Abstract

The article on the influence of coaching and discipline on managerial employee performance which is mediated by employee engagement is a scientific literature article within the scope of human resource management science. The purpose of this writing is to build a hypothesis of the influence between variables which can later be used for further research within the scope of human resource management. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained from previous research that is relevant to this research and sourced from academic online media such as Publish or Perish, Google Scholar, digital reference books and Sinta journals. The results of this article are: 1) Coaching influences employee engagement; 2) Discipline influences employee engagement; 3) Coaching influences the performance of managerial employees; 4) Discipline influences the performance of managerial employees; 5) Employee engagement influences the performance of managerial employees; 6) Coaching managerial influences employee performance through employee engagement; and 7) Discipline influences managerial employee performance through employee engagement.

Abstract

A person is considered elderly if they have reached the age of 60 years or more. Elderly people will undergo a degenerative aging process, one of the changes that occurs in elderly people is in the cardiovascular system. Changes that occur in the heart of older people include thickening of the left ventricular wall and reduced elasticity of the heart muscle. This has an impact on the blood vessels of older people who are susceptible to hypertension. One way to overcome this problem is to do tera exercises as a non-pharmacological therapy. Tera gymnastics is a combination of breathing exercises and body movements. This counseling aims to determine the impact of tera exercise on reducing blood pressure in elderly people suffering from hypertension at the Posyandu Hall, Punggur RW 17 Plot, Nongsa District. This counseling uses a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest – posttest design. There were 25 elderly people who were respondents in this counseling.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition characterized by an increased frequency of bowel movements of more than 3 times within 24 hours accompanied by a change in the consistency of stools becoming softer or watery. Diarrhea is also the leading cause of death in Indonesia, accounting for 10.3% in 2020, with 2,131 cases reported in Batam city in 2023 and 3,713 cases in 2024. This study aims to determine the relationship between Handwashing with Soap Practices Among Mothers and the Incidence of Diarrhea in Toddlers. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Cross-Sectional design involving 67 respondents. The population of this study is all toddlers in the Working Area of the Tanjung Buntung Health Center in Batam City in 2024. This study employed a 'Cluster Random Sampling' technique, and the results showed that the handwashing with soap habits were poor, with 31 toddlers (46.3%) experiencing diarrhea, while respondents with good handwashing with soap habits did not experience diarrhea.
