Abstract

The role of metacognitive awareness on language teaching and learning have been confirmed by several studies, but the discussions of this topic in Chinese as foreign language are limited. The aim of the present research was to map metacognitive awareness profile of Chinese language learners. Total respondent of this research was 80 Chinese language learners (38 males and 42 females) which comprise secondary students. Convenience sampling technique was employed to select the respondents. Meanwhile, the metacognitive awareness data were collected utilizing Junior Metacognitive Inventory. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistic. Mann-Whitney U Test was employed to investigate the significance differences of metacognitive awareness between male and female. The findings showed that 46.25% of Chinese Language Learners have a good metacognitive knowledge, 28.75% fair, 20% very good, 3.75% poor, and 1.25% very lacking. The finding also showed that 40% students have good metacognitive regulation, 36.25% fair, 15% very good, 7.50% poor, and 1.25% very lacking. In addition, between male and female students have no significant difference in knowledge of cognition. On the contrary, regulation of cognition female learners (Mdn= 32.50) significantly (U= 551.000, p more than 0.05) better compared to male (Mdn= 30).

Abstract

Abstract One of the textbooks used in different countries written by non-Arabs is "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz. By the author, he allegedly used a communicative input. However, in terms of strategic competence and the perspective of the foundations of the preparation of educational materials, it was not enough. Based on this issue, the objectives of this research are to know the foundations of the teaching materials in the textbook "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, and its educational materials from the perspective of communicative competence. This research used the synthetic-inferential approach with the theory of foundations for preparing educational materials and the theory of communication. The type of this research is qualitative-quantitative through a desk study, which is written data and taken from the textbook "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, whether it was printed or electronic version. The data collection used the documentation method, and the data analysis used the James Spradley method and discourse analysis. The results obtained by the research are the foundations for the preparation of the textbook, "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, which is the structural-communicative approach; purposes; Material consisting of its selection, organization, arrangement and presentation; ways; and evaluation, and the educational material in that book is a perspective of communicative competence is very good which is up to 85.45%. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen kurikulum pendidikan diniyah formal yang difokuskan pada kitab nahwu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca di pondok pesantren salafiyah parappe Sulawesi barat, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendekripsikan perencanaan, implementasi dan evaluasi pembelajaran kitab nahwu, karena melihat penguasaan kitab santri-santri di pondok ini sangat memunkinkan untuk ditiru oleh pondok-pondok lain khususnya di sulawesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, Objek pada pada penelitian ini terkait manajemen kurikulum pendidikan diniyah formal pada bidang pemebelajaran nahwu. Data penelitian ini, diperoleh dari berbagai sumber dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, dan diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Upaya mengecek keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa : (1) Perencaan kurikulum pendidikan diniyah formal pada kitab nahwu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca di pondok pesantren salafiyah parappe merencanakan beberapa aspek yaitu tujuan, materi pemebelajaran, metode pemebelajaran, (2) Implementasi kurikulum pendidikan diniyah formal pada kitab nahwu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca di pondok pesantren salafiyah parappe yaitu pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar, pelaksanaan batasan metode yang digunakan, batasan media yang digunakan. (3) Evaluasi kurikulum pendidikan diniyah formal pada kitab nahwu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca di pondok pesantren salafiyah parappe yaitu evaluasi pertengahan semester dan dan akhir semester, evaluasi tersebut menggunakan dua cara yaitu tes secara lisan dan tulisan.

Abstract

Purpose - This research aims to explain the pedagogic competence of arabic teachers in the learning process and pedagogic competencies of Arabic teachers in learning evaluation. The objects in this study were all Arabic teachers at MAN 1 Mojokerto consists of 4 teachers. Design/methodology/approach - A qualitative approach with observation, interviews, documentation as complementary data. Findings - The research results obtained by researchers include, Most Arabic teachers make lesson plans globally for one year. They use learning methods according to the circumstances and abilities of students to achieve learning objectives; their classroom management abilities are related to the methods used. They do not use learning media due to the limitations of the school's media and the teacher's lack of ability to apply the latest media. Most of the Arabic teachers in Learning Evaluation use the test results as a tool to improve future exams and for selecting students until they can follow certain competencies Originality/value - The competence of Arabic language teachers, which is sometimes questioned, is not a problem in this study. This is because the teachers who teach Arabic at the research sites are state teachers, perhaps it is necessary to follow up more deeply on the competence of Arabic teachers in private schools. Abstract

