Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Rengas Pulau mengalami kendala pada saat bermitra dengan perusahaan yang akan memasok produk tempe miliknya. Adapun penyebab dari kendala tersebut adalah masalah pengemasan produk yang belum terstandarisasi nasional, yaitu belum terdaftar BPOM, belum memiliki hak paten, dan kemasan yang kurang menarik perhatian konsumen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan pengabdian masyarakat pada UMKM tersebut untuk memperbaiki sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas kemasan produk dengan memberikan pelatihan terkait hal tersebut. Untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan, peneliti menyarankan pemilik UMKM untuk memasarkan produknya via Online melalui media sosial terkini. Ini merupakan salah satu langkah untuk mencapai usaha yang mengadaptasi Industri 4.0.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 merupakan wabah yang tak terduga dan disrupsi yang secara signifikan memengaruhi kinerja sistem manufaktur dan rantai pasokan di berbagai sektor. Dalam makalah ini, tinjauan literatur menyelidiki peran teknologi Industri 4.0 dan metode simulasi dalam mengatasi dampak krisis pandemi. Secara khusus, analisis bibliometrik memberikan gambaran tentang teknologi yang paling berpengaruh melalui studi tentang kata kunci yang paling banyak digunakan. Sementara dalam analisis jurnal terdahulu menyangkut studi kasus nyata penggunaan simulasi, menunjukkan bahwa sejauh ini simulasi memberikan dukungan di empat bidang utama: konsumsi energi, rantai pasokan kesehatan & pelacakan kontak, rantai pasokan makanan, dan manajemen rantai pasokan secara umum. Hasil utama dari penelitian ini adalah Industri 4.0

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the causes of failure of pulse tube filter production machines). The six big losses factor that has the greatest percentage of influence on losses time and needs to be repaired at reduced speed losses is equal to 41.66%, idling/minor stopage losses of 25.14% means the low performance efficiency of the pulse tube filter machine is caused by high failure that occurs thus affecting the level of effectiveness of the machine.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the components of the diaphragm, check valve, bleed valve and replenishing valve which are components that have the highest damage frequency of 50.64%. Treatment using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method shows that all critical component failure modes can be overcome by Condition Directed (CD). Furthermore, with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) as a maintenance method for critical components, a potential reduction of an average downtime of 34.025%.

Abstract

Rapid growth in the economy increases industry competition; if planning is done correctly, one of which is stock planning using the min-max stock method, the company's strategy to lower production costs, called efficiency, will occur. The goal of this study is to ascertain whether the min-max stock method is more effective for the examination of biodiesel auxiliary components. The findings showed that there was an excess of inventory for Methanol Auxiliary Materials (CH3OH) of 80.37 percent when only 19.63% was required using the Min-Max method. Specifically, PT. X's initial stock for 2019 was 416,185 kg, while safety stock calculated using the Min-Max method was 317,127.58 kg. In those two years, it was demonstrated that the amount of final inventory of HCl raw materials at PT. X is very large in comparison to inventory calculated using the min-max stock method and that the amount of final inventory of Catalist raw materials (CH3ONa) at PT. X is also very large.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pendapatan, wawasan, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan serta memberikan motivasi akan perubahan perilaku dalam manajemen pengolahan ampas dengan produk susu kedelai menjadi tepung ampas susu kedelai di UKM Susu Kedelai Mamak. Dimana tepung ini nantinya bisa mengganti tepung tapioka yang biasa digunakan UKM ini untuk membuat cemilan-cemilan lain seperti kerupuk. Selama ini ampas industri pembuatan susu kedelai hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak dengan harga yang sangat rendah. Teknologi pembuatan kerupuk dari ampas susu kedelai sangat sederhana, yaitu pengumpulan ampas dari susu kedelai, menyiapkan tepung tapioka dalam hal ini tepung tapioka diganti dengan tepung ampas kedelai, penyedap rasa, dan bawang putih, campurkan bahan-bahan hingga homogen, pengukusan adonan, pemotongan adonan, penjemuran dan penggorengan.

