Abstract

The term "swearing words" refers to diction that is deemed taboo, unpleasant, cursing, and restricted in discourse. However, there is no way to avoid it. It has so existed since the beginning of human spoken communication and continues to this day. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the swearing phrases in one of the holy scriptures, the holy Quran. This was done to determine whether swearing words exist in the sacred place or not. The researchers collected data by reading scripture and noting each indicated verse. The efforts were done three times to measure there was no any single datum which was left. Next, a data selection process was carried out to ensure the accuracy of the data by consulting Al Tabari's Tafseer book. After collecting a large amount of data, the researchers conducted a thorough analysis to determine: 1) the function of swearing words and 2) the origin of swearing phrases as depicted in holy text. The investigation revealed that there are two roles of cursing. According to the findings, the swear words acquired are employed to insult, to curse, and show furious emotions. The second discovery is that swearing words can come from five different sources. The categories are animal, mental, physical, safety, and respectability.Keywords: Swearing words, Holy Scripture, Qur’an.

Abstract

This study discusses digital-based fundraising and financial services in the management of zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS). In this process, strategies and data related to distribution, calculation, management, and disbursement of funds often pose challenges. This issue is particularly evident in LAZISMU Bangka Belitung, which has yet to establish a website for large-scale online fundraising and for providing information about its available programs.   Currently, the process of fundraising and ZIS management is still carried out conventionally. Therefore, this study proposes a digital system for LAZISMU that can provide information, manage ZIS, and facilitate digital payments through an integrated payment gateway. This innovation aims to make it easier for the public to fulfill their zakat obligations and access information about the fund distribution programs available at LAZISMU Bangka Belitung. The method used in developing this system is a prototype. The results of the study indicate that the developed system can simplify the process of fundraising and managing ZIS digitally. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the efficiency of zakat management and have a broader positive impact in supporting communities in need.

Abstract

Zakat is a mandatory practice carried out by Muslims in accordance with the provisions of Islamic religious teachings (must enter Nishob and haul), zakat is included in the 3rd pillar of Islam is done after prayer. The difference with Infak is that anyone can do it by donating part of their wealth for good. Infak and shodaqah zakat funds are managed by the Amil Zakat Agency or the legal Amil Zakat Institution from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the Zakat and Infak funds managed by BAZ/LAZ can be used for scholarship programs, to improve the status of the underprivileged through education. The service office of Lemabaga Amil Zakat Infak and Shodaqah Muhammadiyah (Lazismu) Unmuh Babel has a program, namely the Sang Surya Scholarship. This research aims to find out the usefulness of zakat and infak funds managed by KL Lazismu Unmuh Babel for the Sang Surya Scholarship program. The research method used was qualitative descriptive, the data source used primary data in the form of questionnaire results and in-depth interviews, while secondary data was obtained from documents about the scholarship of the solar KL Lazismu Unmuh Babel. This research produced; Zakat and infak funds managed by KL Lazismu Unmuh Babel provide benefits for students, parents and the campus, because with this scholarship students are helped to pay their tuition fees/SK/UKT to continue their studies and can improve their degree through education.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi bagi anak putus sekolah untuk melanjutkan sekolah. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Batu Beriga Kecamatan Lubuk Besar Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Program ini dilakukan melalui metode sosialisasi dan diskusi. Target capaian dari program ini peserta memiliki kesadaran mengenai pentingnya peranan pendidikan dan kelanjutan sekolah formal dan non-formal memperoleh pengetahuan baru serta dapat termotivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan yang terputus. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian diperoleh bahwa dari peserta yang hadir, dapat diketahui bahwa mayoritas peserta tidak merasa bangga karena tidak menyelesaikan sekolah yaitu sebesar 67%. Sedangkan jumlah peserta yang tidak ingin melanjutkan sekolah lagi hanya mencapai 17% dari peserta yang hadir sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah dilakukan pemaparan internalisasi nilai pendidikan, 83% peserta yang hadir masih ingin melanjutkan sekolah.