مستخلص البحث الغرض من هذه البحث هو معرفة شكل النظرية المعرفية الاجتماعية من باندورا والتي يمكن تطبيقها وتنفيذها على تعليم اللغة العربية في المدارس أو المعاهد. بناءً على العديد من الدراسات السابقة ، تم تطبيق النهج المعرفي على نطاق واسع كان التعلم هو النهج المعرفي من بياجيه. الطريقة المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي البحث الكيفي مع نهج البحث في المكتبات. بناءً على تحليل دراسة الأدب ، نهج النظرية المعرفية الاجتماعية التي يمكن تنفيذها على يتم تعلم اللغة العربية من خلال التعلم القائم على الملاحظة أو النمذجة الذي يتضمن أربع عمليات وهي عملية الانتباه ، والاحتفاظ ،التكاثر والتحفيز. النهج المعرفي الاجتماعي الذي يمكن أن يكون يتم تطبيقه على تعليم التربية الإسلامية في التطبيق ؛ المناهج والتدريس وتقييم. بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ نظرية التعلم الاجتماعي عن طريق النمذجة لا يتعارض مع تعاليم الإسلام التي تشجع الناس على جعل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قدوة أو قدوة في الحياة.

Abstract

Teachers are the heart of an education, which through their abilities will be born a young generation who is ready to become a reliable national cadre in all fields. Every teacher is required to have competence in accordance with National Education Standards because teacher competence is considered to have an effect on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of: 1.The influence of pedagogical competence 2.The Influence of the Personality Competence. 3.The influence of Social Competence. 4.The influence of Professional Competence of Arabic Language Teachers on the learning outcomes of students' writing skills at MAN Mojokerto. This study uses a quantitative research design. The data analysis model used is Simple Linear Regression with the help of the IBM SPSS 22 application. The results of this study indicate that: 1.The pedagogic competence is in the good category with a significance = 0.001. The magnitude of the influence of teacher pedagogic competence is 65.4% affecting the learning outcomes of writing skills, while the rest is influenced by other factors. 2. Personality competence is good with a significance = 0.021. The magnitude of  the teacher's personality competence 43% affects the learning outcomes of writing skills, while the rest is influenced by other factors. 3. Social competence is good with a significance = 0.004. The magnitude of the teacher's personality competence 57.9% affects the learning outcomes of writing skills, while the rest is influenced by other factors. 4. The professional competence is good with a significance = 0.003. The ratio of teachers' professional skills is 60.1% which affects the learning outcomes of writing skills, while the rest is influenced by other factors.The formal findings of this study are: Teacher competence has an effect on student learning outcomes. Simultaneously, the influence of pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competence is significant on student learning outcomes in writing skills. This means that if teacher competence increases, it will be followed by increased student learning outcomes. Or vice versa if teacher competence decreases, student learning outcomes will also decrease.إن المعلمين قلب التعليم، وبقدراتهم يمكن أن يطبع جيل الشباب كادر الأمة الموثوقة في جميع المجالات. فيجب أن يكون كل معلم مؤهلًا بالكفاءة وفقًا لمعايير التعليم الوطنية ، لأن كفاءة المعلم تعتبر ذات تأثير على نتيجة تعلم الطلبة. والغرض من هذا البحث هو لقياس: 1. تأثير الكفاءة التعليمية 2. تأثير الكفاءة الشخصية 3. تأثير الكفاءة الاجتماعية 4. تأثير الكفاءة المهنية لمعلمي اللغة العربية في نتيجة تعلم مهارة الكتابة لدى الطلبة في المدارس الثانوية الإسلامية بموجوكرتو. تستخدم هذه الدراسة تصميم بحث كمي. وأسلوب تحليل البيانات المستخدم هو الانحدار الخطي البسيط بمساعدة تطبيق IBM SPSS 22. ونتائج هذه الدراسة إلى ما يلي: 1. الكفاءة التعليمية في فئة جيدة مع أهمية = 0.001 وحجم تأثير الكفاءة التعليمية للمعلمين 65.4٪ تؤثر على نتيجة تعلم مهارة الكتابة بينما تتأثر الباقية بعوامل أخرى 2. الكفاءة الشخصية جيدة مع دلالة = 0.021. يؤثر حجم كفاءة شخصية المعلمين 43٪ على نتيجة تعلم مهارة الكتابة، بينما يتأثر الباقي بعوامل أخرى.3 . الكفاءة الاجتماعية جيدة مع دلالة = 0.004 حجم كفاءة شخصية المعلمين 57.9٪ تؤثر على نتيجة تعلم مهارة الكتابة ، بينما يتأثر الباقي بعوامل أخرى 4. الكفاءة المهنية جيد مع دلالة = 0.003. نسبة المهارة المهنية للمعلمين 60.1٪ مما يؤثر على نتائج تعلم مهارة الكتابة، بينما يتأثر الباقي بعوامل أخرى. والنتائج الرسمية لهذه الدراسة هي كفاءة المعلمين لها تأثير على نتائج تعلم الطلبة. وهناك تأثير كبير على الكفاءة التعليمية والشخصية والاجتماعية والمهنية لمعلمي اللغة العربية على نتائج تعلم مهارة الكتابة لدی الطلبة. وهذا يعني أنه في حالة زيادة كفاءة المعلمين، فسوف يتبع ذلك زيادة في نتائج تعلم الطلبة، أو العكس إذا انخفضت كفاءة المعلمين، فسوف تنخفض أيضًا نتائج تعلم الطلبة.

