Abstract

The aim of this article was to describe how the principles, objectives, the function and approach of supervision, as well as how the head of madrasah carries out the planning, implementation and follow-up of academic supervision at madrasah. The researchers used literature review. The step was to trace the printed and electronic references regarding the supervision of madrasah principals in general, then narrow it down to the sub-focus of the discussion, namely the academic supervision of madrasah principals. Once deemed sufficient, the authors describe it systematically. The findings of this study showed that academic supervision was an effort to help teachers develop their abilities in achieving learning goals. The essence of academic supervision was not any assessing the performance of teachers in managing the learning process, but helping teachers  to develop their professional abilities. Academic supervision that must be carried out by the principal of madrasah includes: planning an academic supervision program, carrying out academic supervision, following up on the results of academic supervision aimed at increasing the professionalism of teachers as professional educators.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam pada era multikultural menuntut adanya transformasi yang tidak hanya bersifat struktural, tetapi juga nilai. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah belum terintegrasinya nilai-nilai humanis secara sistematis dalam praktik kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam, terutama dalam konteks masyarakat yang beragam secara budaya dan keyakinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji konsep, landasan, serta strategi implementatif nilai-nilai humanis dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam multikultural. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research) dan analisis hermeneutik terhadap teks keislaman serta referensi ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai seperti empati, rahmah, keadilan, dan partisipasi merupakan bagian integral dari kepemimpinan Islam, dan ketika dipadukan dengan pendekatan multikultural, dapat memperkuat iklim pendidikan yang inklusif dan adil. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pembaruan kurikulum kepemimpinan, penguatan budaya sekolah inklusif, dan peningkatan literasi multikultural di kalangan pemimpin pendidikan. Integrasi nilai-nilai humanis merupakan kunci untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan Islam di era pluralisme dan globalisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the synergy between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and the modern economy through the revitalization of the four prophetic traits of Prophet Muhammad PBUH namely is shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah, as an alternative approach to shaping the economic character of Generation Z. The research was conducted using a library research method by reviewing various relevant literature to develop a transformative and applicable educational model. The findings indicate an urgent need to redesign PAI learning so that it becomes more adaptive to technological advancements and capable of fostering active student engagement in understanding socio-economic dynamics. Furthermore, the contribution of this revitalization in the PAI learning system should be thoroughly formulated and implemented to produce a generation that is not only spiritually devout but also competent, possesses integrity, and is committed to social justice and sustainability. On the other hand, there are several foundational tasks that must be addressed prior to its realization. These include the need for curriculum enhancement programs, increased professionalism among all educational components, and the development of an integrative evaluation system to help establish a dignified Islamic economic system.

Abstract

Al-Khamr is one of the Arabic words found in the Qu’'an that gives a variety of interpretations because it is a term that refers to the nature of a thing. Many Islamic scholars of the past and present provide different understandings based on context and concept. This different understanding has an impact on the legal derivatives of khamr itself. This article tries to examine slowly using the theory of signs and grammar so as to produce basic concepts and applied concepts. Resulting in an understanding that khamr is not only a drink resulting from processed or fermented wine and so on. Understanding Khamr can be an object or a condition both environment and system that has caused the closing of the mind so that humans as intelligent beings can no longer think in their nature. Abstract

The diversity of Indonesian society in terms of religion, culture, ethnicity, and language demands an education system that is able to foster an inclusive, tolerant, and fair attitude in differences. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role in forming characters that are not only religious, but also able to live side by side harmoniously in society. The purpose of this study is to describe the integration of Islamic religious education with pluralism and multiculturalism and the role of Islamic religious education as an agent of positive change. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method analyzing various libraries and academic sources related to the integration of Islamic religious education (PAI) with pluralism and multiculturalism. Data sources in this study consist of secondary data in the form of books and journal articles that are relevant to the research and data analysis techniques using a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Islamic religious education (PAI) with pluralism and multiculturalism through inclusive learning, interfaith dialogue, development of multicultural skills, teaching universal values, awareness of Human Rights, in-depth educator training is very important in forming an attitude of mutual respect, tolerance and appreciation of differences, so as to reduce exclusive, radical, and intolerant attitudes. The role of Islamic Religious Education as an agent of positive change includes the formation of individual character, Islamic Religious Education as an agent of social change, the role of Islamic Religious Education institutions. The conclusion of this writing is that the integration of Islamic Religious Education with pluralism and multiculturalism must be carried out holistically, wisely, and contextually to be relevant to the conditions of a diverse Indonesian society, and to be able to form a future generation that is tolerant and lives side by side harmoniously.

