Abstract

Based on the issue of character education which became a highlighted topic and saw the vital role of educational institutions in forming the character of the nation's generation, the author conducted research on Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Al-Hikmah as one of the institutions established with the spirit of forming the character of students by using Islamic education. The author conducted this research by using descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use the method of observation, interviews, and study documents which are then analyzed by interactive analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. In this study the authors describe the general description of TKIT Al-Hikmah, the results of program analysis based on observations, document review and interviews with relevant parties, and describe other factors that support the creation of character education in the school. The author concludes that the implementation of character education in TKIT Al-Hikmah is generally carried out by internalizing the values of Islamic education in the form of habituation programs, integration with learning carried out in daily programs and other supporting activities carried out one or two times in one school year. These programs are also supported by the exemplary teacher who always gives examples of good behavior, institutional intervention such as publishing programs and school regulations and optimizing the role of parents who are constantly striving to be in synergy with the school program.Sehubungan dengan permasalahan pendidikan karakter yang dewasa ini cukup menjadi perbincangan hangat serta menyoroti betapa vitalnya peran lembaga pendidikan  dalam pembentukan karakter anak bangsa, penulis melakukan penelitian pada Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Al-Hikmah sebagai salah satu lembaga yang didirikan dengan semangat pembentukan karakter  peserta didik  berbasis pendidikan Islam. Penulis melakukan penelitian ini dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen yang kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini penulis mendeskripsikan gambaran umum TKIT Al-Hikmah, hasil analisis program berdasarkan observasi, telaah dokumen dan wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait, serta mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor lain yang mendukung terciptanya pendidikan karakter di sekolah tersebut. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter di TKIT Al-Hikmah secara umum dilaksanakan dengan bentuk internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan islam yang dikemas dalam program-program pembiasaan, pengintegrasian dengan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dalam program harian serta kegiatan-kegiatan penunjang lainnya yang dilaksanakan satu atau dua kali dalam satu tahun pelajaran. Program-program tersebut juga didukung oleh keteladanan guru yang selalu memberikan contoh-contoh perilaku baik, intervensi lembaga dalam bentuk penerbitan program-program dan peraturan-peraturan sekolah serta optimalisasi peran orang tua yang terus diupayakan agar selalu sinergis dengan program sekolah

