Abstract

This study examines how export market concentration shapes export earnings stability from an international finance perspective. Using secondary data compiled from ITC Trade Map for Indonesia’s non oil exports during 2022-2025, the paper evaluates export value dynamics, destination market concentration, and the stability of foreign exchange generating export earnings. The analysis combines descriptive trend analysis, market share decomposition, the Herfindahl Hirschman Index (HHI), and the coefficient of variation (CV) of export earnings. The results indicate three main findings. First, Indonesia’s export earnings remained resilient despite global tightening, commodity price normalization, and exchange rate uncertainty. Second, export destinations were still moderately concentrated in a limited set of large markets, especially China, the United States, and India, implying exposure to partner specific demand shocks. Third, moderate diversification across secondary markets helped cushion aggregate earnings volatility, although sectoral dependence on a few commodities linked products remained visible. The study contributes to the international finance literature by showing that trade structure is not only a competitiveness issue but also a financial risk issue because export concentration affects foreign exchange inflows, external liquidity, and macro financial resilience. Policy implications include deeper market diversification, export upgrading, and broader use of trade finance and hedging instruments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial distress, auditor quality, and auditor-client tenure on going concern audit opinion, with opinion shopping as a moderating variable. This research is motivated by the inconsistency of previous findings and the need to explore managerial opportunism through auditor switching behavior. The study population comprises companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. The sample selection was conducted using purposive sampling, resulting in 10 companies with 50 firm-year observations. The data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that financial distress, auditor quality, and auditor-client tenure have a significant impact on the going concern audit opinion. Additionally, opinion shopping significantly moderates the effect of auditor quality and auditor-client tenure on going concern opinion, but does not moderate the effect of financial distress. This study contributes to the literature by integrating opinion shopping as a moderating variable, an approach that remains underexplored, particularly in the consumer goods sector. Practical implications include reinforcing auditor independence and rotation policies to mitigate audit bias.

Abstract

Abstract

The study analyzes the influence of green advertising on green purchasing behaviors through the mediating effect of green trust. The empirical research employs a quantitative research method where the data was collected through a questionnaire administered to 120 eco-conscious consumers of local beauty products via purposive sampling. The collected data was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The empirical findings indicate that green advertising positively influences green trust and green purchase decisions. Moreover, green trust positively influences green purchasing decisions and serves as a complementary partial mediator that significantly increases the indirect influence of green advertising on purchasing decisions. The theoretical model has high explanatory power in explaining green consumer behavior in the local beauty industry. The marketing practitioners should emphasize transparency and authentic eco-messages as well as third-party certifications rather than promotional efforts in order to create green trust and overcome the issue of greenwashing skepticism. From a theoretical standpoint, the paper emphasizes green trust as the key psychological link between green communications and consumer actions in emerging markets. The main limitations of this study include the cross-sectional nature of the research design and use of self-reporting data collection. Keywords: Green Advertising, Green Trust, Green Purchase Decision, Beauty Products, Consumer Behavior.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of rubber price fluctuations and land area on rubber farmers' income from an Islamic economic perspective, both partially and simultaneously. The study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 96 purposively selected rubber farmers. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression in SPSS. The results indicate that rubber price fluctuations have a positive and significant effect on farmers' income (p=0.002; <0.05), while land area also has a positive and significant effect (p=0.001; <0.05). Simultaneously, rubber price fluctuations and land area have a positive and significant effect on farmers' income (p-value < 0.001; R² = 0.671), indicating that these two variables account for 67.1% of the variation in farmers' income. From an Islamic economic perspective, increasing farmers' incomes must be supported by fair, transparent, and Sharia-compliant pricing mechanisms, along with productive land management, to achieve sustainable well-being.

Abstract

This article examines social media marketing strategies that can strengthen brand engagement and influence purchase decisions among Generation Z consumers. The study uses a qualitative literature review to synthesize findings from twenty scholarly publications on social media marketing activities, consumer brand engagement, influencer marketing, electronic word-of-mouth, brand trust, and Generation Z purchasing behavior. The synthesis indicates that effective strategies are not limited to promotional exposure; they depend on the quality of interaction created between consumers, content, influencers, and brands. Five strategic dimensions emerge as particularly important: entertaining and interactive content, authentic and informative storytelling, credible influencer partnerships, user-generated and peer-to-peer content, and personalized social commerce experiences. Brand engagement functions as a central mechanism through which social media activities are translated into stronger attitudes, trust, brand preference, and purchase intentions. The literature also shows that credibility and authenticity are increasingly important because Generation Z consumers evaluate commercial messages through social comparison, peer communication, and perceived relational closeness. Accordingly, brands should move from one-way promotional communication toward participatory, transparent, and community-oriented strategies. The article proposes an integrated strategic framework in which social media marketing activities stimulate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement, which subsequently supports purchase decisions. Future research should test the framework across platforms, product categories, cultures, and longitudinal consumer journeys.