Abstract

Contemporarily, the study of al-Qur'an has a divine‘s value of presenting the work of literature. One of the studies that manifests in a variety of meanings is the existence of al-Adldaad which induces to multiple interpretations. Al-Adldaad's position occupies various conditions where linguistic studies need to explore this existence. This discussion is important, so that someone can understand the meaning of a word or expression correctly by paying attention to the sentence context. Based on this, the purposes of this article are to identify the al-Adldaad words in surah al-Nisa' and explain the meaning of the al-Adldaad words in a linguistic context. Researchers used qualitative method and descriptive approache.  Data analysis technique using content analysis. The results of the study show that the words al-Adldaad in surah al-Nisa' theorically and practically (use) and their meaning are dominated by the words “baina/bainahuma” which mean “al-Wishool” and “al-Firooq”, the words "Rosuul" which mean Isim al-Maf'ul (Mursal), the words "Zauj/Azwaaj" which mean "al-Untsa" (Zaujah), then the words of al-Adldaad are Shighoh Isim al-Maf'ul “Muhshonaat” which mean Isim Fa'il (Muhshinaat). The finding from this study is that the al-Adldaad words in Surah An-Nisa' are not only in the form of lafadh, but also in "wazan" form. Therefore, the theory of Ulamaa' al-Lughoh al-Qudama' can be added with the word "wazan" "لفظ أو وزن له معنيان أو استعمالان متضادّان" "a word or wazan which has two opposite meanings or uses".  Keywords: Context, Language, al-Adldaad, An-Nisa’

Abstract

Verses of the Qur'an as a guide for Muslims in organizing and applying the life of the world and the Hereafter. Therefore the Qur'an uses the language of the ummah in which they live. Prophet Muhammad was chosen as an envoy to spread Islam with the guidelines of the Qur'an according to the language used. Understanding the Qur'an is not enough to read it, even though every reading has a reward. Moreover, understanding the Qur'an's language must receive more attention to get a thorough understanding of all aspects of the instructions intended for this whole nature. This linguistic understanding such as antonyms in the Qur'an or dilalah in Q.S al-Ma'arij will be discussed in this article to look for antonyms in the surah based on the range of meanings and types of antonyms of the semantic perspective of AL-Khulli. The method in this paper uses al-Khulli semantics by racing on his theory of nine types of antonyms in Arabic. However, in Q.S Ma'arij. From his conclusion there are thirteen types of antonyms namely: Binary (تضاد حاد ), vertical antonymy (تضاد عمودي), Affinity (تضاد انتسابي ), Graded (ضاد متدرج), Convergence (تضاد عكس). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the language disorder experienced by the character Woo Young Woo in the Korean drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques, see notes and data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This Korean drama is directed by Yoo In-Shik and the script of the drama is written by Moon Ji-Won. The results of the research obtained are the character Woo Young Woo is said to have autism spectrum. However, he has extraordinary intelligence with an IQ of 164. This distinguishes between him and people with autism in general. So, it was concluded that the type of disorder Woo suffered from was spectrum Asperger's. Some of the symptoms of autism syndrome experienced by Woo are talking about one topic that he likes continuously, often repeating the same words, flat tone and voice like a robot, too fast in explaining things, not making eye contact and avoiding physical contact, less sensitive to the meaning of emotions and expressions of people around him, difficult to make friends, sensitive to light and noise,  has difficulty coordinating movements, is a perfectionist, and has an above-average IQ. Abstract

This research aims to describe the connotative meaning of the Dreamers song lyrics at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The object of this research is the video clip of the Dreamers song on the FIFA YouTube channel with Dreamers song lyrics as the data. The Dreamers song was chosen because it is specifically created to welcome the 2022 World Cup, held every four years. Data was collected using the watch, listen, and note techniques. To interpret the data, researchers used the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique, which consists of the data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. This research shows that the Dreamers song lyrics have a positive connotative meaning. The positive connotation meanings in the Dreamers song lyrics were found in 12 words consisting of the phrase dreamers, believe, keep, invited, come, gather 'round, respect, نتجمع, نتكاتف و نرفع ,نتعاون ونحققو نتحد و نتجاوز. Keywords: Connotative, dreamers, positive
