Low Back Pain or lower back pain is an injury that is found as a result of poor physical activity. One of the factors that can influence the occurrence of complaints of low back pain is position, duration of sitting, and during activities. This study aimed to determine the relationship between sitting duration, sitting position, and student status with complaints of low back pain in college students. A cross-sectional analytic survey study was carried out on 107 people using a questionnaire, sampling was taken by random sampling. Questionnaire results were tested by Chi-Square statistical test. It was found that there was a relationship between long sitting and complaints of low back pain in Ibnu Sina University students with a p-value of 0.05; r 2 = 0.04. There is a relationship between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in Ibnu Sina University students, p-value 0.05; r 2 = 0.02. There is a relationship between student status and complaints of low back pain in students at Ibnu Cyan University, p-value 0.05; r 2 = 0.03. This study concludes that there is a relationship between sitting time, sitting position, and student status with complaints of low back pain among students at Ibnu Sina University, Batam City in 2023

Low Back Pain atau nyeri punggung bawah merupakan cedera yang dijumpai pada akibat aktivitas fisik yang buruk. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya keluhan nyeri punggung bawah adalah posisi, lama duduk dan saat beraktivitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungn Postur duduk dan aktivitas dengan keluhan low back pain pada mahasiswa. Telah dilakukan penelitian survei analitik cross sectional terhadap 107 dengan menggunakan kuesioner, pengabilan sampe dilakukan secara random samplig. Hasil kusioner diuji dengan uji statistik Chi Square. Diperoleh Ada hubungan postur duduk dengan keluhan low back pain pada mahasiswa Universitas X di kota Batam Tahun 2023 p-value 0,05; r2 = 0,02. Ada nya hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan keluhan low back pain pada mahasiswa universitas ibnu sian p value 0,05; r2 = 0,03. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya hubungan postur duduk dan aktivitas fisik dengan keluhan Low Back Pain pada mahasiswa Universitas X Kota Batam Tahun 2023.

Low Back Pain is a musculoskeletal disorder resulting from incorrect implementation of ergonomics. The main symptoms of Low Back Pain is pain in the spinal area of the back. This study aims to determine the relationship between sitting position and sitting time with Low Back complaints Pain in back office at the Mandiri Inhealth Batam Operational Office in 2020. The research method used is a quantitative method with an analytical survey research design with a cross research design sectional on each subject using the Chi- square test , namely comparing the frequency of occurrence (observation) with the frequency of expectations (expectations) with a sample of 30 respondents. From the results of this research, it was concluded that there was a relationship between sitting position (P- Value = 0.003) and sitting time (P- Value = 0.030) with Low Back complaints. Pain . Advice for workers to pay attention to their sitting position and take the time to stretch their muscles when doing work to prevent or reduce complaints of Low Back Pain and for companies providing health education about ergonomics.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi fisik rumah yang meliputi luas ventilasi, pencahayaan, kelembapan, jenis lantai, jenis dinding dan jenis atap dengan riwayat kejadian ISPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Maret sampai dengan Juli 2023 di Kelurahan Tanjung Sengkuang. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki anak berusia nol sampai lima tahun, besar sampel 85 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simpel random sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara luas ventilasi (p-value =0,175), pencahayaan (p-value =0,500) dan kelembapan (pvalue =1,000) dengan riwayat kejadian ISPA dan ada hubungan antara jenis lantai (p-value =0,059), jenis dinding (p-value =0,018) dan atap (p-value =0.014) dengan riwayat kejadian ISPA. Pengukuran luas ventilasi yang tidak memenuhi syarat sebanyak 94,12%. Pencahayaan yang tidak memenuhi syarat sebanyak 69,41%. Kelembapan yang tidak memenuhi syarat sebanyak 96,47%. Jenis lantai yang memenuhi syarat sebanyak 94,12%. Jenis dinding yang memenuhi syarat sebanyak 88,24%. Jenis atap yang memenuhi syarat sebanyak 91,76%. Tidak ada hubungan luas ventilasi, pencahayaan dan kelembapan dengan riwayat kejadian ISPA dan Ada hubungan jenis lantai, jenis dinding dan jenis atap dengan riwayat kejadian ISPA. Sebaiknya masyarakat yang ingin membangun rumah lebih memperhatikan syarat-syarat rumah sehat. Bagi penghuni rumah sebaiknya lebih membiasakan diri untuk membuka pintu dan jendela setiap pagi hari agar sinar matahari dapat masuk dan kondisi ruangan selalu terjaga kelembapannya. Bagi masyarakat disarankan rutin menjaga kebersihan lantai, dinding dan atap serta langit – langit rumah.

Introduction: The prevalence of MSDs disorders out of the average occupational disease is nearly 50%. MSDs include several types, one of which is carpal tunnel syndrome. Objective: The purpose of the study was to determine the frequency distribution of work duration, work period and repetitive movements in grinding workers at PT X Batam City in 2024 and to determine the relationship between work duration, work period and repetitive movements with the occurrence of carpal tunnel syndrome complaints in grinding workers at PT X Batam City in 2024. Method: Research methodology This type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional study design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and observing repetitive movements of grinding work. Result and Discussion: The results of the study showed that the majority of workers with work duration > 8 hours per day (64.2%), work period > 2 years (89.8%) and repetitive movements ? 20 times per minute (66%), showed a significant relationship between work duration, work period and repetitive motion with P_value = 0.000, p < a (? = 0.05) to complaints of carpal tunnel syndrome. Conclusion: Suggestions for setting working hours and providing additional breaks for workers with a long work period to reduce tension on the wrist

Introduction: Work shifts are a work system that is commonly applied in hospitals to ensure that health services last for 24 hours. However, the implementation of work shifts, especially night shifts and irregular rotations, can have a negative impact on the physiological and psychological conditions of medical personnel, such as fatigue and work stress. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of work shifts on the level of fatigue and work stress in medical personnel at the Batam City Regional Hospital. Method: The research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were taken purposively as many as 100 medical personnel working with a shift system. The instruments used included the Standard Shiftwork Index (SSI) and Job Stress Scale (JSS) questionnaires. Result and Discussion: The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between the type of work shift and the level of fatigue (p < 0.05) and work stress (p < 0.05). Medical personnel who work night shifts and rotational shifts tend to have higher fatigue and stress scores compared to morning shifts. Conclusion: The study concludes that a poorly managed work shift system can increase the risk of fatigue and work stress, which can ultimately impact patient safety and work productivity. Therefore, hospital management needs to consider more ergonomic shift scheduling as well as provide a stress management and workforce recovery program.
