Abstract

The use of meet applications is one way that is easily used by educators and students in carrying out the teaching and learning process during a pandemic. The pandemic that haunts the world of education does not demand the possibility to stop studying. Meet which strongly supports students to stay in education. The meet application is a technology system in the form of videos used in a forum, especially in the field of education, which can be used as a substitute for direct teaching and learning due to serious problems. The objectives of this study include 1) making it easier for educators and students to teach 2) reaching long distances 3) knowing the development of students who are indirectly using meet 4) making meet as one of the right solutions during a pandemic. The method used in this case is a quantitative method which does it by directly surveying the destination. The result of this study is how the use of the google meet application for the world of education which can foster high enthusiasm in achieving student achievement during a pandemic. The limitation of this study is that it is difficult for researchers to know the state of students in the online teaching and learning process in using the meet application to support student learning. Researchers hope that the use of meet in the world of education can help students to foster a spirit of creativity during the pandemic.

Abstract

In this era, education is needed to support children in continuing the next generation of the nation. In education today, an update in education is needed, in order to change education in Indonesia to be more advanced. To achieve the goal of more advanced education, there must be a curriculum update in Indonesia. In February 2022 last year, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched an independent curriculum where the independent curriculum method refers more to the talents and interests of children. This independent curriculum allows students to choose the lessons they like or are most interested in. The purpose of this study is to evaluate early childhood learning on the use of the independent curriculum. This research method uses quantitative methods, this data is obtained from interviews to kindergartens. The results showed that the independent curriculum is very good in supporting students' learning in improving skills, character, by using flexible learning. From this research it can be concluded that the use of an independent curriculum for early childhood is very effective and efficient. The independent curriculum leads to the development of skills and character, focuses on essential material, and uses flexible learning. The limitation of this research is that researchers only conducted research in one kindergarten in 50 cities in West Sumatra Province, researchers hope that future researchers can conduct research with a wider range so that they can continue this research. This study also recommends to future researchers as a reference in conducting research on the use of Merdeka Curriculum in Early Childhood.

Abstract

Background. This research analyzes the role of Learning Technology in stimulating student creativity in foreign language learning in higher education. The research background highlights the importance of integrating learning technology in the context of higher education, especially in developing student creativity in foreign language learning. With the rapid development of Learning Technology, this research tries to measure and analyze its impact on student creativity. Purpose. The aim of this research is to identify the extent to which Learning Technology influences the level of student creativity, assess preferences and trends in technology use, and provide recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of technology use in supporting foreign language learning. With a quantitative approach through a survey model, this research combines a comprehensive research design to gain in-depth insights. Method. The research methodology includes creating a questionnaire that reflects key aspects, such as the type of technology used, frequency of use, and perceptions of creativity. Respondents were selected from university students who were actively taking foreign language courses, especially Arabic and English. Distribution of the questionnaire was carried out via Google Forms and WhatsApp groups, ensuring efficient participation. Results. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model allows for an in-depth interpretation of the relationship between the use of Learning Technology and the level of student creativity. The research results highlight students' positive views on the impact of creativity generated by the use of learning technology, especially in collaboration and developing speaking and writing skills. Conclusion. This research provides a solid foundation for understanding the role of Learning Technology in shaping students' foreign language learning experiences. These conclusions provide valuable information for higher education institutions and policy makers to continue to improve the integration of learning technology, create an environment that supports creativity, and enrich the foreign language learning process in the future.
