Abstract

Slayer Coffee Medan is a coffee shop located in Medan City that operates in the beverage industry focusing on processed coffee beverage products. The problems that occur at Slayer Coffee Medan are management and marketing. Slayer Coffee Medan was established in 2020, therefore it does not yet have business management and development using the BMC method and SWOT analysis which are used as analysis for management and marketing development. The conclusion of this study is based on the Business Model Canvas analysis with SWOT analysis that can be applied to Slayer Coffee Medan including the elements of Customer Segment, Value Propositions, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Partnerships and Cost Structure

Abstract

PT. XYZ Tbk Medan Branch is a manufacturing company that produces instant noodles. This company is located in Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. In facing competition in the current era of globalization, one of the efforts made by this company is to maintain the quality of the products produced so that they remain the main choice of consumers, from LKI data, the most frequent consumer complaints are in the packing section, namely 61.42%. This study aims to analyze worker fatigue at PT. XYZ in the packing section. The number of workers used as samples was 30 workers in the packing section, consisting of 6 seasoning checkers, 6 noodle sorters, 3 operators, 3 assistant operators, and 12 helper packers. Subjective work fatigue analysis used the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire method and workload measurements were carried out which were calculated based on the 10 pulse method. Work fatigue in the production area was light 10%, moderate 63.33% and heavy 26.67%. ​The Pearson correlation values for workload, age, gender, and years of service are 0.893 (very strong), 0.737 (strong), 0.436 (moderate), and 0.363 (low), respectively. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicate that workload is the most influential factor on work fatigue, with a tstatistic value of 6.389.

Abstract

Pemenuhan produk dengan kualitas dan hygiene yang baik menjadi tantangan bagi perusahaan dalam menjamin keamanan produk sesuai tuntutan konsumen. Salah satu upaya dalam menciptakan produk tersebut yaitu melalui penerapan GMP dan SSOP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis ketidaksesuaian antara penerapan GMP dan SSOP di PT. XYZ dengan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian RI 75/M-IND/PER/2010; (2) menganalisis faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian pada aspek GMP dan SSOP di PT. XYZ dan (3) merumuskan rekomendasi tindak lanjut pada penerapan GMP dan SSOP di PT. XYZ. Penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan data kualitatif yaitu menggunakan GAP Analysis untuk menganalisis ketidaksesuaian antara penerapan di perusahaan terhadap pedoman GMP dan SSOP, mengetahui faktor apa saja penyebab ketidaksesuaian aspek GMP dan SSOP menggunakan digram sebab akibat dan merumuskan rekomendasi tindak lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GMP dan SSOP yang dilakukan oleh PT. XYZ cukup sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian RI 75/M-IND/PER/2010. Hasil analisis formulir skoring menunjukkan rata-rata penerapan GMP sebesar 9,01% dan SSOP 16,52%. Jumlah tersebut menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan penerapan GMP dan SSOP di PT. XYZ cukup memenuhi pedoman. Berdasarkan hasil pengelompokan ketidaksesuaian GMP dan SSOP ditemukan 0 ketidaksesuaian minor, 2 ketidaksesuaian mayor dan 0 ketidaksesuaian serius. Hasil dari analisis diagram sebab akibat yaitu dari faktor man menunjukkan kurangnya kesadaran, pengetahuan, kepedulian, tanggung jawab, serta pengawasan. Rekomendasi tindak lanjut berdasarkan analisis 5W+1H terhadap ketidaksesuaian mayor diperoleh sebanyak 2 rekomendasi tindak lanjut.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the palm oil processing industry, producing various products derived from palm oil, with Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) as the raw material. One of the products resulting from the CPKO processing is Refined Bleached and Deodorized Palm Kernel Olein (RBDPKL). The products produced have a range of quality characteristics and quality standard specifications that have been established. However, in practice, the quality of the Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Kernel Olein (RBDPKL) produced by PT. XYZ at certain times still does not meet the company’s standard specifications. The Quality Loss Function method is one of the quality control methods used to determine the impact of product variation on production costs. This method provides a functional relationship between product deviations and losses. From the analysis and processing of data on two parameters, color and FFA, it was found that the raw material factor is the main cause of product defects. This is due to the presence of raw materials that do not meet the established standards. The company’s loss on the RBDPKL product, calculated using the "smaller the better" quality characteristic type, was found to be IDR 135,392,380

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan pengolahan minyak sawit dan turunannya, salah satunya lauric acid. Lauric acid merupakan bahan baku penting bagi berbagai industri, seperti industri kosmetik dan industri sabun. Dalam persaingan yang ketat, PT. XYZ perlu menjaga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Namun, dalam proses produksinya, sering ditemukan produk Out of Specification (OOS), yang mengharuskan adanya pengendalian untuk meminimalkan OOS dan menghemat biaya akibat pengolahan ulang produk OOS. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk pengendalian ini adalah metode Statistical Process Control (SPC), yang mengawasi proses produksi dari awal hingga akhir. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2024, total produk OOS mencapai 917.401 kg, dengan bulan Desember sebagai bulan tertinggi dengan 188.047 kg, dan bulan Oktober sebagai bulan terendah dengan 6.179 kg. Batas maksimal (UCL) tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing sebesar 0,048 dan 0,042, sedangkan batas minimal (LCL) tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing sebesar 0,039 dan 0,036. Faktor yang mempengaruhi OOS meliputi faktor manusia (kelalaian dan kelelahan), faktor material (suhu material), faktor lingkungan (musim panas dan hujan), faktor proses (kurang pengawasan dan jadwal padat), dan mesin (kerusakan). Rekomendasi perbaikan mencakup penambahan operator dan penguatan SOP, pemeriksaan suhu setiap 2 jam, pengontrolan kondisi lingkungan, penambahan sistem pendingin AHU dan exhaust fan, serta modifikasi sistem pendingin untuk menurunkan suhu air dalam proses automizer di spray tower dan pemeliharaan mesin setiap dua bulan sekali.