Abstract

This pupose is structured to describe Mohammad Natsir with his movements in educating people through their conceptions and practice directly in the world of da'wah and politics in the field. This research presents the struggle of Natsir in guiding the people with da'wah, then unifying all the potential of the people in the frame of ukhuwah, as well as efforts to keep da'wah with siyasah as a form of struggle for the creation of an ideal religious, national and state life. This research is carried out through a qualitative approach formed by the study of figures through relevant literature and presented in the form of historical chronological descriptions with a sequence starting from biographies, educational concepts, propaganda movements, efforts of people's unity, and practical political movements of Mohammad Natsir aimed at providing education to the people. Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan karakter seperti radikalisme, separatisme, penyalahgunaan narkoba, dan sebagainya dewasa ini cukup menjadi perbincangan hangat. Dalam hal ini, lembaga pendidikan terutama pendidikan Islam berperan vital dalam pembentukan karakter anak bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kurikulum yang digunakan dalam menginternalisasi karakter nasionalis dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses pendidikan karakter nasionalis dan berintegritas di MTs al-Ishlah Persis Kabupaten Majalengka. Subjek primer penelitian ini terdiri dari Mudirul Aam, Kepala Madrasah, pembimbing asrama, dan dokumen-dokumen MTs al-Ishlah Persis yang dilengkapi dengan sumber sekunder yaitu guru-guru, orang tua, murid, dan tokoh masyarakat sekitar madrasah. Sehubungan dengan itu, penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum yang digunakan adalah berorientasi pada moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action. Adapun faktor-faktor pendukung proses pendidikan karakter tersebut adalah status madrasah swasta dan berasrama sehingga proses pendidikan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan lokal. Sementara itu, faktor penghambatnya, yaitu indikator nilai-nilai karakter yang belum representatif, kurangnya aspek pedagogis pada guru, dan kurangnya kerja sama antara pihak madrasah dengan orang tua. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini adalah memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak madrasah untuk meningkatkan kualitas kurikulum dan strategi pengajaran guna membentuk karakter nasionalis dan berintegritas pada siswa, serta mendorong kerjasama yang lebih erat antara madrasah dan orang tua siswa.Abstract: Character problems such as radicalism, separatism, drug abuse, and so on are currently quite hot topics of discussion. In this case, educational institutions, especially Islamic education, play a vital role in forming the character of the nation's children. This research aims to identify the curriculum used to internalize nationalist character and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of education for nationalist character and integrity at MTs al-Ishlah Persis, Majalengka Regency. The primary subjects of this study consist of the Mudirul Aam, the Head of the Madrasah, the boarding school supervisors, and documents from MTs al-Ishlah Persis. This is supplemented by secondary sources, including teachers, parents, students, and community leaders around the madrasah. In this regard, this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data were then analyzed using triangulation techniques, including data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the curriculum used is oriented towards moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The supporting factors for the character education process are the status of private and boarding schools so that the education process is adapted to local needs. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are indicators of character values that are not yet representative, a lack of pedagogical aspects for teachers, and a lack of cooperation between the madrasah and parents. The benefits of this research include providing recommendations to the madrasah to enhance the quality of the curriculum and teaching strategies aimed at developing nationalist and integrity-based character in students and encouraging closer cooperation between the madrasah and parents.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the diversity of literature-based qualitative research applied in the study of religion and religiosity in Islam. Through descriptive qualitative research methods with library data collection, this research explores a variety of research that can be used in research on religion and diversity in Islam. The results show various research from various angles that can be applied in literature-based studies of religion and diversity in Islam. First, in terms of the type of research, namely the study of revelation texts, the study of figures' thoughts, textbook analysis, and historical studies. Second, in terms of research approaches, namely theological, anthropological, sociological, historical, interpretive, biographical research, hermeneutics, and artifact studies. The three research methods are descriptive, theoretical, comparative (muqaranah), historical and critical. Fourth, in terms of research data analysis, content analysis, discourse analysis, historical analysis, critical analysis, textual analysis, narrative analysis, and narrative analysis, thematic analysis, descriptive analysis, intertextual. The implication of this research is to enrich the insight of academics and researchers in choosing appropriate research methods for studying Islamic religion and diversity and encouraging the use of more varied, combinative, and in-depth qualitative research. The suggestions include integrating more interdisciplinary approaches, methods, and analysis in studying Islamic religion and diversity to produce more comprehensive findings relevant to current developments. In addition, researchers are expected to be able to develop analytical and critical skills in evaluating literature, which will help enrich academic discourse in this field.

