Abstract

Politeknik LP3I Marelan merupakan institusi pendidikan vokasi bisnis dan teknologi. Coaching Clinic IT diadakan oleh Politeknik LP3I Marelan sebagai kegiatan pengabdian dosen yang diselenggarakan oleh kepala kampus untuk mendukung kepala marketing dalam meningkatkan jumlah aplikan yang regist pada tahun 2023. Coaching Clinic ini bertujuan memberikan pembimbingan singkat dalam bentuk pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk penguasahaan pengetahuan dan kecakapan di bidang teknologi komputer. Seminar Coaching Clinic IT ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa siswa SMK/SMA untuk mengembangkan potensi dan skill terkait IT yang mereka miliki sehingga kedepannya mampu beradaptasi terhadap perkembangan pesat dunia digital. Seminar ini salah satu upaya untuk menarik para lulusan SMK/SMA agar tertarik mendaftarkan dirinya di Prodi Teknologi Komputer dan Teknologi Rekayasa Komputer. Kegiatan ini terlaksana karena kerjasama antara seluruh anggota kelompok pengabdian masyarakat dalam menjalankan kegiatan serta dukungan berbagai pihak terutama Direktur Politeknik LP3I Medan dengan harapan dapat berlanjut di lain kesempatan dengan berbagai materi seminar lainnya.

Abstract

This study explores the use of digital mapping technology to optimize waste transportation routes in Malang City, Indonesia. By utilizing GIS (Geographic Information System) applications, this study aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste transportation costs. Through field observation and statistical analysis methods, it was found that this technology can reduce travel distance by up to 15% and travel time by up to 25%. These results show significant potential in reducing operational costs and carbon emissions, as well as supporting environmental sustainability goals. However, challenges such as workforce resistance to new technologies and limited costs and data access still need to be addressed through training and supportive policies. This study provides important implications for waste managers and local governments to design more efficient and environmentally friendly waste management strategies, and encourage wider adoption of digital technologies. These findings offer evidence-based recommendations for policy makers to improve the quality of urban waste management through technological innovation.

Abstract

This research designs a web-based application that utilizes Machine Learning technology to predict the risk of possible heart disease with algorithms. This research aims to develop a web-based application that uses Machine Learning technology with the Decision Tree algorithm to predict the risk of heart disease. The research process begins with the collection of relevant medical data used in the training of Machine Learning models. Next, the web application is integrated with IBM Cloud services such as Watson Studio and IBM Cloud Object Storage to store user data and access configured Machine Learning algorithms for heart disease prediction. The data is processed and auto-configured using Machine Learning services from IBM Cloud, then the Machine Learning model is trained with Decision Tree algorithm using the processed dataset. As a result, a web application was successfully developed and integrated with IBM Cloud services, capable of providing heart disease prediction with sufficient accuracy. The application's simple and user-friendly interface allows users to easily access the heart disease prediction service without requiring in-depth technical knowledge. Thus, this research successfully created a solution that can assist in the early diagnosis of heart disease, provide direct benefits to the community, and expand access to heart health information widely. This application is built using the Flask framework and integrated with Machine Learning services from IBM Cloud. The use of the Decision Tree algorithm with an accuracy of 91.9% is based on a dataset that is processed and configured automatically using Machine Learning services from IBM Cloud.

Abstract

AMH (Literacy Rate) is the percentage or proportion of individuals in a population who have the ability to read and write. In particular, literacy rates are often used to measure the literacy level of a region or country. Literacy rates are one of the important things for economic growth and reducing poverty rates. AMH is also a factor that influences life expectancy. This research aims to predict the percentage of AMH aged 15 years and over using the K-Near Neighbor (KNN) method specifically in the Sulawesi Island area, namely Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and Gorontalo. This classification uses data taken from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia, namely data on the AMH percentage of the population aged over 15 years in the Sulawesi Island area in 2017-2023. The working principle of K-Nearest Neighbor is to find the shortest distance between the test data and the training data. The results of this research showed the prediction of the percentage of AMH (literacy rate) of the population aged over 15 years in the Sulawesi Island area in the following year (2024). Meanwhile, test results using MAPE show that the prediction of the AMH percentage in 2024 by the KNN algorithm has quite good accuracy. The MAPE calculation results for the prediction of the AMH percentage in 2024 are 0.594307365%.

