Abstract

Education can also be said as a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, and habits that will be inherited from one generation to the next. The learning outcomes are changes in someone who learns. Multiplication is also the mathematical operation of scaling one number with another. Multiplication is also repeated addition. The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of the crossline technique on the results of learning mathematics multiplication material for class III SDN Sukorejo. This type of research is a pre-experimental design type of one group pretest- posttest design. The subjects in this study were class III A students with a total of 25 students. The data collection technique used was a test sheet. based on the results of processing and analysis of the data collected in this study, namely the normality results obtained a value of p = 0.044 ≤ 0.05 in the pretest value and p value = 0.053 ≥ 0.05 in the posttest value. This shows that the pretest scores are not normally distributed and the posttest on student multiplication learning outcomes is normally distributed. Then the Wilcoxon test in this study obtained the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because the sig value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. Which means that the crossline technique has an effect on the results of learning mathematics multiplication material for class III SDN Sukorejo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan peserta didik kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang masih belum memahami materi sistem tata surya. Pada proses kegiatan belajar mengajar IPA di kelas VI, guru sudah menggunakan media pembelajaran powerpoint. Powerpoint yang digunakan merupakan materi seperti yang ada di buku ajar, kurang adanya modifikasi gambar dan animasi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan media pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pembelajaran dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pembelajaran STAR materi sistem tata surya berbasis construct 2 pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar ditinjau dari aspek penilaian respon guru dan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi sistem tata surya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket validasi ahli materi, ahli media, respon guru, dan respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Berdasarkan data kuantitatif diperoleh hasil validasi oleh ahli materi 95%, ahli media 86%, respon guru 95%, dan respon peserta didik 95%. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran STAR berbasis construct 2 pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem tata surya kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Feasibility of learning media and describing the feasibility of STAR learning media for solar system material based on construct 2 in grade VI science subjects in elementary schools to assess teacher and student responses. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media to increase students' understanding of the solar system material. This research is research and development using the ADDIE model. Data was collected through observation and validation questionnaires from material experts, media experts, and teacher and student responses. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data and qualitative data. Based on quantitative data, validation results obtained by material experts were 95%, media experts were 86%, teacher responses were 95%, and student responses were 95%. Thus, the STAR learning media based on construct 2 in the science subject solar system material for class VI in elementary schools is declared very suitable for learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran supaya peserta didik dapat menerima materi dengan baik serta kurangnya pemahaman siswa terkait norma yang ada dilingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Syarat Kecakapan Umum (SKU) dalam muatan Pendidikan Pancasila materi norma kelas V di SDN Bringinbendo Taman Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis (analisis), design (perencanaan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi media mendapatkan skor 80% dan materi 82% dengan rata-rata 81% mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sedangkan dari repon guru mendapatkan skor 93% dan peserta didik mendapatkan skor “87%” dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh 91% mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD berbasis SKU sangat efektif, dan layak digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Dari hasil penggunaan tersebut LKPD berbasis SKU dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Games Tournament) learning model supported by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of Grade IV students in the IPAS (Science) subject on the topic of energy. This study is a pre-experimental type with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, where the researcher compares the pretest results (before treatment) with the posttest results (after treatment). Data were collected through tests using test sheets as the main instrument. Data analysis includes validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test, analyzed using IBM SPSS version 22 software. Based on the normality test, it was found that the data is normally distributed; therefore, the hypothesis test used is the paired sample t-test. Based on the paired sample t-test, a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model supported by Wordwall media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of Grade IV students in the IPAS subject on energy at SDN Bligo Candi Sidoarjo

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of the Role Playing learning model on the numeracy literacy skills of third-grade students at SDN Karangtanjung in multiplication material. The background of this research lies in the low numeracy literacy skills of students, as indicated by the average scores falling below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design involving 30 students as the sample. The instrument consisted of a descriptive test comprising 10 items that had been validated for both validity and reliability, and was administered before and after the implementation of the learning model. Data were analyzed using a normality test and a Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that the average pretest score of 26.23 increased to 64.07 on the posttest, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Accordingly, the Role Playing learning model has been proven to have a significant impact on improving students' numeracy literacy skills in multiplication material. This learning model offers an active and contextual learning experience, enabling students to more easily understand multiplication concepts and apply them in real-life situations. In conclusion, the Role Playing model is effective in enhancing numeracy literacy skills in multiplication and can serve as an innovative alternative instructional strategy in elementary education. This study opens opportunities for further development, both in exploring other variables and in applying the model to other subjects, supported by adequate teacher training. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik kelas III SDN Karangtanjung pada materi perkalian. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa yang terlihat dari nilai rata-rata di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest yang melibatkan 30 peserta didik sebagai sampel. Instrumen berupa tes uraian 10 butir soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan Paired Sample t-Test. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 26,23 yang meningkat menjadi 64,07 pada posttest, serta nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, model Role Playing memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa pada materi perkalian. Model pembelajaran ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang aktif dan kontekstual, sehingga siswa lebih mudah memahami konsep perkalian dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, model Role Playing efektif meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi pada materi perkalian dan dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini membuka peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut, baik pada variabel lain maupun penerapan di mata pelajaran lain, dengan dukungan pelatihan guru yang memadai.

