Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum yang terdapat di satuan PAUD berdasarkan panduan penyusunan kurikulum 2013 PAUD. Batasan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penulis mengumpulkan informasi, mengolah, dan menganalisis terkait implementasi dokumen kurikulum yang terdapat di satuan PAUD. Dokumen kurikulum PAUD yaitu Program Semester (Prosem), Rencana Pelaksanaan Program Mingguan (RPPM), Rencana Pelaksanaan Program Harian (RPPH), dan Penilaian Perkembangan Anak. Penelitian dilakukan di empat PAUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dimana teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengenai implementasi kurikulum PAUD berdasarkan panduan penyusunan kurikulum 2013 di empat PAUD, yaitu satu PAUD mendapat kategori cukup sesuai dan tiga PAUD lainnya mendapat kategori sesuai.

Abstract

Keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan sangat mempengaruhi proses belajar anak, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Adanya kontribusi orang tua dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan belajar anak dan berdampak pada tahap selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini berdasarkan hasil survei persepsi terkait tingkat keterlibatan mereka dalam program pelibatan orang tua yang terdapat di satuan PAUD. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui tingkat resiliensi setiap keluarga peserta didik dan mengetahui bentuk kegiatan pelibatan orang tua yang diimplementasikam di beberapa satuan PAUD yang terdapat di Kota serang Banten. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua peserta didik dan guru PAUD. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan sampel non-probabilitas dengan teknik random sampling, sehingga didapatkan 152 responden. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari penyebaran instrumen persepsi tingkat resilensi keluarga dan tingkat keterlibatan dalam program pelibatan orang tua di PAUD serta Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama guru-guru pada sekolah yang dijadikan responden. Analisis pengolahan data statistika deskriptif dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Exel serta berdasarkan hasil Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Statistika deskriptif yang diukur mencakup rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Hasil dari analisis data dikategorikan dan dicari jumlah presentasenya. Untuk skala pelibatan orang tua dalam PAUD dan reseliensi keluarga peserta didik di satuan PAUD dibuat menjadi 5 kategori, yaitu sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Sedangkan, untuk perspektif guru terhadap keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak dibuat menjadi 3 kategori, yaitu rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Adapun hasil analisis data Berdasarkan identifikasi tingkat resiliensi keluarga peserta didik di ke 8 lembaga PAUD dan tingkat keterlibatan orang tua dalam program pelibatan orang tua yang diselenggarakan oleh ke 8 lembaga PAUD rata-rata berada dikategori sedang ke tinggi. Hal tersebut memberikan indikasi bahwa para orang tua peserta didik memandang keluarganya telah mampu bekerja sama sebagai tim untuk menghadapi berbagai kesulitan hidup dengan cukup efektif dan mampu memaksimalkan pemanfaatkan faktor-faktor protektif yang dimiliki untuk membantu mengatasi situasi sulit atau faktor-faktor resiko. Orang tua telah cukup berperan dalam mendukung dan menfasilitasi kehidupan dan perkembangan anak mereka.

Abstract

The application of the introduction of android-based transportation tools to optimize the cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years created by three students of the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education study program at the University of Education Indonesia. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method through six research flows. This application is suitable for use by children who have been validated by media and material experts. This application has been tested at PAUD Az-zahra Pandeglang City. The results of the trial are in accordance with the purpose of making the application, which is to increase accuracy, develop children's critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities, distinguish between different types of goods, and develop their emotional intelligence. In addition, this application is user-friendly, can increase children's interest and motivation to learn, encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills in children and is relevant to be used as a teaching aid at PAUD Az-zahra Pandeglang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terdapat di lapangan yaitu kurang berkembangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada anak usia 3-4 tahun yang disebabkan oleh kurang tersedianya media pembelajaran. Pentingnya pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah karena anak akan menemukan permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dimilikinya. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada anak usia 3-4 tahun diantaranya (1) anak mampu menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru; (2) anak mengerti konsep keutuhan dari suatu benda; (3) anak memahami pola bilangan yang diucapkannya; dan (4) huruf atau abjad yang dikenal peserta didik bertambah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi media busy book dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia 3-4 tahun di PAUD Azzahra Kota Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Alat pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media busy book berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada anak usia 3-4 tahun. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh 7 orang anak diantaranya 3 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan sebelum menggunakan busy book terdapat dua anak Belum berkembang (BB), empat anak Mulai Berkembang (MB), dan satu anak Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Dengan persentase BB 29%, MB 57%, dan BSH 14%. Kemudian setelah media busy book diimplementasikan terjadi peningkatan, yaitu dua anak mulai berkembang (MB), empat anak berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH), dan satu anak berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Dengan persentase MB 29%, BSH 57%, dan BSB 14%.