Abstract

This research examines Habaib contribution to two crucial aspects of Indonesian history: the struggle for independence and education development. The research method used is a historical approach and document analysis to investigate the role of Habib in supporting the struggle for independence and the development of education in Indonesia. The research results show that Habib, as a religious and intellectual figure, had a significant role in spreading the values ​​of justice, unity and courage during the struggle for independence. Apart from that, they also play an essential role in establishing madrasas and other Islamic educational institutions, which play a crucial role in the education progress in Indonesia. This research aims to understand Habaib contribution to forming a pluralist and civilized modern Indonesia. The implications of this research show that Habaib contribution was not only limited to the period of the independence struggle but also continued in the development of education in Indonesia. Their role in establishing and managing educational institutions has created a strong foundation for inclusive and progressive national education. This research suggests the need for greater recognition and appreciation for Habaib contribution to the history of the struggle for independence and education in Indonesia. Further research could focus on individual Habaib contributions and their impact on local communities. Apart from that, integrating the values ​​taught by Habaib into the national education curriculum can be a strategic step to strengthen the nation's character and identity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku "Sikap Seorang Muslim dalam Menghadapi Virus Corona" karya KH. Aceng Zakaria. Sebagai seorang ulama yang berpengaruh, KH. Aceng Zakaria memainkan peran penting dalam membimbing masyarakat melalui ajaran-ajaran agama yang relevan dengan situasi pandemi. Buku ini mendorong masyarakat dalam menghadapi krisis kesehatan global untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter seperti religius, kerja keras, peduli sosial dan disiplin. Nilai-nilai tersebut tidak hanya relevan dalam konteks pandemi, tetapi juga dalam menghadapi berbagai krisis lainnya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ulama seperti KH. Aceng Zakaria adalah mitra strategis pemerintah dalam upaya menggerakkan dan mendisiplinkan masyarakat melalui pendekatan agama. Kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan ulama dapat memperkuat program-program penanganan krisis, mengingat pengaruh ulama yang besar dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran ulama dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan positif yang mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam membangun ketahanan dan solidaritas sosial di tengah berbagai tantangan.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the values ​​of character education contained in the book "Pepeling jeung Panggeuing" by KH Aceng Zakaria. This book, written in Sundanese, is a collection of advice from a leading scholar who has significantly contributed to education and moral development in society. The language used in this book is very persuasive and easy to understand, especially for the people of West Java. A qualitative approach with content analysis was used in this research to understand the moral and ethical messages contained in the book. Data was collected through an in-depth study of book texts and secondary references related to character education theory. The research results reveal several core values ​​taught in this book, namely the book "Pepeling jeung Panggeuing" which plays an important role in shaping readers' character through applicable and relevant advice. The book "Pepeling jeung Panggeuing" contains a collection of advice that makes people aware of negative actions and awakens the human mind so that they can rise from laziness and be more optimistic in living their lives. This book contains character education values, including religious character education, cooperation, tolerance, hard work and generosity. The implication is that this book can be used as a reference in the character education curriculum in schools and as a guide for families and communities in developing the morals of the younger generation. This research recommendation includes the development of a more integrative and adaptive educational program based on the values ​​contained in this book

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep punishment dalam perspektif hadis tarbawi, khususnya metode penerapan sanksi oleh Rasulullah SAW untuk mendidik sahabat. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka, data primer berupa hadis-hadis tarbawi dan data sekunder dari literatur terkait diolah menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian naratif, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Rasulullah SAW menerapkan punishment dengan prinsip kasih sayang dan keadilan, menyesuaikan tingkat sanksi dengan kesalahan yang dilakukan, serta bertujuan mendidik dan membentuk kesadaran moral. Dampak penelitian ini bagi pendidikan modern adalah sebagai inspirasi bagi pendidik dalam menegakkan disiplin yang tetap mengedepankan nilai-nilai pedagogis, sehingga dapat menciptakan individu berakhlak mulia dan disiplin tanpa melanggar prinsip-prinsip kemanusiaan. Kata Kunci: hadis-hadis tarbawi, pendidikan Islam, punishment

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to explore strategies for strengthening scientific traditions among the Asatidz of the Persis Al-Asma Sumedang Islamic Boarding School through the Dirasah El-Badr program. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this research to understand the dynamics and effectiveness of the strategies implemented in the program. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Asatidz, participatory observation during program implementation, as well as analysis of related documents. The research results show that Dirasah El-Badr is important in improving Asatidz's scientific competence through a comprehensive and continuous learning approach. This program strengthens scientific traditions because Asatidz are conditioned to continue learning by studying various Islamic literature and are used to writing thought constructions and discussing by arguing while still prioritizing adab. The challenges faced include limited resources, a busy schedule of activities, and the need to increase the number of libraries (maraji) in the form of classical books and books on contemporary Islamic studies. This research suggests increasing supporting facilities, increasing time allocation for scientific activities, and literature (maraji) in the form of classical Islamic books and books on contemporary Islamic studies. It is hoped that the findings of this research can provide practical guidance for other Islamic boarding schools that wish to strengthen scientific traditions among Asatidz.
