Abstract

The study aims to find out how the qasidah group located in Sei Mencirim village maintains it's existence. This research was conducted on a qasidah group named As-Salam. The formation of the qasidah As-Salam group in the village of Sei Mencirim has existed since 2000 with 15 members. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research. In dara collection is done by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the data obtained, the development of the original and unsuitable qasidah group Sei Mencirim has developed well until now. In addition, in it's development, the members of the qasidah As-Salam group have their own characteristics, namely a close sense of kinship between them. The benefits of As-Salam glucoside it self are such as providing Islamic nuanced advice to the community in an activity such as recitation marriages and others. The way the qasidah As-Salam group maintains it's existence is by focusing on qasidah themes and songs with members personnel and adjusting in advance what theme will be performed so that it is right on target.

Abstract

Referring to PISA 2015 and 2018 data, Indonesian students' mathematics skills, especially numeracy skills, are lower than the global average score. One effort that can be made to improve students' numeracy skills and learning motivation is the development of mathematics textbook based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with relevant contexts that students can imagine. So, this study aims to develop RME-based mathematics textbook to improve students' numeracy skills and learning motivation using the context of Nai Marbittang, one of the popular folklores in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The researchers used the ADDIE development model to develop textbook while assessing its validity through expert validation sheets, practicality through questionnaires, and effectiveness through motivation questionnaires and numeracy tests. Through this study, the products developed were proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students' numeracy skills and learning motivation so it can be used more widely, especially on the Pythagorean theorem topic. Other researchers can also utilize folklores on various mathematics topics to improve students' numeracy and learning motivation.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are emergency events that often occur unexpectedly in society and can cause injury or death. Proper first aid for traffic accident victims is needed to help reduce mortality rates, further complications and improve healing in victims. Proper first aid in emergency conditions such as trauma accident victims needs to be based on good knowledge. This community service activity aims to improve students' knowledge in first aid for traffic accidents. This community service activity was carried out on 35 grade XII students at a high school in Perdagangan, Simalungun Regency. The results of this community service showed an increase in students' knowledge about first aid for accidents after being given health education. Health education about emergency handling is highly recommended to be given to the community as laypersons.

Abstract

Heart failure affects 23 million people throughout the world. In Indonesia, heart failure always increases every year, the prevalence of heart failure in the last six years was 1.67% from 2013 to 2018. Self-care for heart failure patients is very necessary for success management and control of these chronic diseases. The aim of this scoping review is to identify factors associated with self-care in patients with heart failure. This article review uses the Scoping Review approach, in this study the researcher used the PEO format in the literature search. The online databases used were Science Direct, PubMed and Scopus. There are 12 articles that are considered to meet the requirements and criteria. After scoping, there were 7 major themes regarding factors that influence self-care management in heart failure patients, namely low knowledge, psychological problems, motivational expectations, communication information, social, spiritual and economic support. Patients with heart failure are likely to experience depression which makes the patient unable to care for themselves, so patients must be given knowledge, information from the medical team, important information for heart failure patients is self-care, this requires hope from the patient, strong spiritual , economic, and family support which are the keys to recovery in patients with heart failure.

Abstract

Palang Merah Indonesia atau biasa dikenal dengan singkatan PMI merupakan salah satu organisasi kemanusiaan yang ada di Indonesia. Jumpa Bakti dan Gembira (JUMBARA) merupakan satu bentuk kegiatan pembinaan yang merupakan ajang pertemuan anggota PMI untuk saling berbagi, evaluasi, meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan dalam suasana gembira, bersahabat dan partisipatif sesuai Siklus Manajemen PMR. JUMBARA yang merupakan salah satu strategi pembinaan dan pengembangan sukarelawan yang dikemas untuk melakukan evaluasi dan pembinaan yang telah dilaksanakan PMI, sekaligus merancang peran dan kegiatan sukarelawan untuk mendukung dan melaksanakan program peningkatan organisasi dan pelayanan PMI. Kegiatan Jumbara adalah kegiatan 2 (dua) tahunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan banyak informasi tentang kegiatan Jumbara. Untuk mendapatkan data yg konkret tersebut peneliti melakukan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Selama Jumbara dilaksanakan berbagai macam kegiatan mulai ajang sana dan tukar hasil karya, life skill station, konferensi PMR, disiminator cilik, sarasehan dan jumtek. Jumbara (Jumpa, Bakti & Gembira) adalah ajang bertemunya perwakilan anggota PMR dan PMI di seluruh Indonesia. Jumbara juga jadi salah satu wujud mandat PMI sesuai UU Nomor 1 Tahun 2018 tentang Kepalangmerahan yang di dalamnya terdapat mandat pembinaan relawan. Ajang ini diadakan sebagai tempat saling tukar informasi, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman serta bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kesukarelaan dari sejak dini. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga jadi cermin untuk mendorong PMI dalam meningkatkan pembinaan terhadap personel PMR. Kegiatan ini diikuti sekitar 4.200 peserta dari seluruh PMI provinsi se-Indonesia. Bukan cuma Indonesia saja, ada beberapa negara turut memeriahkan Jumbara 2023 seperti Amerika Serikat, Singapura, Malaysia, Italia, Tiongkok dan Timor Leste. Abstract

Pendidikan adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting dalam membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas dan unggul, namun terkadang fakta di lapangan banyak generasi muda yang kekurangan semangat belajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kajian pustaka dengan mengkaji penelitian-penelitian terdahulu sebagai pertimbangan menghasilkan penelitian baru. Dari hasil kajian pustaka yang telah ditemukan didapatkan sebuah temuan bahwa terjadi penurunan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS tingkat sekolah dasar. Hal ini disebabkan karena kajian IPS yang sangat luas yang mencakup berbagai bidang disiplin ilmu diantaranya sosial, budaya, dan keberagaman. Terkadang guru juga hanya sekedar menyampaikan materi tanpa mempertimbangkan hal lain seperti strategi pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang monoton akan membuat siswa merasa jenuh dan kehilangan semangat untuk belajar. Strategi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar termasuk perbaikan kurikulum, metode pengajaran inovatif, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Model pembelajaran PBL diusulkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan fokus pada pemecahan masalah.
