Abstract

Building a manageable network to support the implementation of Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) in independent attendance for students and lecturers, which can avoid individuals entrusting attendance, is part of today's technological developments, so that it is hoped to produce an individual who is independent, intelligent and supported. with a high level of technological mastery. The AKPRIND Yogyakarta Institute of Science & Technology has implemented this technology on the main server, but the VLAN implementation is specifically designed for Presence Mandiri in the west and east buildings on campus 1. Each building is designed to have 2 broadcast domains and use 2 switches to be able to produce communications. data between buildings that have the same broadcast domain. The switch on the Presence Mandiri VLAN network at the AKPRIND Yogyakarta Institute of Science & Technology has 2 VLAN IDs with the configuration used being VLAN Trunking (VTP). The IP addressing provided is DHCP from each switch, which can divide the network on each available port. This VLAN configuration is all done using a network simulation tool, namely Cisco Packet Tracert 6.1.0 in ICMP testing, with the protocol used is Internet Protocol version 4 or IPv4

Abstract

In the current era of advanced and developing technology, the road crossing system is the most important part of city infrastructure whose aim is to ensure the safety of other road users. In recent years, technological developments have provided opportunities to increase efficiency so that road crossing system safety can be achieved. One of the technologies that can be utilized is Adobe Flash CS6 which is used by researchers to create interactive and attractive user interfaces. This research aims to develop a road crossing system based on Adobe Flash CS6. The research steps used the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, including analyzing user needs, designing an intuitive user interface, implementing interactive features using Adobe Flash CS6, as well as testing and evaluating system performance. The main goal of this research is to create a more interactive and intuitive road crossing system using Adobe Flash CS6 technology. This information system is expected to increase road use awareness of traffic rules, thereby reducing the risk of accidents. By implementing a road crossing system based on Adobe Flash CS6, several good results can be achieved. Increased user awareness of traffic safety through an interactive user interface. Increased efficiency of the road crossing system through features designed to optimize pedestrian traffic flow. Reducing the risk of accidents at road crossings through the use of more sophisticated and intuitive technology. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to the safety and efficiency of road crossing systems in urban areas. This information system can be updated according to the wishes and needs of the responsible local government.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food for most Indonesians. The growing population, which has already reached 278 million, is expected to lead to increased rice consumption. Therefore, it is important to have a system that can forecast rice production. Time series data can be used to forecast rice production. Two common time series forecasting methods are linear regression and polynomial regression. Linear regression is used for data that is linear, while polynomial regression is used for data that is non-linear. In this study, we evaluated the performance of linear regression and polynomial regression for rice production forecasting in West Nusa Tenggara Province from 2001 to 2022. The results showed that the polynomial regression model with 4-degree gave better results than the linear regression model. The RMSE and MAE for the polynomial regression model were 0.48 and 2.34, respectively, while those for the linear regression model were 0.97 and 0.87, respectively. The results of this study suggest that the polynomial regression model with 4-degree is a better choice for rice production forecasting in West Nusa Tenggara Province

Abstract

Social media sentiment analysis has become increasingly important with the rise of platforms like Twitter and Facebook as sources of public opinion. This study evaluates the performance of three machine learning algorithms—Naïve Bayes, k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machines (SVM)—in classifying sentiment from social media data. Using a dataset in Indonesian, we apply cross-validation techniques to measure accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and computation time for each algorithm. The results show that SVM achieves the highest accuracy and F1-score, while Naïve Bayes offers better computational speed. KNN demonstrates the lowest performance in terms of accuracy and efficiency. These findings provide guidance for practitioners and researchers in selecting the appropriate algorithm for sentiment analysis based on their specific needs.

