Abstract

The problem that arises in learning English for early childhood is the teacher's understanding of using appropriate media and methods in the process of learning English for early childhood at PAUD Al Hikmah, Gedung Raja Village, Abung Pekurun District, North Lampung Regency. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing Teaching English to Young Learner training for Al Hikmah PAUD teachers, Gedung Raja village, Abung Pekurun District, North Lampung Regency. This activity aims to provide teachers with insight and knowledge about how to teach English for early childhood. The method used in this activity is the lecture and discussion method. The steps for this activity are preparation, implementation, and evaluation. After the three stages have been completed, it can be concluded that using appropriate media and methods in learning English can make it easier for teachers to introduce English to young children. The results of community service carried out face to face went smoothly and well.

Abstract

Youtube is a platform or media that people, both adults and children often use. Along with the development of technology, of course, this can affect the social-emotional development of students if it is continuously used. The role of digital media such as YouTube in shaping the mindset and behaviour of these children is a major concern for all of us, one aspect that needs to be considered is its influence on social-emotional development in Bandar Lampung. This study aims to determine the effect of using YouTube media on social-emotional development in Bandar Lampung. This study uses quantitative research methods with an inferential statistical research design, using a population and sample of 32 students. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and questionnaires. The results showed that there was an effect of t-count> t-table with a significance level of 5% or 0.05, namely 2.663> 2.042, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted, namely there is an influence between the use of YouTube media on social-emotional development in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Strengthening literacy and numeracy skills in Primary school students is a fundamental aspect closely related to classroom learning. This study aims to describe various educational games that can enhance students' literacy and numeracy skills. The method used is a literature study, where data is obtained from books and scientific articles. The research results show that using educational games is efficacious in improving Primary school students' literacy and numeracy skills. Educational games also motivate students to understand literacy and numeracy in an enjoyable manner. Educational game-based learning media attract students' attention and encourage them to learn interactively and communicatively. Implementing games in learning helps students better understand literacy and numeracy concepts. One example of an educational game that can be used is the crossword puzzle, which is proven to be engaging and helps students remember vocabulary and general knowledge more efficiently. In the digital era, literacy and numeracy are essential skills that must be introduced early on. Educational game-based learning media is validated and deemed suitable for teaching, with an average validation rate of 74% and a positive student response rate of 80%. In conclusion, using educational games effectively enhances Primary school students' literacy and numeracy skills, and teachers must continue to innovate in the learning process to improve these skills

Abstract

Pelatihan guru untuk penguatan literasi dan numerasi di SD Negeri 04 Kelapa Tujuh Lampung Utara. Tujuan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang konsep literasi dan numerasi serta kemampuan dalam menerapkan konsep tersebut dalam pembelajaran yang bermakna. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru SD Negeri 04 Kelapa Tujuh Lampung Utara. Pelatihan ini membahas berbagai hal, seperti pemilihan metode pembelajaran, pengembangan materi pembelajaran, integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, pemantauan dan evaluasi serta kolaborasi antar guru. Kesimpulan dari pelatihan ini yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan guru mengenai literasi dan numerasi. Kolaborasi antara guru dan kepala sekolah menghasilkan program literasi dan numerasi yang terstruktur.  Kegiatan ini mencerminkan pemahaman mendalam para guru terhadap berbagai metode, pengembangan materi, dan integrasi teknologi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem of low student learning outcomes, lack of student interest in learning and the lack of teachers in utilizing learning models. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung with a research focus on class IV. The aim of the research is to analyze whether or not there is an influence if applying the Picture and Picture learning model to students of SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique in this study used random sampling. The method used in this study is an experiment with a type of quantitative research and the design used is one group pre-test and post-test. The data collection technique used in this study was to use a test. The results of this study based on hypothesis testing using paired t test, namely, obtained tcount = 3.522 at a significant level of 5% which is 1.761. Thus, tcount> ttable (3.522> 1.761). Based on the results of the hypothesis, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of the application of the Picture and Picture learning model on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences subjects in grade IV students of SD Negeri 3 Rajabasa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan cepat merasa bosan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya inovasi guru dalam proses pembelajaran berupa media yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas menjadi lebih menarik perhatian siswa serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas V B di SDN 2 Way Gubag Kecamatan Sukabumi Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttets design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t (paired sample t-test) untuk sampel yang sama dengan perlakuan berbeda (pretest-posttest). Dengan hasil t-hitung -5.169 dan t-tabel 2.110. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya diterima ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V B di SDN 2 Way Gubag Kecamatan Sukabumi Kota Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Speaking ability is one of the most important skills in English. Besides, the ability to speak English is also a challenging skill. This is due to various factors that influence it. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the ability to speak English. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this research were students of elementary school teacher education program STKIP Al Islam Tunas Bangsa in the first semester. Data was obtained through observation and interviews. The results of the research showed that the ability to speak English is influenced by several factors such as lack of vocabulary, lack of self-confidence, low motivation, mother tongue, and difficulties in pronunciation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya guru dalam menstimulasi kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini. Kemampuan berbicara merupakan aspek krusial dalam perkembangan anak, memengaruhi kemampuan bersosialisasi dan belajar mereka. pada usia dini, stimulasi yang tepat sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan bahasa. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya guru menstimulasi kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. objek penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini pada anak kelompok A di RA Permata Bunda. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu guru di kelas A yang berjumlah 2 orang dan sumber data berjumlah 10 peserta didik yang ada di kelas A. hasil penelitian menujukan guru dan orang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting dan saling melengkapi dalam menstimulasi kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini melalui kegiatan bercerita dan bermain, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. guru tidak hanya bertugas mengajar, tetapi juga menjadi teladan dan pembimbing yang sabar dalam membentuk kebiasaan baik anak.

Abstract

Kompetensi profesional bagi seorang guru atau pendidik adalah sebuah tuntutan sebagai profesinya, bukan hanya menguasai materi yang akan diajarkan namun harus memahami tentang pengelolaan pembelajaran atau pengelolaan kelas. Pengelolaan kelas adalah keterampilan guru untuk menciptakan dan memelihara kondisi belajar yang optimal dan mengembalikannya saat terjadi gangguan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana cara guru PAUD dalam mengelola kelas yang menyenangkan di TK Al Rizkika Natar Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pengelolaan kelas di TK Al Rizkika Natar Lampung Selatan sudah memenuhi standar yang baik karena pengelolaan kelas di TK Al Rizkika Natar Lampung Selatan dapat diketahui bahwa menguasai materi, struktur, dan pola pikir keilmuan mata pelajaran yang di ampu di lakukan dengan cara mengamati peserta didik dalam menguasai aspek-aspek penting dari suatu pelajaran dan meningkatkan minat serta perhatian peserta didik terhadap pelajaran.