Abstract

Antioxidants can either stop or slow down the excessive oxidation of a compound. This study aimed to determine the secondary metabolite compounds, antioxidant activity, total flavonoid and phenolic levels, and the correlation between the levels of flavonoid and phenolic compounds in inhibiting free radicals. The DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) method was used to evaluate antioxidant activity. Determination of total flavonoid levels using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and the aluminum chloride method. The total phenolic content was determined using the Folin-Ciocalteu method. Based on the results of phytochemical screening, mango seed extract (Mangifera indica L.) contains secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, phenolics, and tannins. The relationship between the antioxidant activity of the DPPH method and total flavonoid levels was 91.31%, respectively. The relationship between the antioxidant activity of the DPPH method and the total phenolic content was 99.64%. Abstract

The phenomenon of dual earner families, where both parents work outside the home, is increasingly prevalent in modern Indonesian society. This study aimed to examine early childhood care efforts in dual earner families in Indonesia. This research uses a literature review method with a scoping review technique to select relevant literature. Literature sources were searched online through the Google Scholar database through the Publish or Perish (POP) application, SpringerLink and ScienceDirect websites, and google searches. The results showed that dual earner families face significant challenges in balancing the demands of work with childcare. Although this model provides economic benefits, time constraints often lead to dependence on external caregivers, which can have an impact on child development, especially in parent-child interactions. Key challenges include sociological, psychological, economic and policy aspects. To address this, a comprehensive strategy involving supportive policies, the role of communities, the utilization of technology, as well as government intervention in providing supportive infrastructure is required. This research is expected to be an initial stepping stone for further empirical studies that are more in-depth about early childhood care in dual earner families in Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to explore practical strategies that educators and parents can implement in stimulating early childhood creativity in Indonesia. Creativity plays an important role in children's cognitive, social and emotional development and is an essential skill in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Despite its importance, the development of creativity in early childhood in Indonesia still faces various barriers, including teachers' lack of understanding of creative teaching methods and parents' involvement in supporting an environment conducive to children's creativity. This research uses the literature review method by analyzing various relevant sources from national and international journals. The results show that the application of creative methods such as the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach, educational games, and art activities can effectively stimulate children's creativity. In addition, active involvement of parents and environmental support that supports exploration also play a significant role in the development of creativity. This research is expected to make theoretical and practical contributions in improving the quality of early childhood education in Indonesia through the implementation of more innovative creativity development strategies.

Abstract

This article reviews the application of the Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT) approach in Early Childhood Education. BCCT is a child-centered learning method that integrates directed play strategies with center and circle methods. The purpose of this article is to comprehensively explore the concept, implementation, and evaluation of BCCT in the context of Early Childhood Education. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various sources related to BCCT. The main findings reveal that BCCT is effective in optimizing early childhood development holistically through stimulation of multiple intelligences in structured play activities. BCCT implements seven learning centers by utilizing four types of footholds to support children’s growth. In addition, BCCT has a comprehensive evaluation system integrated in the learning process. The contribution of this article in the field of early childhood education is to provide in-depth insight into the application of BCCT as an innovative child-centered approach, so that it can be a reference for educators and stakeholders in optimizing the early childhood learning process.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of digital technology on early childhood emotion regulation and the role of parental supervision. In the digital age, children are increasingly exposed to digital devices, which can affect their mental health and emotional development. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between digital technology use and children's mental health, as well as effective parental supervision strategies. The method used was a literature review with a scoping review technique, which allowed mapping the existing literature related to this topic. The findings suggest that unmanaged technology use can increase the risk of emotional and social disorders in children. However, good parental supervision can mitigate these negative impacts. This study contributes to a better understanding of the importance of parents' role in managing technology use among children. The results emphasize the need for family-based interventions to support children's mental health in the digital age.

Abstract

ICT competency framework, Knowlage Deepenin, ICT competency of early childhood teachers In the 21st century, the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in education has become increasingly crucial. Teachers are required to be able to integrate ICT into the teaching and learning process to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to examine the level of ICT competence of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in TK Ashabul Fikri. Based on the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (ICT CFT), teacher ICT competence is classified into three levels: technology literacy (knowlage acquisition), knowledge deepening, and knowledge creation. The results of the study show that the ICT competence of teachers in TK Ashabul Fikri is at the Knowledge Deepening (knowladge deepening) level, where teachers have implemented ICT in learning but have not yet been able to create ICT-based innovations.
