Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam merupakan tempat dimana pendidikan dalam kerangka Islam menunaikan tugasnya untuk mewujudkan keinginan umat Islam. Salah satu dari sekian banyak pesantren adalah Pondok Pesantren Thawalib Sumatera di Parabek yang terletak di Ladang Laweh oleh Jorong Parabek, Kecamatan Banuhampu, Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi. Pada tahun 2009, Pondok Pesantren Thawalib Parabek mengalami banyak perubahan infrastruktur: asrama putri dan putra 4 lantai, gedung sekolah megah 4 lantai, Rusunawa 4 lantai dan 5 lantai, Kampus II di Jambu Air (sekarang Ar-Raudah TK), sarana olah raga, laboratorium. Sains, bahasa, komputer, radio, ruang kelas dilengkapi infocus dan video surveillance, perpustakaan memiliki tempat penitipan anak (TPA) dengan gedung Islamic center. Dan juga pengembangan pendidikan dan pesantren Sumatera Thawalib Parabek berperan penting dalam masyarakat, baik dalam bidang dakwah dan agama, dalam bidang sosial dan ekonomi.

Abstract

Keberlangsungan pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar yang sangat penting bagi perkembangan intelektual, emosional, budaya, dan sosial siswa menjadi pokok bahasan penelitian ini. IPS menyusun contoh ide, perspektif, dan perilaku yang dapat diandalkan pada tingkat tunggal serta dalam kaitannya dengan masyarakat, bangsa, dan bahkan di seluruh dunia. Sebagai mata pelajaran yang mengkoordinasikan gagasan-gagasan dari berbagai disiplin ilmu sosiologi, humaniora, sains dan masalah sosial, pembelajaran ujian sosial di sekolah dasar memegang peranan penting. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaannya; Guru yang kurang menggunakan media pembelajaran dan tidak mempunyai sumber belajar yang cukup menyebabkan kesulitan belajar bagi siswa. Bagaimanapun, para pendidik telah menerapkan sistem dan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dalam proses pendidikan ujian sosial. Teknik inilah yang menjadi kunci bagi pendidik untuk benar-benar menyampaikan materi.

Abstract

Critical thinking is the ability to analyze and evaluate information logically. This research aims to test the validity, practicality and improvement of critical thinking of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 106162 Medan Estate using student worksheet based on critical thinking skills on the properties of light. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The research results show that the student worksheet based on critical thinking skills has high validity, good practicality, and can improve students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen that the validity of the student worksheet which was developed using a validation sheet and the average validator is 86, so that the student worksheet based on critical thinking skills is included in the very valid category criteria. The practicality of the Student worksheet was measured using an educator questionnaire sheet and the average student response was 85.49 in the very practical category. The effectiveness of the student worksheet is measured by looking at changes in the pretest and posttest results, which show an increase in students' critical thinking skills at a percentage of 65% in the quite effective category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that student worksheet based on critical thinking skills can be used as teaching material in student learning.

Abstract

Previous studies on the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model have primarily focused on cognitive aspects, such as learning outcomes and motivation. However, limited research has examined its effect on students' collaboration skills, particularly in the context of Indonesian language learning. This study aims to analyze the effect of the cooperative learning model of the TGT type on the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at MIN 3 Labuhanbatu Selatan. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample consisted of two classes, each with 26 students, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, and analyzed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results indicate a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The average post-test score of the experimental class was 75.92, while the control class scored 62.15. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the TGT model significantly improves students' collaboration skills in Indonesian language learning.