Abstract

This article is about developing mathematics learning materials related to the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach for teaching the circle topic, with a focus on enhancing sixth-grade students’ conceptual understanding of π (Pi) at MI Ma’arif Pagerwojo. The development followed the ADDIE instructional design model. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, lesson implementation observation sheets, response questionnaires, and achievement tests. Based on expert validation, two validators rated the teaching module at 95.5% and 92.6%, the student worksheet (LKPD) at 91.6% and 94%, and the learning outcome test at 85% and 90% all falling within the "highly valid" category. Observation results of lesson implementation by both teacher and students yielded scores of 90% and 87.5%, respectively, while teacher and student response questionnaires reached 93.7% and 87%. It shows that the developed learning materials are highly practical. The effectiveness also has been proved, as 80% of students met the minimum mastery criterion (KKM), satisfying the criterion for classical completeness. These findings demonstrate that PMRI-based materials effectively facilitate students’ meaningful understanding of π through contextual learning activities. Moreover, the context of this study focused on developing instructional materials at the primary school level remains underexplored in educational development research. Thus, this study may serve as a reference for broader international mathematics education, particularly since PMRI aligns closely with the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Balonggarut berfokus pada penghijauan lahan kosong guna meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan kesejahteraan warga. Kegiatan ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat setempat dalam proses identifikasi lahan, pemilihan tanaman, dan penanaman. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah menciptakan ruang terbuka hijau yang dapat berfungsi sebagai area rekreasi dan edukasi, serta meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan warga desa. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan lokal serta antusiasme warga dalam menjaga dan merawat area hijau yang telah dibuat. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi inisiatif berkelanjutan yang memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang bagi Desa Balonggarut. The community service program in Balonggarut Village focuses on reforesting vacant land to improve environmental quality and the well-being of residents. This activity involves the active participation of the local community in land identification, plant selection, and planting. The main goal of this program is to create green open spaces that can function as recreational and educational areas, as well as raise environmental awareness among villagers. The results demonstrate an improvement in the quality of the local environment and community enthusiasm for maintaining and caring for the created green areas. This program is expected to be a sustainable initiative that will have a long-term positive impact on Balonggarut Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on the science literacy skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Karangtanjung in the topic of light and its properties. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice items, of which 18 were declared valid after validation. A reliability test showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.794. The Shapiro-Wilk test confirmed that the data were normally distributed, and a paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. The average score increased from 53.73 to 85.27. The highest improvement occurred in the indicator of interpreting data and scientific evidence (84.69%), followed by designing and evaluating scientific inquiry (68.42%), and explaining scientific phenomena (28.12%). These findings suggest that the guided inquiry model is effective in enhancing science literacy through active, exploratory, and experience-based learning.

Abstract

Adversity Quotient (AQ) is the ability of human fighting power to face and overcome difficulties and challenges in facing problems. According to the results of several studies, it was found that AQ has a positive and significant effect on problem solving ability in learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of elementary school students in terms of AQ ability. Can the relationship between AQ and problem solving be known in elementary school? The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Researchers analyzed relevant research articles through Google Scholar, Garuda, and DOAJ. 82 articles were obtained that fit the criteria of the keywords problem solving and AQ. But there were only 3 articles that were conducted in elementary school. Based on the research results, it was concluded that elementary school students can also be categorized as AQ climber, camper and quitter types. AQ has a very positive effect on students' fighting power in solving problems.

Abstract

The problem in this study stems from the low activity of students in learning, which is caused by one-way learning methods and less varied reading materials. This study aims to analyze the impact of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model combined with the latest mass media articles on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students of SDN Karangtanjung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample in this study were all fifth-grade students of SDN Karangtanjung. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with a total sampling type (saturated sample), namely all members of the population were used as research samples. The instrument used was a critical thinking skills test that had been validated by material experts and tested in the trial class. The results showed that the average pre-test score of 56.5 increased to 85.5 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which means there was a significant difference between before and after the treatment. Thus, the implementation of a PBL model based on current media articles has proven effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in the science subject.
