Abstract

Abstrak— Suatu peralatan pengisi muatan baterai berbasis sel surya telah diperkenalkan dalam artikel ini. Peralatan tersebut digunakan untuk mengisi muatan baterai berkapasitas medium. Peraltan yang dibuat terdiri atas panel surya dengan daya puncak 50-WP yang terpasang pada konstruksi bersifat portable atau dapat dengan mudah dipindah-pindah, baterai asam-timbal 12V, 65 Ah dan unit pengendali pengisi muatan baterai muatan baterai atau charge controller. Panel surya mengisi muatan baterai melalui charge controller, selanjutnya energi yang tersimpan pada baterai dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghidupkan peralatan listrik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Charge controller mengisi muatan baterai yang diimplementasikan dengan memberi tegangan sebesar 13,5 Volt pada terminal-terminal baterai dan membatasi arus pengisian baterai sampai 1,5 Ampere. Rangkaian charge controller menggunakan komponen utama regulator tegangan LM338. Baterai asam-timbal yang digunakan adalah dari jenis sealed lead acid sehingga bebas perawatan dan lebih higinis dibandingkan dengan jenis baterai asam-timbal lainnya. Hasil pengujian pengisian dari pukul 08.00 sampai pukul 16.00 pada kondisi cuaca cerah terhadap baterai dengan kapasitas sisa 50% memperlihatkan bahwa panel surya telah dapat mengisi muatan baterai sampai penuh pada kondisi operasi yang aman bagi baterai tersebut.

Abstract

Distribution transformer is a component in distributing electricity from distribution substations to consumers. Damage to distribution transformers causes continuity of customer service to be disrupted (power cut or blackout occurs). The length of the PLN electricity network requires a transformer to distribute electricity to serve consumers and how to maintain the transformer. The daily load curve of a peak load for housing, shops and factories / industries varies. Load served 200 kVA distribution transformer cannot serve the load on housing, shops and factories / industry. The method used is the replacement of a distribution transformer with a capacity of one stage greater or the replacement of a distribution transformer with a capacity of two levels larger. The distribution transformer carried out by the research is a capacity of 200 kVA replaced by 250 kVA. The ability of a distribution transformer cannot accommodate a load which will increase as an area is advanced. Observations made by calculating the age of the transformer by assuming the annual load growth (r) = 3% = 0.3. Annual peak load (P) = 1.8 p, u increase in oil temperature at peak load (θo = 96.21 0C; 84.16 0C). The increase in the hottest temperature above the oil cover, the increase in the temperature of the hottest place above the oil (θg = 20 0C; 20 0C). The ratio of the load loss to the nominal load excitation loss (Q = 3; 30). By assuming the values of these methods it can be estimated that the life of a distribution transformer is 20 kV, a capacity of 200 kVA is 18 years.

Abstract

Electricity needs at airports are in dire need of backup and additional supplies apart from the main PLN source, such as generator sets. It is necessary to design a simple Automatic Transfer Switch that is connected to the main source operating failure indicator to a backup energy source. Research developed in order to provide benefits to airport operational management companies so that they are safe against energy needs in the event of an energy disturbance. Panel ATS is an abbreviation of the word Automatic Transfer switch, this tool serves to move the connection between one voltage source and another electrical voltage source automatically. The research was conducted by making ATS design. To ensure the design is appropriate and functioning properly, the panel tool is tested to function properly and can operate as desired. In carrying out the test, there are 3 ways, namely manual system testing on generator sets, manual system testing on modules and automatic systems. measurement data is carried out at the time of testing automatically as well as seeing the function of each component running well. The results of the design that have been made can be used as a backup energy source if the main energy source is disturbed or trouble shooting or in an emergency, even if the energy source can function when the airport is operating and does not interfere with airport operations. manual testing and automatic interchange switch can switch power sources to load with an average time of 4.09 seconds.

Abstract

Cargo is the goods transported by ship, aircraft or other types of transportation. Cargo is divided into three types of transportation, namely, air, land and sea. Cargo service is a special service for transporting goods using aircraft. This service can be organized by a regular airline that serves passengers, but can also be carried out by a specialized airline freight company. With the development of industrial automation technology, robots are needed to help meet their needs quickly. With this developed robotics technology to help alleviate human work in the future. Goods delivery robot is a robot created to help work in delivering goods to aircraft cargo. This robot can stuff automatically. This goods transfer robot uses the Internet of Things method that is already connected to a smartphone remote control based on an android application. Writing program code using Arduino IDE 1.8.9 and using Android as a robot control. This robot uses 4 channel line tracker sensors, 2 DC motors and motor drivers as controllers, Arduino uno as the brain in this robot system. The results of this study produce a prototype robot that can deliver goods into aircraft cargo in airports.

