Abstract

Mahasiswa Program Study Teknik Elektro Bersama para dosen dan alumni melakukan kunjungan industri ke PLTA SIGURA-GURA PT. INALUM dengan tujuan utama memberikan pemahaman langsung kepada mahasiswa tentang proses pembangkitan listrik dari sumber energi air. Mahasiswa akan melihat secara langsung bagaimana air diubah menjadi energi listrik melalui proses di PLTA, termasuk proses penampungan air, pembangunan bendungan, pengaturan aliran air, dan konversi energi kinetik menjadi Listrik. Dengan memahami tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan kunjungan ke PLTA dapat memberikan pengalaman yang bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa teknik elektro Universitas Darma Agung dalam memahami peran energi terbarukan dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan kesadaran mereka terhadap isu-isu lingkungan global. Electrical Engineering Study Program students together with lecturers and alumni made an industrial visit to the SIGURA-GURA PLTA PT. INALUM with the main aim of providing direct understanding to students about the process of generating electricity from water energy sources. Students will see firsthand how water is converted into electrical energy through hydropower processes, including the process of storing water, building dams, regulating water flow, and converting kinetic energy into electricity. By understanding the main objective of this service activity, it is hoped that a visit to the PLTA can provide a useful experience for electrical engineering students at Darma Agung University in understanding the role of renewable energy in sustainable development and increasing their awareness of global environmental issues.

Abstract

The method of calculating the volume of fuel oil using standard 15⁰ C is one of the methods used internationally in calculating the volume of handover transactions. To standardize the calculation of fuel volume in various weather conditions, there are several fuel calculation methods, namely the Observed calculation method, th calculation method in standard 15⁰ C, the calculation method in barrels and the calculation method in long tons. For the calculation method that is suitable for use in Indonesia is the standard volume calculation method of 15⁰ C, so that in extreme weather conditions or temperature differences, the volume calculation can still be accommodated even though the difference is very significant. In this case, we take a sample calculation of the volume of MFO fuel oil through the Moto Tanker at the Belawan PLTU Jetty Port. From the measurement results, the overall volume was 4,802,983 liters of Observed, and at a standard volume of 15⁰ C, a volume of 4,747,268 liters of standard 15⁰ C was obtained. From these results, the difference between the Observed volume and the standard volume of 15⁰ C was 55,715 liters or equivalent to 1.16% of the volume Observed. So it can be concluded that the standard volume value of 15⁰ C is 1.16% smaller than the Observed volume and the standard volume of 15⁰ C will always be lower than the Observed volume. For this reason, the standard volume calculation method of 15⁰ C is a very suitable method for calculating the volume of fuel oil.

Abstract

Cakupan pelayanan dalam system komunikasi bergerak adalah berupa lingkungan yang memiliki permukaan tidak teratur. Oleh karena itu menghitung redaman lintasan propagasi radionya membutuhkan perhitungan yang kompleks. Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir telah dikembangkan beberapa model propagasi secara empiris oleh para ahli untuk perencanaan jaringan komunikasi bergerak. Adapun diantaranya adalah model okumura, model hatta, dan diperoleh hasil analisa perhitungan rugi-rugi propagasi dan penerimaan daya pada sisi receiver dengan menggunakan metode okumura yang diimplementasikan dengan Lokumura  = 139,1 dB dengan penerimaan daya pada sisi receiver sebesar Pr = -971 dBm Kata kunci : Sinyal, Propogasi, Permodelan,  Model OkumuraAbstract—Service coverage in a mobile communication system is in the form of an environment that has an irregular surface. Therefore calculating the attenuation of the radio propagation path requires complex calculations. In the last decades several propagation models have been developed empirically by experts for planning mobile communication networks. Abstract

Salah satu pilihan untuk memanfaatkan sumber energi saat ini adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga air. Ini adalah salah satu jenis pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH) terbaik yang dapat dikembangkan di lingkungan alam Indonesia karena kebutuhan energi yang terus meningkat. Turbin pelton adalah salah satu jenis turbin air yang paling umum digunakan. Banyak faktor memengaruhi kinerja turbin pelton. Ketinggian (kepala), kecepatan aliran, sudut sudu, jumlah nozzle, kecepatan aliran, dan jumlah sudu adalah semua bagian dari ini. Ketersediaan fasilitas yang diperlukan untuk proses pembelajaran di perkuliahan sangat penting dalam konteks pendidikan. Untuk membandingkan hasil uji dengan hasil teori, diperlukan alat peraga Turbin Pelton Prototype. Di Laboratorium Pengujian Mesin Universitas Darma Agung, fungsi komponen prototipe Turbin Pelton harus diperbaiki dan dioptimumkan. Selanjutnya, variasi pengoperasian (ukuran diameter bukaan nozzle) dan kecepatan aliran yang berbeda selama pengujian memengaruhi daya dan efisiensi kerja turbin.

