasibility test for teaching materials from language validation obtained an average score of 4.9 (very valid category). Media validation got an average score of 4.7 (very valid), material validation with an average score of 4.7 (very valid). The results of validating the practicality of teaching materials from educators' responses had an average score of 4.9 (very practical), and students got an average score of 4.6 (very practical). The conclusion of this research is that the development of ethnomathematics-based teaching materials for the traditional game of marbles using the Canva for education application for class VI elementary schools is very feasible (very valid and very practical).

Abstract

The implementation of teaching and learning activities can be carried out using various methods, models, approaches, and media according to the needs of teachers and students. Various methods, models, approaches, and media will make learning more meaningful, and the delivery of material will be easier. Based on the facts in the field there are still many educators who carry out a monotonous learning process, especially in science material, so that it seems boring to students such as at SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil, so that student learning outcomes decrease. The main purpose of making this journal is to analyze related to improving student learning outcomes through discovery learning science content semester 1 in class VI SDN 195/VI Pematang Kancil. Writing this journal is based on a type of qualitative research using a literature review approach or literature review. Library review is an activity to examine various forms of relevant sources. The conclusion is that using the Discovery Learning learning model in Natural Education subjects at the elementary level is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The aspects in the indicators of student learning outcomes include cognitive, psychomotor, and also affective aspects.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the primary source of teachings for Muslims and the principal guide in everyday life, including Islamic education. Changing societal needs are a key factor in developing Islamic education curricula to ensure that school graduates meet contemporary demands. This research aims to develop a Qur'an-based Islamic education curriculum to produce graduates who understand religious teachings and can benefit society. It acknowledges that curriculum development is the responsibility of stakeholders and educators in educational institutions. Based on this premise, the researcher writes this literature to provide information for developing Quran-based Islamic Education curricula that meet societal needs. This study is a literature review employing qualitative descriptive methodology with a pragmatic approach. Primary data are derived from the Qur'an, while secondary data come from books and journals. Data collection techniques include documentation, encompassing literature such as the Qur'an, journal articles, and online sources. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman method, involving data collection, presentation, reduction, and verification to draw accurate conclusions. The research findings underscore the importance of aligning Islamic education curricula with societal needs. Varied implementation in madrasahs requires effective management, adequate resources, and collaboration among principals, teachers, and educational staff. Continuous evaluation is crucial to maintaining the relevance and effectiveness of the curriculum. In conclusion, this research emphasizes that a Qur'an-based Islamic education curriculum should be tailored to meet societal needs. Varied implementation necessitates effective management, adequate resources, and collaboration among madrasah principals, teachers, and educational staff to achieve quality education goals.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian, namun kerap menghadapi berbagai risiko yang dapat mengancam keberlanjutan usahanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan manajemen risiko terhadap keberlangsungan dan kinerja UMKM, dengan studi kasus pada Annyeong Kimbab di Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, serta analisis data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen risiko yang mencakup identifikasi dan pengelolaan risiko pada aspek keuangan, sumber daya manusia, operasional dan pemasaran mampu meningkatkan ketahanan dan kinerja UMKM Annyeong Kimbab secara signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya manajemen risiko sebagai strategi kunci dalam mempertahankan keberlanjutan dan daya saing usaha. Penelitian ini juga memberikan panduan praktis bagi pelaku UMKM lain dalam menyusun strategi mitigasi risiko secara efektif dan terintegrasi. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, UMKM dapat mengantisipasi perubahan pasar, menjaga stabilitas usaha, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk dan layanan yang ditawarkan. Hal ini menjadi dasar penting bagi pengambilan keputusan manajerial yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) assess the performance of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) and Sharia Business Units (UUS) within Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Indonesia during 2022–2023 through the lens of the Sharia Maqasid Index (SMI); (2) evaluate their performance from the perspective of Sustainable Finance; and (3) compare the performance of BUS and UUS based on both analytical frameworks. A quantitative-descriptive method was employed, utilizing a document study approach. Data were collected from the annual reports of BUS and UUS at BPDs during the 2022–2023 period and analyzed using SMI indicators and Sustainable Finance principles. A weighted scoring and ranking technique based on Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) was applied to measure performance. The findings reveal that BUS and UUS experienced significant improvement in SMI performance, particularly in the dimensions of education (tahdz?b al-fard) and socio-economic contribution (jalb al-ma?la?ah). Banks such as NTB Syariah and Aceh Syariah excelled in maq??id based financing and zakat distribution, while UUS in Central Java and Nagari demonstrated strength in educational initiatives and social justice. In terms of Sustainable Finance, all banks fulfilled the four key indicators sustainable development, green economy, social responsibility, and separate sustainability reporting. However, most reports remained descriptive and lacked impact-based metrics. Overall, BUS exhibited stronger performance than UUS in integrating both maq??id principles and sustainability practices. These results highlight the need to strengthen performance evaluation frameworks grounded in Sharia values and sustainability to support the transformation of Islamic regional banks into inclusive and impactful institutions.