Abstract

This research analyzes the level of customer satisfaction at PT. Amartha Manunggal Prima uses the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) indices. The research results show that customers are satisfied with the company's services, with the tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance and empathy dimensions reaching 81%, 81%, 81%, 82% and 80% respectively. Assurance has the most significant influence on customer satisfaction, reflecting high satisfaction with facilities and other physical aspects. Analysis of the level of conformity between customer expectations and service performance shows that the company has fulfilled customer expectations well. The tangible dimension reached 85.51%, responsiveness 87.18%, reliability 85.25%, assurance 86.69%, and empathy 86.09%. The IPA results identify priority improvements in all dimensions of service quality, with a focus on the use of advanced technology and timeliness of service. Customers expect technological innovation to increase efficiency, accuracy and speed of service, as well as on-time delivery according to promised schedules. This research suggests that companies need to optimize operational processes, including better scheduling, effective inventory management, and improved logistics systems to reduce waiting times and increase service efficiency.

Inventory is an aspect of manufacturing operations to ensure the availability of raw materials while minimizing costs. PT. Permata Hijau Palm Oleo Belawan, a biodiesel company, faces challenges in balancing the inventory levels of key auxiliary raw materials such as Methanol, Catalyst, NaOH, Inventory is an aspect of manufacturing operations to ensure the availability of raw materials while minimizing costs. Excessive inventory results in high storage costs, while inventory shortages can disrupt production continuity. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Min-Max Stock method in optimizing auxiliary raw material inventory at PT. Permata Hijau Palm Oleo Belawan, addressing its practical impacts on cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the palm oil-based biofuel industry. This study uses a quantitative approach, utilizing historical data on the purchase and usage of raw materials during the 2019-2020 period. The Min-Max Stock method is applied to determine the optimal inventory level, comparing the actual inventory level with the calculated minimum and maximum thresholds. The implementation of the Min-Max Stock method can save storage costs of around IDR 35 billion. Abstract

In the industrial world, employee safety and comfort are crucial aspects that cannot be ignored. One factor that significantly affects these aspects is adequate workplace lighting. This study aims to evaluate the impact of light intensity and eye complaint factors on worker safety and comfort and provide recommendations for companies with lighting that does not meet the standards of the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation No.70 of 2016. The research method involves regression analysis and data collection through observation in the form of questionnaires and light measurement data, processed quantitatively, conducted at PT. X. Questionnaire results analyzed with linear regression testing indicate that light intensity in the shortening packaging and control rooms at PT. X negatively impacts employee safety and comfort, with a total effect of 80.8%. Based on direct measurements using a light intensity measurement tool (lux meter), the light intensity conditions in the shortening packaging and control rooms range from 103–267 lux. This intensity level does not meet the standard of 300 lux for production rooms, as stated in the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation No.70 of 2016. Thus, the company needs to control light intensity to prevent accidents and discomfort among employees caused by inadequate lighting conditions

Abstract

Food security is a major challenge for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) with limited resources and agricultural land. This study aims to optimize the use of vacant land to enhance food security at the Markaz Penghafal Al-Qur'an of Yayasan Layar Dakwah. The research methodology includes the application of agricultural techniques such as raised bed construction, selection of superior seeds, and efficient plant maintenance. The results show that utilizing vacant land with appropriate agricultural methods can increase food productivity and reduce dependence on external supplies. Tomato plants demonstrated the highest productivity at 2.25 kg/m², followed by red chili (1.75 kg/m²) and shallots (1.25 kg/m²). Additionally, the involvement of students in agricultural activities provided added benefits in terms of skill development and increased motivation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of agricultural techniques with the pesantren education system, as well as the implementation of simple agricultural technologies that can be applied sustainably. Therefore, this research offers practical solutions to improve food security in pesantren and empower students in the field of agriculture.