Abstract

Epistemologi Islam merupakan bidang kajian yang menelaah hakikat, sumber, dan batas pengetahuan dalam kerangka keislaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komparatif pemikiran epistemologis tiga tokoh besar dalam tradisi filsafat Islam klasik, yaitu Ibnu Sina, Al-Ghazali, dan Ibnu Rusyd. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan analisis komparatif-filosofis, yakni menelaah karya utama ketiga tokoh seperti Al-Syifa’ (Ibnu Sina), Tahafut al-Falasifah dan Ihya’ Ulum al-Din (Al-Ghazali), serta Tahafut al-Tahafut (Ibnu Rusyd). Data dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi persamaan, perbedaan, serta relevansi pemikiran mereka terhadap perkembangan epistemologi Islam dan ilmu pengetahuan modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiganya memiliki landasan epistemologis yang berbeda namun saling melengkapi. Ibnu Sina menekankan rasionalitas dan proses intelektual sebagai jalan menuju pengetahuan; Al-Ghazali menempatkan intuisi dan iluminasi spiritual sebagai puncak pengetahuan hakiki; sementara Ibnu Rusyd berusaha mengharmonikan akal dan wahyu, menolak dikotomi antara filsafat dan agama. Ketiganya memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap pengembangan ilmu dan etika berpikir dalam Islam. Implikasi kontemporernya terlihat pada pentingnya integrasi antara rasio, etika, dan spiritualitas dalam pendidikan dan riset ilmiah modern, guna membentuk manusia yang berilmu sekaligus berakhlak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam konsep epistemologi dalam pemikiran tiga tokoh utama Islam klasik, Ibnu Sina, Al-Ghazali, dan Ibnu Rusyd, serta menelaah relevansinya terhadap rekonstruksi pendidikan Islam modern. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari krisis epistemologis dalam pendidikan Islam kontemporer yang ditandai oleh fragmentasi antara dimensi rasional, spiritual, dan wahyu. Krisis tersebut mengakibatkan orientasi pendidikan Islam kehilangan keseimbangan antara pengembangan intelektual dan pembentukan moral-spiritual.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dan analisis filosofis-komparatif. Data dikumpulkan dari karya-karya primer seperti Al-Shifa’ dan Al-Najat (Ibnu Sina), Ihya’ Ulum al-Din dan Al-Munqidz min al-Dhalal (Al-Ghazali), serta Fashl al-Maqal dan Tahafut al-Tahafut (Ibnu Rusyd), yang kemudian dianalisis melalui proses identifikasi, perbandingan, dan sintesis konseptual.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ibnu Sina menegaskan rasionalitas demonstratif (burhānī) sebagai sarana pencapaian pengetahuan hakiki, Al Ghazali mengedepankan iluminasi intuitif (kasyf) melalui penyucian jiwa sebagai jalan menuju pengetahuan ilahiah; sedangkan Ibnu Rusyd menawarkan sintesis epistemologis melalui harmonisasi akal dan wahyu menggunakan metode ta’wīl. Ketiganya membentuk kerangka epistemologi Islam yang komplementer antara akal, hati, dan wahyu.Secara konseptual, temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi pemikiran ketiga tokoh tersebut relevan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan Islam transformatif yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada penguasaan kognitif, tetapi juga pada pembentukan kesadaran moral dan spiritual menuju terwujudnya insan kamil. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan arah baru bagi rekonstruksi epistemologi pendidikan Islam di era modern.