Abstract

The design is supported by several components such as the pump driving motor, control system, and sensors. The design is in the form of a miniature simulation or called a prototype on a small scale but with the same functionality and performance as the real size. A chip or integrated circuit (IC) technology is growing and becoming more sophisticated, thus providing opportunities for automation development through the Atmega 8 microcontroller. For example, car cleaning is done by human power. The idea arose to design and build a simpler but more useful automatic car wash system. The automatic car wash system uses a mechanical and electrical system that functions as a car wash tool that works automatically. By using several components such as ICs, capacitors, resistors, piezoelectric sensors, and Atmega 8 programmed with 12 volt and 5-volt power supplies. Based on the Atmega 8 microcontroller, the system works by pumping water and soap into the car and drying it with a blower. The input comes from the start user command, namely via the push-on button. Tests are carried out on all components connected to one system, when the start button is pressed the controller will start the car in the right position. The motor that drives the car starts and pulls the car inside. Then the water pump turns on automatically for 2 seconds to pour water into the car and is accompanied by spraying detergent for 2 seconds. After that, the car was rinsed with a cloth with a motor drive for 20 seconds. After that, the water is poured again into the car to clean the detergent residue for 5 seconds and then the last step is the drying process by a wind blower for 10 seconds until the car wash is finished.

Abstract

Beban non linier yang belum berbentuk gelombang sinusoidal telah terdistorsi oleh distorsi harmonisa arus. Beban non linier merupakan salah satu penyebab timbulnya distorsi yang dapat mengakibatkan kualitas daya listrik semakin buruk. Paper ini membahas hasil simulasi penggunaan filter tunggal yang disetel untuk mengurangi distorsi yang disebabkan oleh beban non linier akibat personal computer dan printer untuk pencetakan. Pengukuran menggunakan alat power quality analyzer fluke. Hasil pengukuran terhadap 4 merk PC yang berbeda menunjukan bahwa nilai beban non linier yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan. Beban personal komputer merk A dari THDi sebesar 120,7 % menurun menjadi 110,8% , merk B dari THDi sebesar 121,9% menjadi 109,9 %, merk C dari THDi sebesar 150,1% menurun menjadi 100,2 %, merk D dari THDi sebesar 176,2% menurun menjadi 104,1 %. Penurunan total harmonic distorsion arus setelah direduksi sebesar 0,8 – 1 %. Penggunaan filter berhasil menurunkan nilai THDi. Non-linear loads that have not been in the form of sinusoidal waves have been distorted by current harmonic distortion. Non-linear loads, one of the causes of distortion can cause the quality of electric power to get worse. Research on the simulation method uses a single filter as a filter that is adjusted to reduce distortion caused by non-linear loads using personal computers and printers for printing machines. Where the measurement uses a Fluke Power quality analyzer, the resulting non-linear load value is obtained on non-linear loads with personal computer loads brand A has a THDi of 120.7% decreasing to 110.8%, brand B THDi of 121.9% becomes 109.9%, the C THDi brand by 150.1% decreased to 100.2%, the D THDi brand by 176.2% decreased to 104.1% where the decrease in the total harmonic current distortion after reduction was 0.8 - 1%. The use of a filter was successful in lowering the THDi value.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu solusi untuk mengefisienkan penggunaan energi listrik di masyarakat dalam penggunaan Air Conditioner (AC) adalah merancang sebuah sistem switch otomatis untuk mendeteksi keberadaan manusia dan kondisi suhu pada suatu ruangan. Sistem alat kendali ini, menggunakan arduino nano sebagai pengendali, sensor passive infrared (PIR) untuk mendeteksi keberadaan manusia dan sensor suhu dan kelembaban DHT11 untuk mengetahui kondisi suhu pada ruangan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sebagai berikut: pembuatan skema hardware dan software, melakukan simulasi sistem elektronik pengumpulan data dan pengujian sistem. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat dijelaskan bahwa daya listrik pada alat kendali remote AC otomatis dengan waktu kerja 10 menit sekali sebesar 0,0004 kWH dan alat kendali remote AC otomatis dengan waktu kerja 15 menit sekali sebesar 0,0006.  Kata Kunci: Daya, Remote AC, Kendali Otomatis, Arduino

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the importance of scientific work skills in aviation vocational education in Indonesia using the Rasch Model. This research applies a mixed research methodology. The data collection tool in this study used reasoned test questions to uncover the argument skills of aviation vocational education cadets in Indonesia. The population taken in this study is aviation vocational education cadets in Indonesia. Sampling using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the analysis of reasoned question-answer analysis data entered with questionnaires are processed using the Winstep and Rasch Model applications. Analysis of cadet argumentation data is obtained at level 2 of 4 maximum levels. Argument skills at level 2 mean claiming with data. The results of deepening the scientific arguments of cadets obtained an alpha Cronbach value of 0.96 which belongs to a special category. The conclusion of Rasch model research applied to vocational education obtained cadet's argument skills on the plurality of claims with data.

Abstract

The need for electricity for both industry, offices, and the general public and individuals is greatly increasing. However, this increase in electricity demand was not accompanied by an increase in electricity supply. Based on these problems, solar energy is chosen as an alternative energy to produce electrical energy. The tools used here are solar cells, because they can directly convert solar radiation into electrical energy (photovoltaic process). So that solar energy can be used at night, during the day the electrical energy produced is stored first to a battery which is controlled by the regulator. The regulator output is directly connected to the inverter from DC to AC currents. The results of solar module testing (photovoltaic) show that the results of research with a 50WP solar cell can use a maximum load of 325 Watts. This is because the solar cell when following the direction of the sun's movement will always position the solar cell to remain facing the sun so that it will still be able to capture the sun's rays to the maximum.