Abstract

This study aims to determine electronic learning (e-learning) to improve students' analytical skills during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research population is the first semester students of the University in Medan City with the sample taken at random. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation studies, and analytical thinking skills tests, and were analyzed using paired sample t-test. This research shows the ineffectiveness of using e-learning as a substitute for conventional lectures (non-e-learning). But even so, the average analytical thinking ability of the e-leaning group is also quite large, namely 71.21 so e-learning is also quite good to use, but maybe not as a substitute for conventional learning, but as a supplement (additional) and/or complement. (complementary) learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and evaluate the impact of Main Duties and Functions and the Accounting Information System on the Accountability of Village Financial Management in the Villages of Sawit Seberang District Area, Langkat Regency. In this study, an associative technique was adopted. The six villages in the Sawit Seberang District of the Langkat Regency comprised the study's population. 42 participants from villages in the Sawit Seberang District of Langkat Regency made up the saturated sampling sample used in this study. In this study, questionnaires and observational methods were employed as data-gathering methods. This study's data analysis method is quantitative and employs statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, Auter model analysis, and inner model analysis. Processing data for this study.

Abstract

Management energi ini untuk mengetahui profil penggunaan energi suatu bangunan atau gedung dan mencari cara untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan energi tanpa mengurangi kenyamanan gedung atau bangunan. Audit energi membantu kami mengidentifikasi pola distribusi energi, yang memungkinkan kami untuk mengidentifikasi area mana yang paling banyak mengkonsumsi energi. Ini juga dapat menawarkan peluang untuk menghemat energi dengan meningkatkan efisiensi. Pada penelitian ini, audit energi listrik awal dilakukan di gedung PT Razza Prima Trafo. Audit ini berfokus pada sistem pencahayaan dan pendinginan ruangan. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan observasi dan konservasi energi. Dalam proses ini, audit energi dimulai dengan pertemuan awal dan wawancara dengan karyawan untuk melihat peluang penghematan energi. Menghitung nilai IKE gedung setelah data dikumpulkan dan diproses, evaluasi dimulai. Gedung PT Razza Prima Trafo memiliki peluang penghematan energi low cast, yang menghasilkan penghematan 273,4 kilowatt-jam atau Rp 2.716,585 per bulan dengan menggunakan rekomendasi penghematan energi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi konsumsi energi listrik sebesar 31,11 kilowatt-jam per tahun dan penghematan energi listrik sebesar 2,60 kilowatt-jam per bulan. Ini mengubah kategori gedung ber-AC yang efisien menjadi kategori gedung ber-AC yang sangat efisien

Abstract

Bahan bakar energi yang penting untuk pembangkit listrik adalah memanfaatkan produk minyak bumi seperti minyak dan batu bara. Penggunaan bahan bakar dasar semakin meningkat setiap tahun dan simpanan bahan bakar utama semakin habis/berkurang. Dalam menggerakkan suatu pembangkit diperlukan energi alternatif yang sumbernya tidak akan habis dan dapat menurunkan pemanfaatan turunan minyak bumi. Sumber ini adalah energi baru dan terbarukan. Untuk menjamin perkembangan energi baru dan terbarukan, penting untuk memprakirakan perkembangan energi baru dan terbarukan di Indonesia pada tahun 2030 dengan menggunakan ANFIS. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam memprakirakan perkembangan energi baru dan terbarukan di Indonesia pada tahun 2030 adalah sebesar 3.369,79 MW.

Abstract

Jakarta, as a rapidly growing urban area, faces challenges in balancing energy demand with supply while addressing environmental concerns associated with traditional energy sources. Electrical energy production prediction in urban environments like Jakarta is crucial for effective energy management, ensuring stable supply, and promoting sustainable development. The prediction of electrical energy production in Jakarta is critical for ensuring stable and sustainable energy supply. This research proposed the application of the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) as a predictive tool specifically tailored for Jakarta's energy production prediction context. The research methodology used in this study is the ANFIS. Five levels make up the architecture of the ANFIS model: output, normalization, defuzzification, rule evaluation, and fuzzification. The fuzzification layer converts input variables into linguistic terms using membership functions, while the rule evaluation layer calculates the activation strength of each rule based on the input values. The predicted results of Jakarta electrical energy production from 2023 to 2028 are 65,288 GWh and there is an annual increase of 5.25%. The error contained in ANFIS is with a root mean square error (RMSE) value of 0.0001058% and a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) value of 0.00875%.

Abstract

In the industrial world, the motor winding process is one of the important stages in the manufacture and rewinding of electric motors. Many electric motors are damaged and even the motor can burn because in the operation of electric motors often serve loads that exceed the limits of the motor's ability (overload), contaminated with foreign objects, age, bearing problems, which can cause the effect of changing the current, causing heat which if left for a long time can cause burning of the motor wire winding. With the damage to the motor wire winding, a cost-effective solution that can be done is to rewind the motor wire. the motor rewinding process is carried out so that the winding can return to normal and work properly. The research was conducted using the experimental method. In the research, an automatic rolling device using an Arduino microcontroller was designed. The test results that the system can function normally in the process of inputting the value of the number of rolls, rolling driven by stepper motors and LCD has functioned properly in displaying each data on the system designed.