Abstract

Aikdewa Bathing Pool, located in Pringgasela Village, has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination in East Lombok. One of the much-needed facilities is clean and comfortable toilets and changing rooms. The condition of the toilets and changing rooms at Aikdewa Bathing Pool is very concerning. The existing facilities are only made of spandex and are not well maintained. Seeing the condition of Aikdewa bathing pool which is increasingly in demand by visitors, the author together with VLOK Foundation Holland took the initiative to improve the quality of facilities at the place. The steps carried out for the toilet and changing room facilities development program are divided into 3 stages, namely: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the post-development stage. The toilet and changing room facilities construction program at Aikdewa Bathing Pool has successfully built 2 toilet units and 1 changing room unit. The construction time is 1 month. Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kualitas sumber daya manusia yang unggul. Untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, teknologi data mining digunakan untuk mengungkap pola-pola tersembunyi dalam data akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi prestasi akademik siswa berdasarkan pola kehadiran dan aktivitas belajar menggunakan metode Naive Bayes dan Logistic Regression. Data diperoleh dari institusi pendidikan dan diolah melalui tahap preprocessing, meliputi pembersihan, transformasi, dan seleksi fitur. Model prediktif divalidasi menggunakan teknik k-fold cross-validation dan dievaluasi menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, serta F1-score.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Naive Bayes mencapai akurasi sebesar 85,7%, presisi 83,2%, recall 84,5%, dan F1-score 83,8%. Sementara itu, metode Logistic Regression menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 88,9%, presisi 87,1%, recall 86,7%, dan F1-score 86,9%. Kombinasi kedua metode memberikan performa lebih baik, dengan akurasi mencapai 90,3%, presisi 89,5%, recall 88,8%, dan F1-score 89,1%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknik data mining secara terintegrasi dapat meningkatkan akurasi prediksi prestasi akademik siswa.Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di institusi pendidikan

Abstract

In this era of globalization technology is more advanced, it can’t be denied the presence of the internet more needed in everyday life, both in socialization, education, business, etc. We can’t be denied that social media have a big influence in our life. Someone who initially small can be great with social media, or otherwise. For the community particularly among teenagers, social media have to make opium user gone days without opening a social media. While in a fact, teenagers in school trying to find his identity with his feers hang out together with friends .This research aims to understand the influence of social media explained about what course the influence of social media for teenagers in century it has since then to know what course the influence on teen behavior caused by the current social media During the research, researchers used a method of the qualitative study because want to learn about a fact; symptoms and events the influence of social media against teen behavior in the field just as there are in the context of space and time as well as environmental situation teenagers naturally. Researchers wanting the results of research in the form of the data that is even more complex on the phenomena that is difficult expressed by a method of quantitative and do not need processing data is statistics. The result of the qualitative study required researchers is in the form of deep information about the influence of social media for teenagers itself.

Abstract

English proficiency plays a significant role in education, employment, and global communication. The TOEFL test is frequently used as an indicator to measure competence in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This study aims to classify English proficiency levels based on TOEFL test data using the Decision Tree algorithm. The model was constructed by considering test scores and demographic attributes to obtain accurate predictions. Evaluation results showed that the model achieved an accuracy of 9.5%, precision of 9.1%, recall of 9.5%, and an F1-score of 9.1%. Although the model’s performance was relatively low, this approach can reveal certain patterns within the data that may serve as a foundation for developing more targeted English language learning strategies. This research contributes to the understanding of factors influencing TOEFL scores and provides recommendations for designing effective learning programs.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMA dalam memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk mempromosikan pariwisata lokal sebagai bagian dari Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Pelatihan yang diberikan berfokus pada penggunaan AI dalam pembuatan desain poster, video, audio, dan copywriting yang menarik. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep dan pengaplikasian AI, serta kemampuan mereka dalam menciptakan konten promosi yang kreatif dan relevan. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya pada dimensi berkarya dan berteknologi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi teknologi AI dalam pendidikan guna mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21 serta mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dan dalam pembangunan daerah. Agar dampak kegiatan ini lebih berkelanjutan, disarankan adanya pendampingan lanjutan bagi siswa dan guru dalam pengembangan konten digital berbasis AI, serta kolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah dan pelaku industri pariwisata untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya siswa secara lebih luas. Selain itu, pelatihan serupa dapat diperluas ke sekolah-sekolah lain di wilayah berbeda guna memperkuat kapasitas generasi muda dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital secara kreatif dan produktif.