Abstract

The rapid of information and competition in the world of the internet has caused the website reksanusindosejahtera.com disappear on the first page of Google Search Results and queries. Therefore, it has less viewers and subscribers. Search Egine Optimization (SEO) is a method that will be used to overcome the issue of viewers and subscribers on a website. This research applies Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by using two tools, Google Console and Google Analytics, to optimize keyword searches. The aim of this research is to assist the website in appearing on the first page of Google Search results, thereby maximizing business outcomes. The results of website optimization are based on the analysis and implementation of this method; the main page of the website with the primary keyword reksanusindo.com has been indexed by search engines and appears on the first page of Google search results. It can be confirmed that the statistics for website visits have increased than the previous numbers. Furthermore, this website will continue to be optimized to achieve even better results.

Abstract

PT Reksa Nusindo Sejahtera is a medical appliances company that sells health and medical devices for personal and public use. PT Rekza Nusindo sells medical appliances by implementing web-based applications to enhance its own branding. However, the provision of information on the website pages is often a question for its consumers so it seems that web-based applications are still less interactive in serving consumers within 24 hours. The AI chatbot will be implemented to support the information service at the PT Reksa Nusindo Sejahtera. PT Recsa Nusindos use the AI Chatbot service to make much more efficient, increase customer satisfaction and improve operational efficiency. The design of AI chatbots using the Watson Assistant Service will be deployed on the website of PT reksa nusindos to support information and respond to questions asked by consumers related to medical appliances quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Pandemi covid sangat berdampak bagi dunia pendidikan karena menyebabkan terbatasnya interaksi dosen dan mahasiswa. Kegiatan belajar dan mengajar terhambat sehingga kegiatan mengajar offline beralih menjadi online baik perkuliahan, seminar dan tugas akhir. Pandemi juga berdampak pada kualitas karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Mahasiswa harus mengecek plagiasi dari karya ilmiah agar terciptanya karya tulis yang berkualitas. Mahasiswa yang akan menghadapi Tugas Akhir mengalami kesulitan dalam penulisan daftar rujukan karena masih dilakukan secara manual dan mahasiswa juga belum mengenal aplikasi Referensi. Salah satu aplikasi referensi yang banyak digunakan adalah aplikasi Mendeley. Aplikasi Mendeley digunakan pada sosialisasi untuk mengatur kutipan penelitian, pustaka digital pribadi, mengatur dan membuat anotasi dokumen serta saling berkolaborasi dan berbagi dengan kolega secara online. Aplikasi Mendeley sebagai platform yang mendukung MS Windows, Mc, dan linux digunakan dalam sosialisai panduan Tugas Akhir Tahun 2022 dan Implementasi Mendeley pada Tugas Akhir Program Studi Teknik Komputer.

Abstract

Vocational high school students who have graduated from vocatonal hight school always have difficulty deciding between going straight to work or continuing their studies. Major selection is included in the educational process, which has the scope of determining future career success. The study program chosen must be in accordance with the interests and abilities possessed by students. This community service trains vocational or high school students to gain skills in designing a 3D butterfly animation. This community service aims to promote the Computer Technology Study Program to SMK or SMA students so that they are interested in registering at the Medan LP3I Polytechnic. The method used is the lecture and training method. The Powepoint 2019 application is used in the material, while the 3D Max Application is used to design butterfly animations

Abstract

This research develops an expert system for troubleshooting LAN networks using the forward chaining method at SMK PGRI Lumajang. With numerous devices connected simultaneously, including computers, tablets, and smart devices, the network may become congested, leading to slow data transfer and connectivity issues. This is especially problematic during peak hours when students and staff access online resources concurrently. The forward chaining method is an artificial intelligence approach in which the system uses given facts to reach a solution. Expert systems have become an important instrument in solving technical problems in various fields, including computer networks. This research discusses the development of an expert system for troubleshooting web-based LAN networks using the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method is an approach used in artificial intelligence where the system uses given facts to reach a conclusion or solution. Expert systems are developed by using web-based technology, allowing easy and fast access for users in various locations. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in handling LAN network troubleshooting problems at SMK PGRI Lumajang. Apart from that, it is also hoped that the application of the expert system can become a reference and guide for network technicians in solving complex problems

Abstract

Before carrying out learning and teaching activities in the computer lab, the thing that needs to be considered is the presence of students. Absence is something that must be done by lecturers and students to find out the number of attendance. The presence of students is used as a parameter for evaluating lecturers and the academic section to determine whether students are allowed to take the midterm and final exams. The output of this study is an IoT-Based attendance system using data storage on Google Spreadsheet and Smart Door Locks in the computer lab. In this study using a 3 x 4 keypad, arduino uno, and jumper cables.The tools used to retrieve attendance data are nodeMCU, Card Reader, Jumper Cable, LCD and Google Spreadsheet as data storage.
