Abstract

Learning to read faces problems and obstacles. The teacher's role as a facilitator is to facilitate student learning as well as possible by using various strategies, methods and learning resources. The teacher's role in education is to equip students with the central point of science and technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in improving the reading skills of fourth grade students at SDN 106810 Sampali. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there are several types of media used in teaching reading, but students are more interested in media images, for example pop-up books and teaching materials used in teaching reading, namely thematic books. While the efforts that teachers make in improving students' reading skills are by motivating, directing, guiding, providing reading corners, making visits to the library and giving prizes to students whose reading is already fluent and getting used to literacy activities before starting learning so that students like and are interested in reading.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw adalah model pembelajaran kelompok dengan menempatkan anggota ke dalam dua kelompok kecil yakni kelompok ahli dan kelompok asal untuk saling mengemukakan pendapat, sehingga siswa bisa memahami isi pelajaran dengan mengeksplor kemampuan berpikirnya dan juga membuat siswa terampil dalam komunikasi dan kerja sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi bahwa pembelajaran IPS dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw yang dapat memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi pelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu ada beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan model kooperatif jigsaw dalam pembelajaran IPS, namun yang kurang dari proses pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe jigsaw yang telah dilakukan dijadikan sebagai evaluasi dalam proses pembelajaran berikutnya agar menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya yang telah dilakukan guru dalam menerapakan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, efektif, menyenangkan (PAKEM) pada mata pelajaran matematika, penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah MIS AL-Washliyah Timbang Lawan Kecamatan Bahorok, metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa guru telah melakukan beberapa upaya untuk menerapkan model PAKEM pada pembelajaran matematika, hal itu sesuai dengan isi RPP yang dimiliki oleh subjek penelitian.

Abstract

Enjoyable learning in SKI subjects needs to be widely understood. Fun learning is a learning process in which there is a strong relationship between the teacher and students, without any feelings of pressure. The purpose of this study was to find out about fun learning in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MIS Al-Washliyah. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning carried out at MIS Al-Washliyah has been going well according to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). However, there are several obstacles that are felt in carrying out learning at MIS Al-Washliyah, namely the conditions and school environment, biological, physiological and psychological conditions of students ranging from interests, talents, intelligence to student motivation in learning. The solution that can be done in overcoming obstacles is by means of a learning environment that must be made conducive so that the learning process can be carried out optimally. To provide motivation to students, teachers must also be able to use interesting and fun learning methods such as experimental methods, discussions and others. As a teacher, you must also pay attention to student learning readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Pop-Up Book-based image series media in enhancing narrative writing skills in Indonesian language lessons for fourth-grade students at MIS Al-Washliyah Timbang Lawan. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the research includes stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product underwent validation by media, material, and language experts. Results showed that media experts rated the Pop-Up Book learning media at 95.7% (very valid), material experts at 72.3% (valid), and language experts at 94.2% (very valid). In terms of practicality, educators gave it a 96% rating (very practical), while students rated it 93.1% (very practical). The writing ability observation sheet showed that students’ writing skills improved significantly, from 65.6% to 95% after using the media. In conclusion, the Pop-Up Book-based learning media is effective in improving students' writing skills.

Abstract

The establishment of school committees is an important strategy to strengthen community involvement in education and improve the effectiveness of school management. This research aims to investigate the process of forming and establishing committees at MI Al-Barkah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, field observations, and documentation studies (library literature). The research results show that the committee at MI Al-Barkah has been formed since 2007 and remains active to this day. The formation and establishment of this school committee has had a positive impact in increasing parent participation, the quality of education, and the effectiveness of school management.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis terhadap penguatan toleransi di SDN 106810 Sampali, dengan rumusan kajian yaitu latar keagamaan dan kebudayaan, kedua praktik pembelajaran mendukung toleransi. Untuk mendapatkan hasil riset, penelitian ini menggunakan konsep kualitatif deskriptif  dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kegunaan keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pertama, latar keagamaan dan kebudayaan pada dua jenis yaitu Islam dan Kristen. Untuk latar aliran keagamaan hanya diperdapati pada  beragama Islam yaitu Ahlussunnah Waljamaah dan Ahmadiyah. Sedangkan pembahasan kebudayaan hanya dua kelompok suku yaitu Jawa dan Batak. Kedua, praktik pembelajaran dalam mendukung atau menguatkan toleransi ada tujuh skema yang dipraktikkan, yaitu pertama, sebelum dan sesudah memulai pembelajaran siswa diarahkan untuk berdoa sesuai dengan keyakinan masing-masing. Kedua, melakukan piket bersama secara bergiliran. Ketiga, mendengarkan orang lain ketika berbicara tanpa memotong pembicaraan. Keempat, menghargai hak pribadi orang lain. Kelima, mengenalkan keanekaragaman Indonesia. Keenam, menggambarkan potret diri. Ketujuh, bersalaman dengan guru ketika berjumpa di sekolah.          Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keragaman baik faktor agama ataupun budaya dapat saling menguatkan dalam proses pencapaian tujuan pendidikan dan pembelajaran.Kata kunci : Penguatan Toleransi, Sekolah Dasar
