Abstract

Abstract: This research generally aims to get brief description of application high touch in learning process. This research is conducted by descriptive quantitative method.  The population is all teachers and students at senior high school. Samples are taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The percentage, correlation and t test. The results of this research reveal that application high touch  in learning process less and teachers’ opinion about high touch implementation as implication of teachers’ understanding toward learning process differ significantly with students’ opinion. Abstract

The success of the teacher in the teaching and learning process is determined by the teacher's performance as an educator. This performance plays an important role in achieving optimal teaching goals. However, in the reality of the teacher's performance shows less encouraging symptoms that many teaching teachers seem to have the lack mastery in teaching materials, media and methods used in the teaching and learning process. They have a tendency to teach the same materials in the following year while some of teachers arestill not being placed in accordance with their educational background. There is also the lack of encouragement from teachers to excel and compete among others. This research is conducted to reveal the contribution of teachers’ motivation and characteristic toward their performance in SMP Ma’arif Metro. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method using Ex Post Facto. The population of this study was all of teacheras many as 38 people and the sampling technique was done by total sampling. The result of the research shows that the teachers’ Motivation is 79.4 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as medium category.Teachers’ motivation contributes significantly towardTeacher’s performance by 41.2 %. While the Teachers’ Characteristics score is 85.30 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as good category.Teachers’ Characteristics contribute significantly towardthe Teachers’ Performance by 28.1 %, while Teachers’ Motivation and Characteristics together contribute significantly toward Teachers’ Performance by 32.7 %. This study found out that the two predictor variables which are the Motivation and Characteristics of Teachers both individually and jointly made a meaningful contribution toward the Teachers’ Performance.

Abstract

Keberhasilan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar ditentukan oleh kinerja (performance) guru sebagai tenaga pendidik. Untuk itu kinerja memegang peranan penting dalam mencapai tujuan pengajaran yang optimal. Namun kenyataan di lapangan, kinerja guru menunjukkan gejala- gejala yang kurang menggembirakan masih banyak guru mengajar terkesan kurang menguasai bahan, media dan metode yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar terkesan kurang bervariasi, guru mempunyai kecenderungan agar mengajarkan materi pelajaran yang sama pada tahun ajaran berikutnya, penempatan guru kurang sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikannya, dan kurangnya dorongan guru untuk lebih berprestasi dan berkompetisi di kalangan guru-guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif jenis Ex Post Facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang berjumlah 38 orang dan Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara total sampling. Hasil penelitian diketahui bawah tingkat pencapaian skor Motivasi guru sebesar 79,4% dari skor maksimum ideal dan berada pada kategori sedang. Motivasi guru berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru 41,2%. Tingkat pencapaian skor Karakteristik Guru sebesar 85,30% dari skor maksimum ideal dan berada pada kategori baik. Karakteristik Guru berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru sebesar 28,1%, sedangkan Motivasi dan Karakteristik Guru secara bersama-sama berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru sebesar 32,7%. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kedua variabel prediktor yang diteliti yakni Motivasi dan Karakteristik Guru, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama, memberikan kontribusi yang berarti terhadap Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran umum tentang program pelatihan yang diberikan kepada guru SD Negeri 2 Gunung Terang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah SD Negeri 2 Gunung Terang. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga langkah: (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pelatihan / training di tingkat sekolah masih belum optimal dan sebagian besar guru masih belum menunjukkan perubahan sikap yang signifikan terhadap program pelatihan. Perubahan tersebut tidak akan terjadi tanpa adanya kerjasama antara seluruh pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam proses perubahan perilaku guru setelah mengikuti pelatihan tersebut.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri  Gugus Labuhan Ratu. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh  antara pola asuh orang tua di masa pandemi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-postfacto. Populasi berjumlah 186 peserta didik dan teknik sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan  diperoleh sampel berjumlah 78 peserta didik. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala Likert, yang diuji validitas dengan hasi rtabel 0,396 dan reliabilitas instrument dengan hasil 0,899. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua di masa pandemi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan nilai konstanta (α) 29,88 artinya jika pola asuh orang tua bernilai 0 (nol), maka hasil belajar bernilai positif yaitu 29,88

Abstract

The background of this research is the low level of students mathematical critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the POGIL model in terms of students mathematical critical thinking skills. The population in this study were students of IV students and it consist of 3 classes. The sample for this research was students in classes IVA and IVB, selected using a purposive random sampling technique. This research is quasi-experimental research. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The data in this research is data on students mathematical critical thinking skills in the form of quantitative data obtained from the pretest and posttest. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the POGIL model is effective in terms of students mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of principal leadership on teachers' work motivation. Leadership is an important social process to achieve the common good in society, including in education. Government Regulation No 32 of 2013 stipulates eight education standards, including educator competency standards. This research focuses on how much influence the principal's leadership has on teachers' work motivation at Primary School 11st Tulang Bawang Tengah. This research is a quantitative study using a correlational research design, while the data analysis technique uses normality test and product moment correlation. The results of this study found that the principal's sample on 10 teachers who were sampled obtained an average value of 70, median of 72.625, mode of 72 with a standard deviation of 13.265. While the results of teacher work motivation from the data obtained an average value of 77.8, a median of 77.5, a mode of 74.5, and a standard deviation of 27.72. Testing the product moment correlation rxy = 0.976 is greater than rtabel so it is known that at the 5% significance level = 0.444 and at the 1% significance level = 0.561, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The future of a nation is tied to the quality of its education, which teachers play a crucial role in realising. This study analyses the principal's role in improving teacher discipline and motivation at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School, and its effect on the quality of education. The study used qualitative research methodology, utilising literature review and interviews as the main tools for data collection and analysis in exploring the principal's role in improving teachers' discipline and motivation at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School. The findings show that principals have an important role in creating a conducive learning environment and motivating teachers through various strategies, such as building a positive school culture, recognising performance, providing self-development opportunities, and providing support in facing teaching challenges. At Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School, the principal has shown her commitment through various efforts, such as regular meetings, training, clear rules and rewards. These efforts show the principal's commitment to improving the quality of education at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School. Success in improving teacher discipline and motivation will have a positive impact on the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading interest on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung, Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency for the academic year 2021/2022. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design which is used to determine the effect of a treatment on research subjects. The samples in this study were all students of class II SD Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram South Lampung, totaling 33 students. The data of this study were obtained from the pretest and post-test scores, with 15 multiple-choice instruments as the instrument. The results of hypothesis testing obtained the value of tcount≥ttable, namely 2.6889 2.042. Then Ho is accepted which means there is an influence interest in reading on the learning outcomes of students in class II Merbau Mataram, South Lampung.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type group investigation assisted by three-dimensional media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Jati Indah South Lampung. This type of research is a qualitative type of pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest posttest. The population in this study were fifth grade students of SDN 1 Jati Indah South Lampung. The probability sampling technique of simple random sampling type was used as a sampling technique. Tests and documentation were used in data collection methods and equipment. T-test (paired sample t-test) is the method to analyze the data. The results showed the t-count of 10.778 with the level of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Also reinforced by the average results of pretest 63.3 and posttest 73.5. Based on this, that there is an effect of cooperative learning model type group investigation assisted by three-dimensional media on mathematics learning outcomes.
