Abstract

Digital platform’s development can improve students' abilities and quality in learning Arabic. This research aims to reveal Arabic language learning through digital platforms. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through primary data sources, namely master students in Arabic language education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, class B, the first semester of 2023, and secondary data sources included documents in the form of journals, websites and applications. Data collection techniques use documents and interviews. Data analysis is in the form of data reduction, data classification, data analysis, and conclusions. The results of this research show that learning Arabic through digital platforms includes three factors, namely learning media, social media, and digital dictionaries. Learning media include Duolingo, Kahoot, and Quizziz. Social media includes Instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok. As well as digital dictionaries including Google Translate, Bing Translator, and Ma'ani Dictionary.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning and purpose of the command to wear hijab in Surah Al-Ahzab verse 59, focusing on the function of hijab as a form of protection and identity for Muslim women. This research is a library research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through an in-depth study of classical and contemporary interpretive literature, as well as relevant Islamic sources such as hadiths, scholarly works, and related scientific articles. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, which focuses on interpreting the text contextually and historically to explore the substantive meaning of the verse. To maintain the validity of the data, source triangulation is carried out, interpretation validation through comparison between interpretations, and checking the compatibility of meaning in the current social context. interpretation, increase awareness of Islamic values in dressing, and encourage the creation of just social harmony. The results of the study show that there is a narrowing of the meaning of the term hijab, which is often understood only as a head covering or a certain form of clothing, while the main message of the verse is politeness and social protection. In the current context, the hijab remains relevant as a symbol of obedience, respect, and protection from objectification. By understanding the historical and social context of this verse, this research seeks to bridge differences in interpretation, increase awareness of Islamic values in dress, and encourage the creation of just social harmony.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Arabic language teaching module based on a communicative approach to improve speaking skills in the Arabic specialization class. Based on observations and interviews conducted, it was found that Arabic learning in the specialization class still uses the same textbooks as regular classes, and the teaching method primarily relies on lectures. Furthermore, teachers have not yet used a specific teaching module that aligns with the needs of the specialization class. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the calculation of the N-gain score, the average value obtained was 0.7, which falls into the high category, with an improvement percentage of 75%, interpreted as fairly effective. In addition, the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.01, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This indicates a significant difference between students pretest and posttest scores after using the module. The findings of this study indicate that the communicative approach-based teaching module is highly effective in improving the speaking skill of students in the specialization class. It is recommended that teachers utilize and integrate this module into the learning process to create an active, interactive, and efficient learning environment.

Abstract

The curriculum has a position as the heart of educational activities, which will guide and pump all educational activities towards achieving educational goals. Philosophy is also called the "parent" or "mother" of science or "Master Scientiarum". This research aims to determine the meaning of curriculum philosophy, the foundations of curriculum philosophy and the schools of curriculum philosophy. The research approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach using a library research approach. The data sources for this research are books, articles or newspaper articles related to the problem under study. The results of this research show that curriculum philosophy is a branch of philosophy that questions and discusses the basic concepts, goals, principles and values that underlie the design and implementation of curriculum in the educational context. The philosophical foundation of the curriculum includes the basic principles that form the basis of curriculum thinking and development. As well as several schools of curriculum philosophy that are commonly found, including: Idealism, Realism, Pragmatism and Existentialism.

Abstract

هناك تكامل بين معنى القياس والنظرية التصويرية في سورة المائدة الآية 90. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين معنى القياس والنظرية التصويرية في جملة الخمر مع الحشيش والكحول الواردة في سورة المائدة الآية 90 باستخدام كتاب أصول الفقه. المواد المسكرة هي السبب في كون الخمر حرام. ويحرم شرب الخمر على أساس العلة، وهي السكر. فكل شراب فيه علته مثل الخمر شرعا، فهو حرام. وبناء على ذلك اكتشف المجتهد وحكم الحشيش والكحول هو حكم الخمر، لأن كلاهما واحد. وتشابه العلة بين القضايا التي ليس لها نص والقوانين التي لها نص يسبب وجود الوحدة القانونية. مدخل البحث الذي تستخدمه الباحثون هو المدخل النوعي بمنهج مكتبي (Library Research) وهو بحث يستخدم بجمع البيانات من الكتب والرسائل العلمية. ويستخدم الباحثون المدخل النوعي، وهو بحث مقارن وصفي يجمع البيانات وتحليلها ووصفها. والبيانات المحصولة على شكل أقوال أوصور. تشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن المجتهدين قدروا على تصوير كل المشروبات في أذهانهم، والطريقة المناسبة لإخراج الصفة من كل المشروبات هي بالنظرية التصويرية. بهذه الطريقة قدر على المجتهدين تصوير كل المشروبات في أذهانهم، حتي تعين صفة الماء من اللون، والرائحة، وطعم كل المشروبات إما من الخمر والحشيش والكحول. فالنظرية التصويرية تلعب دورا مهما في تعيين العلة من الخمر والحشيش والكحول، و تكون وصيلة لإستنباط الحكم على طريقة قياس المعنى.

Abstract

Using books as a source of learning is something that teachers usually do. Textbooks serve as study guides for teachers and students. In analysing the Arabic language textbook for the semester, the author states that this book is very suitable as an Arabic language textbook according to BSNP standards, as it scored 82% for content, 97% for presentation, 80% for language, 89% for illustrations, and 86% for overall evaluation. Overall, this book is suitable for use as a textbook in schools. The contents of the book are good in terms of structure, KI and KD, depth of material, and student development. The presentation of the book is also good, despite the lack of a summary of the material, but this shortcoming can be covered by tasks that can be used to enhance student understanding. The language in which the book is written is appropriate for the student's level and is written in a straightforward manner, but it is less interactive. Regardless, the book's illustrations are also appropriate, with the choice of book size, cover colour, and cover image really making it clear that this is an Arabic book, as well as the proportionate format of the book and the correct choice of paper colour, font, and quality. The writing makes readers feel at home when reading it.
